This buffet was a surprise that I wasn't expecting! We stopped on the way through to the Catskills right after we got out of Syracuse. The buffet was beautiful and clean. The waitress and host were top notch. It was a little confusing at first in order to check in and pay with the kiosk, but once you did it, it made sense. There was soooo much food and reminded me of what I would put out in culinary school for presentations so it was familiar to me! I loved getting a classic creme brulee in a small bite-sized format, perfect for a diabetic like me to get a little nibble. They also had a few other lower-sugar options. A fantastic place to take the family on a special occasion, but it was a bit pricey so I wouldn't go every day!

06.23.2024 Sunday @4:30pm Walk-in table of 3. One of the worst buffet I ever been to. Very common option. Only seafood source was shrimp, scallop and mussels. Service is great tho. The star is for the service.

I gave 4 stars because it's a buffet, and well how much do you really expect out of buffet. They had a great selection of American, Asian, and middle eastern cuisine. I tried a little of everything and wasn't disappointed. The seafood which seems to be what draws people in wasn't up to standards. It was good quality seafood but the steamed clams had no flavor and tasted like they were just boiled in plain water, not even a pinch of salt was added. I thought the butter would help give them a little flavor but the butter they use tasted like movie theatre butter and I just didn't enjoy that. The oysters had no brine to them at all, they tasted like they were straight out of a fresh water river. I did like the shrimp cocktail and I also liked the clams with the spicy tomato sauce. The best thing of the night was the desserts, specifically the warm apple crumble. They had a great selection. For the price, I have no complaints. Our server was awesome and friendly, and made sure to keep our table clear and drinks replenished. This would be a good night out with the family since there is something for every taste bud. I'd return

We came here for my sisters 21st birthday for the first time. There are a lot of different varieties of food to offer; a great salad bar, fantastic cuts of meat, and a delectable array of desserts. Service was attentive but not over bearing.

Dessert, highly recommend Mexican flan! And the lava cake! Amazing!!!

Amazing service! Not your typical buffet, the food was good you can really tell that they really put a lot of effort in it! The presentation was fabulous! Highly recommend. Oh by the way there is a line so you might wanna come 30 mins before they open.

The food here looked incredible! The small amount of food that I got to eat WAS incredible!! I'm NOT complaining at all!! But the BEST part to me, as someone who cannot eat dairy/gluten, was the fact that they had labels above each dish telling you what the dish is AND what allergens it contains. This alone was AMAZING to me!! Everywhere should have these! The staff was very friendly, the place is HUGE, and the food was amazing! The price seemed worth it to me and literally all I could actually eat was salad and the meats. If you are someone who can't eat dairy/gluten, like myself, then I suggest you don't come here, as the options were very limited, but if you like meat, salad, and have a positive outlook on life, then by all means go enjoy it like I did!! I also suggest being first in line when they open, as they fill up rather quickly and can become super busy in the matter of minutes. Either way, I enjoyed my experience here!

Cute crab shack ambience, it's a hot spot so order or arrive before the dinner crowd. My first visit was a Saturday around 6 and it was crowded and not a seat to be had! All the seafood platters being served looked amazing, so I knew I was in the right spot! I was greeted as I approached the counter and was assisted with my take out and recommended popular party sack combinations. I ordered #3 which includes a lobster tail, one cluster or 1/2 lb snow crab, 1/2 lb shrimp (I recommend requesting Head Off!) a piece of corn, and 2-3 potatoes. I chose Cajun seasoning and, very hot spice. Warning you best be a very spicy hot lover, it was challenging but loved it! I have already returned for a second time, also #3 sack added extra corn $3 and extra potatoes $3. CrabnGo special seasoning and still extra hot! Delicious not as over the top as Cajun Hot! $47 and change with the added corn and potatoes. $42 and change without. Only one quarter piece of corn first order and two potatoes. Love it! It's going to be dangerous now that I've tried this Cajun Seafood that makes you feel like you are in the Bayou! And the heat that matches!

The Food: Fried Artichoke Hearts ($7.50): Not crispy at all and very greasy. The dipping sauce lacked seasoning and just tasted like heavy oil. Snow Crab Legs ($39): 4/5 stars. A little overcooked, but overall tasty and the highlight of the meal. Fried Fish Sandwich ($11) & Fries: The bread on the sandwich was delicious, but both the fish and the fries were incredibly greasy. This spot is always packed and clearly has a loyal following, so I don't know what happened during our visit. I usually adhere to a three-strike rule before judging a restaurant, but the food was heavy enough that we won't be returning.

The fried clam strips are absolutely a must. They are getting hard to find around the country and it is a pleasure to be able to get them when in Utica. They are seasoned just right. The oysters were a bit small, but very fresh and served with wonderful accompaniments. The haddock was perfectly cooked. And everyone at my table seemed pleased with the full variety of this most satisfying menu. Coffee and dessert were very nice. No cappuccino or espresso, but that's not why you come to this delightful seafood restaurant. I will continue to come back when I am in Utica.

Even with how crowded it was, the service was absolutely top notch from start to finish. Attentive, professional, and well-paced without ever feeling rushed. The ambiance is classic upscale steakhouse with a modern feel, lively but still comfortable enough for conversation, making it a great spot for a business dinner or group outing. We enjoyed bottles of great red Merlot, which paired perfectly with the meal and added to the overall experience. We started with a Caesar salad that was very fresh and served with anchovies, which in my opinion is what makes a true Caesar and it did not disappoint. I ordered the sea bass, which had a really cool presentation and was cooked nicely. It felt elevated and thoughtfully prepared. The lobster bisque looked beautiful presentation-wise but was just okay in flavor. It lacked depth and richness and I found myself rushing through it. The family-style sides were excellent and more than enough for our party of six. The creamed spinach and mushrooms were both very good and everyone at the table loved them. As for the steaks, everyone was extremely happy. Our group tried a variety of the available cuts and each one was cooked properly and thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, TS Steakhouse delivered a great dining experience with excellent service, strong ambiance, quality food, and standout sides. I would definitely return, especially for a group dinner or special occasion.
