This is a cool place to go if you are hungry for a little bit of everything! They had seafood, Italian, American, Mediterranean, and an amazing dessert bar! All of the food that I had was okay...not excellent, but not bad. It was $40 a person, which isn't bad in my opinion, especially if you get any of the seafood options. The service was okay...took us awhile to track down silverware, but they were mobbed when we were here. Put our name on the list for a party of 2 at 5:45 and had an hour and 15 minute wait. The ambiance was loud. Nothing fancy. It was also quite varied in the way people were dressed, from formal wear, to shorts and sweatpants. This buffet was a surprise that I wasn't expecting! We stopped on the way through to the Catskills right after we got out of Syracuse. The buffet was beautiful and clean. The waitress and host were top notch. It was a little confusing at first in order to check in and pay with the kiosk, but once you did it, it made sense. There was soooo much food and reminded me of what I would put out in culinary school for presentations so it was familiar to me! I loved getting a classic creme brulee in a small bite-sized format, perfect for a diabetic like me to get a little nibble. They also had a few other lower-sugar options. As we was walking in, the ladies in the front we're super nice and welcoming ! as we sit I told them I won't be eating since I already ate. As time go by , someone who work there came to our table where me and my friends were sitting and told me I had to go pay up front in full price for taking a bite of fries that my friend had in her plate, I was super confused ! then he came back again and told us this is not allowed and is apart of the policy and I need to go PAY NOW or else security will be called on us. If this was their " policy " I would advise them to maybe warn us before we had took a seat ??? or let us know and let it go for 1 time. Later we left he came & followed us to make sure we pay in full price threatening us. Keep in mind the buffet was literally closing in 20 minutes. HE ALSO HAD THE AUDACITY TO ASK WHAT DO WE DO FOR A LIVING !!!! LIKE HELLO WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING !!!! End up paying $130 just to not eat. I gave 4 stars because it's a buffet, and well how much do you really expect out of buffet. They had a great selection of American, Asian, and middle eastern cuisine. I tried a little of everything and wasn't disappointed. The seafood which seems to be what draws people in wasn't up to standards. It was good quality seafood but the steamed clams had no flavor and tasted like they were just boiled in plain water, not even a pinch of salt was added. I thought the butter would help give them a little flavor but the butter they use tasted like movie theatre butter and I just didn't enjoy that. The oysters had no brine to them at all, they tasted like they were straight out of a fresh water river. I did like the shrimp cocktail and I also liked the clams with the spicy tomato sauce. The best thing of the night was the desserts, specifically the warm apple crumble. They had a great selection. For the price, I have no complaints. Our server was awesome and friendly, and made sure to keep our table clear and drinks replenished. This would be a good night out with the family since there is something for every taste bud. 7 kitchens is better than your average buffet style restaurant. I thought that we would have to wait in line but we didn't! As soon as we walked up we were being brought to sit down! The food when brought out fresh was amazing! So much to choose from it's hard to sit down with one thing. I believe what they do here is they have 7 different styles of food. Mexican, Chinese, Italian, American, seafood, salad bar and desserts! I actually tried a little from every kind they had! Also on Friday and Saturdays they have prime rib! Every staff member seemed to be happy and smiling! They were always coming to take our plates away. They honestly did a great job taking care of us! The food here looked incredible! The small amount of food that I got to eat WAS incredible!! I'm NOT complaining at all!! But the BEST part to me, as someone who cannot eat dairy/gluten, was the fact that they had labels above each dish telling you what the dish is AND what allergens it contains. This alone was AMAZING to me!! Everywhere should have these! The staff was very friendly, the place is HUGE, and the food was amazing! The price seemed worth it to me and literally all I could actually eat was salad and the meats. First kitchen Mexican and second Italian we passed first plate through. Seafood area I chose Cajun salmon, flaky and tasty I would have liked more seasoning, salt and pepper shrimp very good and not over cooked, from Chinese/Japanese and grabbed bacon carmelized Brussels delicious from the traditional American, then went for salted fried small potatoes, wow I need to make these at home, roasted beef brisket, tender and flavorful, and roasted peppers, fresh peel and eat shrimp and artichokes from the antipasto bar. We went for second plates and had the fried cheese taco and nachos with our fav toppings, more salt and pepper shrimp and Brussels, more beef brisket oh yeah. Final plate desserts we picked many to sample and share. No way we could have eaten all of any of them without needing assistance to get up and walk when done. Ugh, where do I begin. So my wife and I drove up from Massachusetts to Turning Stone last night to meet some family members for dinner who had driven in from Rochester, NY. Not really a half way point, but we figured we'd hit the casino afterwards (which we did) and play some games before heading home - a 3 hour drive. Weren't sure where we were going to eat when we arrived, but since there were five of us plus an almost 2 year old (before you say anything, the 2 year old didn't go in the casino - we're not like that), we decided the buffet at "7 Kitchens" would be the best option. The hostess at the door who checked us in was very nice, told us there'd be a bit of wait, but ended up getting us seated in 45 minutes instead of the hour and 15 minutes she'd originally predicted. I approached the counter to pay for all of us, after which another hostess began escorting us to our table - five of us plus a kid in the stroller, remember? She gets us to the set of tables she intended to seat us at, only to find out they hadn't been cleaned yet. "No biggie" we figured, just sit us somewhere else or clean the tables. Not a huge deal. She walks away for a moment, comes back, and asks us to follow her to a different spot to be seated. She brings us to two single tables (single meaning meant for two people) that were situated together (yes, for four adults in this configuration), says "enjoy your meal", and walks away. Keep in mind, we have five adults and a baby. This table arrangement was NEVER going to work for a party of our size. There was another single table sitting by itself, so since no one from 7 KItchens was there to direct us, we took it upon ourselves to reposition the two tables they had us seated at, and add a third single table, to accommodate all of us comfortably. Let the games begin! The tables hadn't been moved more than 5 seconds when one of the hostesses came over and said "Like we said when you checked in, tables can't be moved under any circumstances". My sister chimed in first, saying "how are you going to fit five adults and a baby at two single tables?", to which the hostess replied "well, it has to be done with all of the tables in their original configuration". This is when my wife and I chimed in, my wife first, saying "Okay, you reposition the tables and show us how the five of us and a baby are going to sit here". I followed with "you told us our table was ready, you took us to it, discovered it wasn't ready for us, and dropped us here, at a table that was never going to work for a party of our size". At this point, another woman who may have been at a higher level in the restaurant came over and repeated the narrative from the other hostess that "tables cant be moved under any circumstances". Before we could say anything else, she added "the rules are made by someone at a higher level, not me", after which, she told us "and there are no managers here for you to talk to about this." We hadn't even asked for a manager and she was already telling us no one above her was available to chat with about the situation. Horrible attitude for someone in her line of work. We continued to express our dissatisfaction with there lack of preparedness and disorganization, after which she condescendingly said "if you're not happy with this table, you can go back on the wait list", which is pretty much when I lost it. I said "we've already been on your wait list and because you screwed up seating us where we were supposed to be seated initially, were supposed to uncomfortably situate ourselves here?". She basically said "yep, thats how it is". By this time, everyone around us is watching the exchange, I'm irate, as is the rest of our family, Finally, the two hostesses concede defeat, realizing were not going to back down, and agree to seat us at another table. Anyone want to guess where they seated us? Yep, you guessed it, at the three single tables situated next to one another where they had originally planned to seat us, and it was fine. Completely comfortable and perfect for the number of people in our party. Side note: the attendant we had assigned to our table seemed to be having a bad day too. We did end up leaving her a tip because I didn't want to blame her for the actions of her peers, but clearly, she wasn't happy with her job either. Our very first visit to Turning Stone Casino to meet family for a nice dinner, and this is how these two hostesses decided to handle the situation. We enjoyed our time in the casino, so I would go back there again, but I won't step into 7 Kitchens again, EVER! Total turn off, and not how you treat customers. First impressions are everything, and these two absolutely blew it. read more

On Saturday 12-24-2022 We went to 7 Kitchen buffet party of 3 people the food was very good but the service was very bad and racist against the Asian people. I waited for the Prime rib the server cut used the fork and placed it on everyone's plates but when it was my turn she cuts it and then drop the fork on the table crab the slice into her palm and placed it on my plate I feel not good about it then I crabbed the prime rib and through it out eat something else, 20 minutes later I went back and waiting the prime rib 3 or 4 people in front of me and she used the fork to place the meat on their plates but it was my turn she looks directly at me drop the fork on the table crab the meat put on my plate but I was very upset I refuse to take the meat then I went back to the manager and reports the incident why TURNING STONE employed someone that racist against the Asin people read more
