I love this Walgreens, and especially the Pharmacy. Maria and Linsey (Main pharmacist) are the…read moreepitome of customer service - something Walgreens the enterprise as a whole has lost its soul. Not this location. Pharmacy : I have been to so many Pharmacies where it is chaotic. Patients and consumers are on edge, and the staff have to "ask a supervisor" making things slow just like the "healthcare ecosystem" But the real MVPs are in the pharmacy. These folks run the place like a well-oiled (and very patient) machine. They're efficient, kind, and even manage to make the whole "waiting for your prescription" thing oddly tolerable. If pharmacies gave out Michelin stars, this one would at least get a solid nomination. Interior & Staff outside of Pharmacy: Stepping into this Walgreens feels like walking into a well-lit cave of convenience -- bright, clean, and with just enough background music to make you forget why you came in. The non-pharmacy staff are a friendly bunch who somehow manage to juggle stocking shelves, scanning coupons, and helping lost souls like me find batteries, all with impressive calm. Layout & Inventory: The layout isclear. Call it tight, but people (demographic is hispanic and very diverse) are not on edge and will move out of way. I have seen people dance to the music. Walgreens: snacks next to shampoo (because why not), a seasonal aisle that's always one holiday ahead, and a clearance section that feels like a treasure hunt designed by a caffeine enthusiast. Everything's easy enough to find once you stop being distracted by the candy displays. Found some amazing dog treats at half off. Thank you - specific to this Walgreens

Note: just moved around here literally yesterday 7/26 with my wife…read more ACME Markets is what I'd call a "convenience over conquest" type of grocery store. Is it pristine? No. Is it Trader Joe's charming? Not really. But is it right down the street from me with decent inventory and zero cart jousting in crowded aisles? Absolutely. But that's really all it has to- distance and inventory is solid. Everything else... Inside of Store: The store layout is actually pretty spacious. I didn't feel like I had to do yoga to grab a carton of eggs. Inventory? Decent. Not every shelf was Instagram-ready, but I found what I needed. Checkout? No horror stories here. Did self checkout. Though, to be fair, I didn't test the customer service waters -- I was on a stealthy mission after reading the reviews. I predict when I do deal with them (and yes I can speak Spanish too, just like my mandarin), I'll test it out and come back with an updated one because... there is no room for any of that. Items, Food and Prices: Prices made me do a double take. Some of the produce looked like it needed emotional support, but was priced like it had a spa day. I went with Roma tomatoes because the regular ones... not worth it. Save farmers market Fridays for your vegetables. We got a cilantro because... why not but that was even above average I've seen. Some chips, exact ones are almost 40% off either online or through other channels. Trader Joe's in South Bay Mountain View, Ca had better prices, by a mile. Addressing other reviews: I've read the concerns about staff interactions -- while I didn't experience any of that myself, I also didn't engage with any. I won't speak for others' experiences, but I will say that management should definitely read these reviews and reflect. Perception matters, and I believe they are doing right by making people self check more, but it was clear the place didn't have a strong management structure. I am looking forward to the day I speak to any of the customer service people. If they want to go toe to toe in Spanish - Leggo. I'll come here and explain exactly what they said. Bottom line: Come here if you live nearby, have low grocery store drama tolerance, and want a clean enough place that doesn't require crossing a river. Don't come expecting Costco joy or Trader Joe's wizardry. Bonus tip: If you're buying avocados, squeeze wisely. Some are ready for guac. Others are ready for retirement. Same goes for any of the produce
