In years and years, I had maybe one minor hiccup with getting my prescriptions filled here. I don't know what changed, but suddenly, it's absolutely gone to shit. For example: They've worked just fine with a particular prescriber for years. I've had no issues whatsoever with him, but suddenly they're insisting it's his fault they don't have my meds ready. Turns out, they randomly started faxing his phone line! His contact info didn't change, so wtf happened?? I just corrected their info - again. If they screw this up a third time, I won't give them a chance to endanger my health ever again. I get blatantly contradictory info from the person who answers the phone vs. the pharmacist, and from one pharmacist vs. another (or whoever they are - they don't even bother to tell you who you're dealing with, most of the time). Then they all just pass the buck - they clearly care about defending their egos, as individuals, more than they care about the patient who they all, as a pharmacy, are harming at that very moment. I'm now without an essential medication, yet again, solely because no one there can be bothered to do their freaking job right. They can't be bothered to show any hint of basic human compassion, either. They've repeatedly endangered my health and well-being, and apparently don't give a damn. Coming here was, at first, a massive relief - I'd just left a hell-hole where this sort of thing was the norm. I only left when they escalated from being merely incompetent to unconscionably negligent, after giving them way, way too many chances. I will not make that mistake again. Honestly, this place doesn't deserve one last chance - so they're sure as hell not getting any more.

The doctor sent my prescription to a pharmacy I've used but turns out they only fill dermatologist prescriptions. The dr tells me to call the pharmacy and have them send it to another pharmacy to make things quicker. I call the pharmacy and they say protocol is the receiving pharmacy should call to retrieve the scripts. I call Bergen ave drugs as it's next to where I live, and explain the situation. I asked them to call SIP ave pharmacy to retrieve the prescription for me and fill it. The man on the phone asked me what the name of the medication was but I was unsure. He said "so you don't know the name?" As if I didn't just say that I didn't know the name of the medication. He went on to say I should find out the name so he doesn't waste his time. So I asked, in disbelief, "so you can't call them to get the prescription for me?" He repeated the fact that it will be a waste of time if I don't know the name. THANKS FOR NOTHING. I told him I'll use a different pharmacy. A waste of time ?!?! I can't believe he said that. I'm sorr, I thought u were paid to be at work, my apologies for trying to get a pain medication filled while I'm at work and in massive pain. I won't ever waste this pharamacys time again. I usually go in there to purchase little things here and there because it's not a chain pharmacy but a neighborhood one, and I like that. but at this point I'd rather go to CVS or Walgreens, they wouldn't think helping me is a waste of time.
