Trader Joe's is a must no matter where I visit in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut. You never know when a particular location will have an item in stock or not. Merchandise is usually the same at each location. This is a nice store. The first stop for me is always the cards. My Yelp friends send me the cards and I try to buy a bunch when I get to TJ's. I say get in to see the individual decor at each neighborhood location. They personalize their stores so it's fun to visit them and get a tote. I've got some from several places!! read more

We love going to Trader Joe's from everything with snacks, to groceries, and more. We haven't gone here as often as we used to, however when we do I know there are new snacks or certain products out for a limited time or in season. Staff continues to be helpful and friendly. Bring your own reusable bag or purchase one at the store. One of my Trader Joe's reuseable bags lasted for many years until I had a hole in it. Used it so much, worth it towards the end. Always a good time here, see you next time at Trader Joe's. read more

Stopped by this Trader Joe's location when visiting a friend... went to pick up some drinks and stuff. Besides the usual items, they do have new items from time to time and seasonal items as well. Wow, the Trader Joe canvas bags are so popular! Not sure why...but they are. Lines are too bad the couple of times I have come here but they do go quick. Staff is helpful if one needs to find something. read more

The good thing about Trader Joe's is they will take anything back. I recently bought a sauce called Truffle Piccante Spicy Pasta Sauce that will definitely be going back. It is at once the best sauce ever with the truffle taste and then you get the cumin and it is the worst. Why ruin such a good sauce with cumin? I was so grossed out I had to dump all the pasta out. I also tried the Turkey Pot Pie that was at first too sweet but then I grew to like it and there's nothing to return. I ate it all. The guy next to the cheese is so passionate about cheese that I love listening to him talk about cheese. Foodies unite! read more

I used to love this Trader Joe's! I live nearby and this was always my go to spot. Lately, the employees seem like they don't want to be bothered. Especially the people who sit behind the desk (manager I'm guessing). This one lady, plump, round with lots of tattoos made me feel extremely discriminated against today. She literally followed me around the store and when I asked her why she threatened to kick me out the store for being rude! That is laughable. I'm not going to this store anymore. It's a shame because I literally used to love this place. read more

Not much of variety, product offerings, and a bit pricey vs other supermarkets. Not sure what people see in this chain, but its definitely not for me. Not coming back again to this or any other Trader Joes read more

I love Trader Joe's, but lately it become way worse than used to be. Several time got spoiled food, many times they run out of some organic products. When I asked about management seems they don't care , so service is not that used to be , plus store overcrowded, many times trying to avoid this location read more

I was visiting from California and needed to find a TJ. This one is right next to the Hudson River. It has a smaller selection than those on the west coast and does not have a liquor section. read more

I know a lot of people are huge Trader Joe's fans. I'm only newly jumping on the bandwagon. I come to this shopping plaza in Edgewater often and it conveniently has lots of parking. My husband has always loved TJs, especially their frozen meals selection (it is pretty impressive, I must say). I always found TJ enthusiasts to be a little elitist (sometimes cultish, even) but I can see the appeal. They have a really wide variety of products for people with special tastes and different diets. I found the flavor offerings to be very unique and interesting. Even the frozen meals are restaurant grade quality, which I can't say about others grocery stores with their own line. My experience at this store in particular was pretty good. It was a little crowded when I arrived on Saturday evening but the store was pretty intuitive to navigate. The aisles are wide and the store associates are constantly tidying up so nothing is out of place. The people who work at the store are friendly and helpful too. I've only been here a few times and I don't come here to do my main groceries, usually just fill in items, so I can't speak to the prices too much. I think the frozen meal prices are very reasonable. Some of their snack foods and meats looked a little more expensive though. I can see why people like it though- the quality is very good. A few things to know before you go: - with limited exceptions, they only carry the TJ brand -there's no self checkout -they don't use grocery bags (paper or plastic) b it you can purchase a reusable bag at checkout read more

There are so many non service dogs in here! Spoke to mangers and they tell me nothing can be done. Need to have a health inspector in here!

This is still my favorite Trader Joe's! I actually travel a few extra miles to get here. They usually have the items I'm looking for in stock. I have to say today I had a good experience made even better by the associate/cashier Amy! She is a treasure and such a sweet soul! Trader Joe's continues to set the standard in customer service! (Thanks also to the young man working near Amy for going in back and finding an item I wanted to try! ) read more

I absolutely love coming to this Trader Joe's , it's one of the three locations closest to me but the parking situation is why it wins every single time. Also the staff is amazing. Everyone always has a smile on their face and is helpful. I completely get the layout of this Trader Joe's which is why it works for me. While the store itself may be busy, there is never a line and the cashiers always ensure to build a relationship with you based on your groceries. Sometimes they even make suggestions for your next trip, which as a foodie of course I'm going to write it down. read more

TJ's at Edgewater Probably the ONLY store in the neighborhood Bergen County that is still enforcing social distancing outside (11/24/2020). Most are no longer. But, inside the TJ's, it was quite crowded. read more

Love Love Trader Joe's and glad there is one in the hood! We always love to go there to get our favorites and also to see what new items are added periodically. It's not huge so there is usually a line of people to go in due to social distancing during the pandemic; however, line does move pretty quickly. Staff was friendly and someone was always outside to clean the carts for people to use. How nice and thoughtful!! Its frozen food section is the best. We love the Korean BBQ short ribs, Mandarin orange chicken, and soup dumplings. And the frozen desserts are simply addictive!! Our recently great find includes the Bulgogi fried rice with Kimchi and I can't wait to try the mussels! Prices are very reasonable and portion is perfect for 1-2 people. Staff was always friendly and restrooms were available. Ample parking available. There are also some great restaurants in the area with a fantastic view of Hudson River and NYC Skyline. Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Pizza, Japanese and a coffee shop so the choice is yours. Welcome to Edgewater NJ!! read more

This is one of the nearest Trader Joe's to me and that's why i come here all the time. It can get busy inside but i never have to wait in a line to get in which is what i love. Every time i come, i just walk in. They have a large selection of goodies, specially in the frozen food section which is my favorite. Every time i go i always find something i want to try. The other day i bought almond biscotti (delicious) Can't forget the friendly staff. The person ringing me out is always friendly. I will continue coming here to do some food shopping. read more

After lunch, I visited this store in the same strip mall as the restaurant. I was pretty amazed on the variety of international cuisines offered here and the prices are so reasonable. I love this Trader Joe. I have been to many other Trader Joe's and always come back here for my regular grocery shopping. I think it has a lot to do with the amazing location it is in - right next to the water and I never have to fight for parking (except if you go during peak hours). My one suggestion to the store and I know it applies to all TJs - is the location of flowers in the store. There's always a crowd stopping there and it being next to produce creates a big bottleneck. But I think that's how all TJs are. I love their frozen food aisle - Mandarin chicken, cacio e Pepe, their cauliflower pizza, Indian food and the matcha green tea ice cream (check out how cheap it is!). The shawarma chicken thighs are convenient when I am lazy to cook but still want a healthy meal. Also don't miss out on their $1 gift card (why pay more?) and their highly rated sunscreen (at least 30% cheaper than name brands). There are large communities of TJ fans online who will share their TJ hacks and reviews of new products. My current favorite food combination is creating my own filet o fish - frozen breaded tilapia (air fried), American cheddar, tartar sauce and a burger bun. read more

OMG, I wish I lived near this trader Joes because I loved this store and the experience. The store is so big and spacious. You can walk around without bumping into other people and see all of the products freely. Wow, wow and wow, I was just so amazed at how neat and organized everything was in this store compared to the store I frequent in Queens, NY-Metropolitan Ave. The parking lot is huge and you didn't have to wait for someone to leave. wow. I noticed they had different products that I haven't seen in other trader joes or maybe just missed because its always so crowded in the NYC stores I visit. For example, I purchased some freaking pretzel bagels that I loveddddd and never saw before. I also picked up some ginger cookies for a friend who has been looking for them for awhile. The staff were friendly and helpful. I used the bathroom which was clean and just wished this was my local store. I will definitely return to this trader joes which is also right across the street from the amazing spa facility, SoJo. read more

I'm a Trader Joe's fan and occasionally shop at this location on a weekday morning. Although this is generally a well stocked store, when I can't find something or have a question, I rarely see a crew member on the floor and have to go to the front of the store to customer service to inquire. In the last year, they moved the coffee close to the front of the store but left the coffee grinder at the back of the aisle. So you have to get your coffee and then wheel your cart to the back of the store to grind it. Why? There's no logical reason. When you go to check out, there may be only one or two checkouts staffed. So you get on line after another customer. Another crew member opens a checkout and instead of taking someone on line, they sometimes take a customer who only then walks up to the checkout. If you're only going to open a checkout when there are customers waiting, then you should have a single checkout line so that customers are taken in order. There are not reusable bags for sale at checkout. They are all grouped in a single area. read more

Really cool, unique and interesting products over here at Trader Joe's! They have the best snack and the prices are affordable. I discovered white truffle potato chips and only $2.99 stroopwaffels here! Checking out was made easy for my friends and I who merged all of our stuff in one shopping cart. The cashier who nice to help us separate it by grabbing us another basket. Thanks! read more

My go to grocery spot in NJ! This is probably one of my favorite Trader Joe's in the US. - It has amazing employee's - It is in a great location - It has a wonderful selection Every time I stay in Edgewater I go here before I go anywhere else. Stay awesome Trader Joe's!!! read more

This location had good selections, reasonable prices, clean space, super friendly and helpful staff members. Beware if you're driving though because it is hard to find parking at certain times of the day. You'll need to park further and walk which isn't too bad unless you're buying a ton of groceries. Currently obsessed with Trader Joe's new product, "plantain crisps - crispy plantain slices" and it seems like everyone else is as well because it goes out of stock so quickly. It is so good, you won't be able to stop munching away! If you're lucky enough to pick up a bag, let me know what you think! And if you're not a plantain chip kinda person (which is ok), give their cold brew a try! read more

I love Trader Joe's. You can't beat the prices and I love so many TJ staples like the cauliflower gnocchi, mushroom pasta, pumpkin butter, kale spinach dip, etc. This location is definitely better than the Hoboken store in terms of inventory, layout, and customer service. However, it gets pretty crowded, especially on Sundays, so don't expect to get in and out quickly just due to the amount of people there. Still, the employees are very helpful and efficient, so it's as seamless as it can be. read more

This TJ is not as big as some of the other locations. That doesn't mean you are missing out. I love going here because the location has ample parking, it does not get overcrowded, and the staff is super friendly. It's very neat and clean as well and that is always a bonus! They have a good selection of fresh produce and it is kept up well. I have yet to go here and have a bad experience. Keep up the great work! read more

I love Trader Joe's! That being said, this location is wonderful. I always find what I need, and I'm in and out of the store quickly. During the winter months I sometimes even stop in during my lunch break, and leave my food in the car. (I only do this when the temperature outside is colder then the inside of my refrigerator, LOL) Stopping in on the weekend is something I try to avoid as it is often crowded. I usually stop in during the week directly after work. The best part about shopping at Trader Joe's is that I feel like I never make random purchases. I always buy exactly what I need to, and I'm in and out of the store rather quickly. I'd definitely recommend this location! read more

Trader Joe's is literally my favorite place ever. Affordable, healthy, unique options for groceries and snacks! Be prepared for a lot of exclamation points because homegirl is exciteddd... I haven't been here since May! I didn't realize until I was chatting with the cashier. My man Ary was so sweet and friendly. I love befriending all of the workers there. They are just very down to earth. They also are very helpful when you have a question about just about anything. Nice to note that there are no longer mile long lines out the door at this location. That was mainly what deterred me from frequenting Traders during much of 2020. Aint nobody got time for that! Seeing as I haven't been there in quite some time, I went a little ham and bought everything in sight. No surprise there. Let me just tell you a few highlights! New salad kits that I haven't seen before! Stocked up on quite a few for my 2021 "diet". Don't worry, I'll still be dining out for my fellow Yelpers :) I also saw that they have a new item I haven't seen before, instant cold brew!! What whatttt. I am obsessed with their instant Columbian coffee but I have a really good feeling this new item will quickly take its place. Bought 4 bottles in faith (and also a strong vote of confidence from a worker there). I also grabbed a few packages of chicken bone broth as an upgrade to my usual chicken stock. Excited to try that in my cooking and reap the added health benefits of bone broth! I also picked up their soft baked snickerdoodles....(ok forget the diet). Last but not least, I made sure to grab a few ingredients for charcuterie boarding tonight!! I recommend their cheese sampler to get a nice variety of cheeses. Trader Joe's is my favorite place to get charcuterie ingredients. My deepest apologies to Traders for cheating on them these past few months. I will never abandon you again! heh heh read more

By far my favorite TJs store. Staff are consistently awesome. This store has a good layout, and love that you can hit up Whole foods just down the road. I wonder if this tj hires someone who's racist against Asian looking customers. I tried to use my $5 gift card but was told there's no money in it. Tried to explain but staff Rohini, being extremely disrespectful, glanced at me up and down then said something like, well, anyone can say she has 50 bucks in it, but you can't prove it, can you. When I insisted on getting a solution, she's like purposefully having trouble getting my words, saying things like, what, say that again, I can't hear you. I was furious then store manager offered me a free bunch of flowers - trying to kicking me out of store - but I refused.
