It is more aromatic and less sweet tasting. Karlo, store manager, is really nice. This location is clean and has a drive thru that isn't clearly visible from the street. I was in the mood for a cheesy truffle mushroom omelette, and thankfully, this place wasn't too far away. I went through the drive-through and tried to order the omelette, but their café menu items cannot be ordered through the drive-through so I had to park and get out and I ordered my omelette to go. I got home and did a quick warm-up and dug right in. The omelette tasted amazing. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly. The truffle is more of an oil than it is the actual truffle shavings, but it was so good. The omelette itself was so fluffy and it was a pretty big omelette for the price. This is definitely going to be a staple when I'm in the mood for something savory in the morning. The café is actually really cute on the inside. Simply put, 7 Leaves has made me a milk tea snob. I used to be able to go to most boba places and be satisfied with the milk tea, but now nothing measures up -- they taste like they're made with powder vs tea leaves and milk, or they just don't have much flavor. I've tried to mimic it myself, but it just doesn't turn out as good. My go to is the Assam milk tea upsized. I don't usually add boba but when I do it's cooked to perfection. To fuel my addiction, they even sell half gallons WITH FREE CUPS so I don't have to go back every day but still feel like I'm getting the full milk tea experience. While I've gone to many locations, I'm reviewing this one because it started the obsession. I usually order in the app. One thing I love about this location is that they keep my order in the fridge until I get there. While some locations are kind of small, another nice thing about this location is that there is plenty of room in the cafe to sit and hang out or do work. This time, I decided to try delivery and placed an order for two drinks with light ice and boba, taking advantage of your buy 1 get 1 free promotion. However, both drinks arrived with boba filling nearly half the cup (see attached photo). I ordered a large size and paid extra for it, but the actual liquid portion was closer to a regular sized drink due to the excessive amount of boba. After visiting a couple of other 7 Leaves locations in LA County and north of OC, this is THE BEST one in the area. My orders are always ready upon arrival and the staff are really friendly and nice. I have never had a bad experience or a long wait here. Although there aren't many food selection or places to sit inside, the location is surrounded by small eats places next door and across the street. Lastly, I just wanted to mention that this place has the most beautiful looking drive-thru landscaping. So in the rare event that there's a car in front of you, take a good look. When I previously visited a 7 leaves cafe, my drink tasted like cereal lol So, I went with a safe option; the Thai tea. I added boba and asked for extra boba. I'm the biggest 7 leaves fan but this location is terrible. It's always a gamble whether you'll get your drink in a timely manner or have to wait 30 mins for it. Today, I waited almost 30 mins for two drinks and a quiche (heated up). In that time span, I watched some other customers get mad because they waited 30 mins and still had no drinks, saw the employees look stressed out of their minds, saw another lady luckily get her drink right as she was about to get mad for waiting so long. I was at the board looking for the right drink I needed today. I said, "Oh, I've never had the Taro drink. I think I'm going to order that today." The gentleman responding in the microphone asked, "Do you want to try a sample before you order it?" I said, "I never knew that was an option. Yes, please." He instructed me to go to the window for my drink and sample. I want to say that the sample I received and the smiles that came with it from the three employees who were there were the medicine I needed today. I was returning home from a doctor appointment where I received some not-so-good news. They had no idea of my mental condition at that point, but each of the employees went out of their way to make me feel as though my drink was the most important thing to make. Most experiences are transactional. Some are transformational. Although this is always the 7 Leaves I frequent, I will continue to feel good about spending my money there because of the way I'm continually uplifted by your staff. Bravo! I went in for house coffees, and when I walked in, there wasn't a person at the front counter. They were all by the drive thru window and It took a second before someone came over so I could order. They were friendly and took our order quickly. We waited about 5 min before our drinks were ready. We love the house coffees drinks. Coffee is super smooth, creamy and not too sweet. Very good.
