Walking around the Del Amo Fashion center outdoor section for the first time, we came across this appealing boba shop located around the corner next to Starbucks!!! Honestly, as we were in the mall, I noticed a couple walking around with these drinks so I was hoping to find the spot that served them!!! Once we saw it, I knew that me and my girlfriend needed to try out drinks. I got the Mystic Ube Matcha drink and made sure to shake it fully before sipping. The ube flavor was very creamy and overpowered the matcha taste, but it was very delicious. I finished the drink so quickly we didn't even make it back indoors yet!! Entrance leads to the front of the counter, the inside of the shop is small so I recommend waiting outside for your order especially if you don't like tight spaces with a crowd. I tried a sip of the oolong milk tea and did not like it. [ Service ] When we were ordering, it seemed like the manager was training a new staff; he was impatient and rude to the employee (as mentioned in other reviews btw) in front of us, which makes for an awkward situation. I was surprised to see Teaspoon was no longer here and it is now 7 Miles Tea Lab. From the Business Update section, it looks like they just rebranded the business. This shop is located in the outside area of Del Amo Fashion Center near Starbucks. There is an elevator near the shop. It is a tiny space, so you basically take it To-Go. You can order using the QR Code or order with a staff member. I went twice and both times I didn't have to wait long. However, both times, there was only one person doing it all. After you order, they make your drinks and after you grab them, they take the next person's order. I hope they're working on getting another person to help out so the waiting isn't as long. I made a stop in to see what drinks were being offered and try them. The drinks were quite colorful! I got the Ube Coconut Milk and it was super delicious! I enjoyed it so much that I came back the next day to try something else. I should've waited because it wasn't that good to me. The Ube Coconut Milk is filling and satisfying. It has Ube Cream, Coconut Milk, Milk, Purple Sticky Rice, and Boba in it. I would definitely get this drink again! The Avocado on Mango ($7.25) was okay. The avocado was very mild almost to the point I wouldn't know it was in there. Maybe it was too diluted with milk? I didn't enjoy some of the mango as some of the pieces had been trimmed too close to the seed and was very fibrous-y. The mango pieces were too mushy & almost rancid. I would skip this drink in the future. The other drinks I got were 7's Thai Tea ($5.75), Matcha Earl Grey Oat Latte ($6.25), Lychee Coconut ($6.25), & Ube Coconut Milk ($6.25). Other than the latter drink, I didn't try these, they were for other family members. They said the drinks were good. I think I heard that the Lychee Coconut drink was pretty "light"... maybe flavor-wise. I will surely be back for more drinks. There are a few more I want to try. If I don't love any of them, at least I can rely on the Ube Coconut Milk as a viable option! read more

I've been here twice and enjoyed the drinks both times. The second time I came with a friend and she got the black Sesame under the clouds and I got the grapefruit jasmine. Both were super yummy and the grapefruit jasmine had plenty of aloe Vera and grapefruit pulp. My friend found the black Sesame perfect in terms of sweetness (which she got 50% sweet) but after finishing the whole drink, noted that it was a bit heavy. We'll definitely be back again. To try more though. Side note, this is more of a pick up and go tea shop and there isn't anywhere to sit down and drink inside. read more

I visited 7 Miles Tea Lab - Torrance on October 18, 2025, at 9:15 PM as a first-time customer. The posted hours online and on Google stated the store closes at 9:30 PM, so I expected to be served. However, when I arrived, a Caucasian female employee at the door told me they were "already closing" and refused to take my order -- even though the lights were on, menu screens were still lit, the door was open, and another staff member was visibly standing at the cash register ready to serve customers. I even took a photo at 9:19 PM showing the store fully lit, clearly operational, and not in the process of cleaning. Management can easily verify which employees were on duty that evening. After posting my initial review, the business manager, Shuyue L., responded claiming the fall hours had changed to 9:00 PM but were "not updated on the website," and that "employees were cleaning at 9:15 PM." This explanation is simply not true, as the attached photo contradicts it -- the store was not being cleaned, and staff were still at their stations with the register active. Even worse, the manager's response came across as defensive rather than apologetic, blaming outdated "summer hours" instead of accepting responsibility for misleading customers with incorrect business hours and dismissive treatment. It should not fall on the customer to discover that a store's publicly listed hours are wrong. If the hours truly changed, management should have immediately updated the website, Google listing, and posted signs, instead of turning paying customers away before the listed closing time. This incident shows poor communication and lack of professionalism. A simple, genuine apology and acknowledgment of the mistake would have gone a long way -- but instead, the response downplayed the issue. Unfortunately, that says a lot about how this location values its customers. I will not be returning unless management takes clear corrective action and properly trains staff on how to treat customers with respect up until the posted closing time. read more

It has purple rice in it which is my new obsession I've been waiting for their yelp page to show up because o couldn't wait to thank Jennifer again on such amazing customer service. Usually, I try them all and never return. Reasons? Too sweet, too artificial, too much ice, too little drink, or just plain bad service. But this latest spot caught my eye. It's a small, cute grab-and-go place. The young girl at the register was genuinely helpful (a rare find), and I went for the guava-strawberry drink, fearing it'd taste like candy syrup. To my surprise: adjustable sweetness and a green tea base that actually tasted like... green tea. No artificial weirdness--finally! The guava came through nicely, strawberry was subtle, and the overall balance? Not too bad. Bonus points: they keep their ingredients visible in a clear cooler--milk, oat milk, coconut, all out in the open. Love the transparency (literally). Would I return? I love this place and this will be my go-to place for milk tea at Del Amo Mall! I ordered the matcha tea latte with oatmilk and it was really good! The matcha had a really good flavor/taste to it! They have a pretty good variety of milk teas and other drinks. The tall cup that it comes in is kinda fancy and made out of a really good material too! I pay with cash when I come here, but I think I heard or read somewhere if you use a credit card, there is a surcharge or small fee for using CCs. I'm not sure about debit cards though. If you're "less sweet" person like me, this place is aces. Even the 100% sweet was reasonable. My partner got the strawberry Oreo and it was downright delicious and not too sweet for me at all. Supremely pleasant. I got the black sugar milk tea at whatever "less sweet" is and it was great. I think I could have had it at full sweet and enjoyed it just as well. Next time I'll try the Belgian Cookie, since I know It will be a really nice level of sweet. Conveniently located across from the AMC in the mall. was impressed with how good the service was here! the workers were kind and went out of their way to help. they offered another cup for my kid so we could split our drink (she wanted a strawberry cookies and cream which they said had no caffeine) and offered her playmate water as well. i like that there's an oat milk alternative so it's dairy free and i was able to get boba with our drink since we split. our friends got the watermelon coconut drink which they said was good as well! lots more on menu that i want to try for next time--particularly ube and matcha drinks. the only "con" is limited space inside and there are not many chairs so seating/waiting area could be improved with maybe stools or a counter, but overall ambiance was still good. would return. read more

They're located on the 2nd level on the outdoor plaza at Del Amo Mall (across from the AMC Theaters). I've been here a few times and there's usually always a line, but the most common complaint I hear that the service is a little slow. They're always friendly but not always the most efficient in making drinks (compared to other tea shops), but they do make everything pretty fresh. A lot of fruit friendly options with unique combinations, some pairings better than others. For instance, IMO, the drago fruit peach smoothie is a hit whereas the dragon fruit lychee smash tastes a little off. A staple for me is the matcha earl grey oat latte. Service was friendly, but the store is pretty small and can get crowded when there are a lot of people waiting in line or waiting for their drinks, so I recommend using the QR code at the door to order online. I got the Black Sesame Under the Clouds (with red bean) at an employee's suggestion, which had such great texture, and I loved how strong the black sesame flavor was. Solid tea spot taking over Teaspoon at Del Amo! The line was a little long outside of the door (which speaks to their popularity) and so my friends and I ordered online instead. I got the Mango Passion Fruit Tea with Jasmine Jelly and was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing taste. I am definitely intrigued by the Black Sesame Under the Clouds and will be back to try that!! One thing that could be improved, and possibly just because we came around opening weekend, was on the online ordering system, it did not show what drinks were unavailable. My friend had ordered a drink containing peach and we were waiting for the drink that never came out. We actually stood off to the side and noticed some writing behind the counter saying that the store was out of peach, but it wasn't reflected online. My friend eventually asked about if her drink was coming out -- which the staff let her know that she was refunded and that she could choose any drink to her liking. It was just strange that they saw us standing in the shop, but didn't notify us. My friend also stated after we left, that no refund was reflected in her account. They have a decent selection of fruity and milky drinks which all have pictures on their menu. I've tried a couple of their drinks at another location before and I've always felt like they use quality ingredients. This time I got one of their top picks, the belgium cookie milk tea, and it did not disappoint. I also never leave drinks unfinished but I was so dissatisfied with the taste that I didn't even finish half of the drink. I'm upset that I spent $7.20 on a drink that was worth maybe 50 cents ... the service was fine, and the place is fine as well, but I feel like even if they were to remake my drink it would still be watery. The brewed oolong tea here is not good. Extremely over steeped. The tea is not brewed fresh and comes from a large metal container which left a metallic/plastic-y aftertaste. Also, I don't think the employees knew what was going on. They couldn't get the cash register open to give me change and then didn't give me boba when I payed for it. Kind of had an attitude about me not having exact change, also. They also didn't inform me it was hot tea when it was very obviously iced tea in the photo.
