I've given this location several tries. However, I have had the same experience and come to the same conclusions each time. Firstly, the lines for the pharmacy, as well as the checkout, are agonizingly long. This location seems to rely on self-checkout rather than allowing you to deal with a real human, despite the multiple registers that sit unoccupied. At least one self-checkout register is always inoperable, making the lines longer. The pharmacy staff do not appear to see you, despite you standing right in front of them. Vaccination check-in process was confusing, despite having an appointment. Had to approach staff for assistance. My father, who is older and not tech savvy, never would have been able to complete the process for a vaccination had I not been with him. What about other older folks who don't have a family member to help? Prices are expensive. Much more so than other similar stores. Grooming products, for example, cost significantly more here. $12 for body wash when I can get two for $17 elsewhere. Store feels shabby. Although relatively new, it looks beat up. Staff could be friendlier. They seem overwhelmed. read more

Our pharmacist should be available for questions and she was not interested is helping me, with a horrible attitude! This pharmacist should be dealt with about her terrible customer service. My doctor recommended I get my prescription from here and I actually found out why I found a parking spot almost at the door and was in and out in minutes. They (the doctor) electronically sent my prescription and they immediately filled it, it was ready and waiting for me to pick it up not like another local pharmacy I used in the past. All I did was say picking up at the counter and they said "birthday please" and just handed me my prescription. My insurance must have been attached to the doctors prescription because they didn't charge me anything. Bigger CVS - great, pharmacy - not great. - my Dr sent my daily RX - didn't hear anything. Called and was told it wouldn't be filled until a later date based on when I picked up the last one. Would have appreciated being proactively told that instead of finding out when I got there, but ok. - waited until the later date I was given to pick it up - didn't hear anything. Called for follow up and told it was on back order, wouldn't be available until soonest the end of the week. Mind you this is a daily RX that my doctor sent ahead of time to avoid this issue, but ok. - waited until the end of the week for status - didn't hear anything. Called for follow up and was told it was still on back order and to try Monday. - it is Monday, on the phone with them now. Over a week past when it was supposed to be available, currently have none of my prior RX left, it is still on backorder and they have no idea when it will come available. I was told to check with another CVS. I asked if they could see in their system if there's another CVS with this RX instead of me calling every CVS in New Jersey. I was on hold for 15 minutes only to have someone completely different finally pick up, ask for my information again, and was told they'd call me back. It's now the second week without my RX that I need daily and gave them well in advance. This pharmacy has all of the downsides of a big chain pharmacy with limited benefits of being a big brand. They should be more proactive in reaching out to their patients, and also come with solutions (ex let me know another pharmacy that might have the RX). It's unfortunately convenient to my home, so will need to use until I find a more reliable and customer service friendly pharmacy in the area. read more

Went pick up a prescription after minor surgery. This was the closest CVS on my way to New York. Store itself had a good selection of items, well stocked and i.e. seemed clean. The bathroom was nothing to write home about. It was not the cleanest bathroom I had seen. Prescription was quoted to be ready in 20 mins, and I waited in-store, but it was more like 50 minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting, I was told it'd be another 20. The lines were not that long, and it moved at an okay pace. This place is okay to grab and go like other places. I was checking out via self checkout and trying to use two separate cards to purchase items, and to use coupons I had. The woman working came to me and takes the receipt out of my hand without saying anything, after I was done only purchasing the first half, and notified me all items weren't on there. Mind you I did not look like I was leaving what so ever. Well duh it wasn't all on there yet? I was making two separate purchases and was not finished? This was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would never leave without paying for all items, especially in a store I go to weekly. Also, why would I not pay for items when this self check out was right next to the main register? It's ok as far as CVS goes. Self checkout is usually easiest but they are down quite a bit. When that happens the regular line is usually pretty long. Employees are ok too. Love this cvs 24 hours cashiers and multiple self check out machines they have so many things there everything is affordable the people who work there are great the pharmacy department is awesome as well they help you out and get you in and out with in 5 to 10 minutes also so so friendly and helpful so many deals with your extra care card as well! There is a photo department and a Kodak machine inside that you can download the Kodak app and send your pictures to the machine off your camera roll and facebook the machine is really easy to use the pictures come out great and it's a good price for pictures! Huge parking lot as well so many spaces it's in a plaza so there's other good places to stop along the way! read more

CVS pharmacy SUCKS!!! I've been trying to get my novolog since feb 28th!!! They didn't have enough to give me in order for my insurance to cover it! So they said they would order it. I spoke to Nelson before going back he said they had it. Then I got there they still didn't have enough! Only 7 viles on hand. So they put in the rest of the order for me. I went back to get it. Steven said that they didn't have it yet even though I got the call to come get my meds here we are 3/18 and back at this shit hole and still no INSULIN! I cried after I cursed their stupid ass employees out and left!!! I don't understand these people!!! How can you give away a medication consigned to someone??? I'm so pissed off! The worst when it comes through helping the customer. The self check out station is a hassle. Tried to pay with credit. Machine failed to read both of my cards. Which are good and working. But the bratty young girl working there simply just told me "Oh it's your cards" she could care less about helping a customer or her job. Cards worked perfectly the rest of the night. Please do not try to get help if you are from out of town. They won't lift an extra finger. Called in scripts, they couldn't get a vacation override. Then, they filled a couple prescriptions, but not all. They kept asking the same questions over and over again. The place is filthy on the floor. If you are looking to fill a prescription and aren't a patient who regularly fills prescriptions you fill it here with the expectations that they will not have your prescription in stock and will order it for tomorrow. I have see three patients have the same experience. While the staff is okay, I don't think they know any better on how an efficient pharmacy is suppose to work, or it may just be a corporate policy not to have too much in stock. Also, if you come with a coupon that's on your phone they will not honor it. It needs to be a hard copy. Store seems okay as far as organization but lacks an inviting pharmacy area and management seems tired of unhappy customers. Also if you call in to have something refilled, don't be surprised if they refill another prescription from the one you requested. If you need something quick it's okay, but if you need a prescription save your time and call ahead to see if they carry your medication before you're disappointed. read more

Used to be great, now sub-par. Hate that they placed a loud lady in checkout aisle to direct customers to the self-service pay, even when I am the only one in the checkout line. Last night, the new cashier refused to give my $35 cash back after I swiped my debit card already saying he will run out of the cash i if he gives me the money I already paid for. How's that my problem? Are they kidding? Idiots abound this store. Upon the changing of the pharmacy hours and staff I unfortunately must say I am taking by business elsewhere. With the exception of Jorge and the gentleman with the blonde hair ( I apologize for not knowing your name) they are a pleasure, everyone else however has been extremely difficult to work with. My prescriptions are rarely ever ready and there seems to always be an issue. How does is take cvs 3 weeks to get one of my medications in when I can go across the street to Marra's and get it in 24hrs?! In addition to the neglect and disorganization some pharmacists are absolutely disrespectful, lazy, and unhelpful, including one of the head pharmacists who wouldn't give me the time of day and brushed me off to someone else. There is no professionalism here whatsoever, no consideration, and absolutely no compassion for patients that need these medications for vital health reasons. This pharmacy is a free for all. Pick ups alone can take at least 45 minutes. If you insist on filling your prescriptions here be prepared to waste a day away with no promise that you'll leave with your prescription anyway. read more

I had a very horrible experience with one of the pharmacist here named Puja. She was not informative and to top it she was very arrogant and rude when I wanted to know the reason why I was charged more than my usual co-pay. This is my regular pharmacy and I usually pay 5 dollars as co-pay. This time I was charged 30 bucks. When asked for the reason she said it is the deductible that I had to pay. I went there the next day again asking for if I can return it as there was an over the counter option that came cheaper than this. The same person attended me and she said that's what my insurance has charged me and that the prescription drugs cannot be returned. I even showed her my insurance card and she said that's the same thing they used. And she escalated it to another pharmacist. The second pharmacist also said the same story - this is how your insurance works, this might be the deductible the insurance company is charging you and asked me to contact my insurance (atleast she was polite!!!! - I dont remember her name though). I called my insurance today and they clearly explained that the claim was rejected by the insurance company!!! The reason was that the pharmacy ran the drug though an incorrect manufacturer!!!! Both the pharmacists did not even care to tell me my insurance was rejected. I called the pharmacy today after I spoke to the insurance. The pharmacist in-charge today was able to immediately tell me that it was rejected by the insurance and I was charged through some discount card. This was not even mentioned to me during my first two visits. When I went there in person to collect my refund I was clearly pointed out that in the receipt the insurance name carried the discount card and not my insurance. I dont know what the other two pharmacists were doing when I showed the insurance card to them. And they mislead me by saying that it is my deductible. It took 3 visits and 2 calls for me to sort out the issue and get my refund. I don't know how many people were affected due to this kind of irresponsible behavior; and so I'm writing this review so that other customers need not go through the same issue again. read more

They have pharmacists that make up their own rules as they go along and they are rude and lazy. I have had a,few incidents with them now and I was not writing anything bad because I unfortunately have to use them. But enough is enough. If there is a problem they do not like to call the doctor or insurance company. They tell you, you have to call yourself. I'm sorry when did I become employed by CVS was my response. You don't get paid to do my job and I don't get paid to do your job. On one of the incidents my son had surgery and he needed his pain pills. I dropped off the prescription and was told it was going to be $50 - 75 with insurance. Ok no problem. Wrong. Supposedly there was a problem with the insurance. So they didn't want to call so I called and my ex called and then we were told it was a code problem on cvs side. Our insurance company even complained to us and said they were rude and stupid and lazy. Exact words. No lie. I Told the pharmacist they needed to call insurance even if we called you would never accept any codes or information we gave you. This went on for a week where my son didn't have any pain pills. After a week of going back and forth the pharamicist told me if i need them so bad then i should pay for his pills out of pocket which would have cost $120. Well anyone who knows me knowsi didn't take it lightly. I told him why should i pay for pills out of pocket when I have insurance and because you are too f $!#/&# lazy to do your job. Then I said you know what you pay for my son's pills out of your pocket. Then finally I told them one way or another I am getting these pills today. I called them back in an hour they told me that they resolved the issue and I would only be getting a 5 day supply instead of 30 days that to was a fight. Then they told me it would cost me for 5 days supply $45. I said what kind of math do you use. I was going to get a 30 day supply for $50 - 75 and now I only get a 5 day for $45. What did I fall of the turnip truck. That was a big fight. Then finally we get everything resolved. They also said next time you should have the dr. Write it can be non generic and everything will go smoothly. I told him next time if you stop being lazy and do your job we won't have a problem. Well I just gave him a glance and he knew. They asked when will you be picking it up. I said in 1 hour. Well when I got there 2 hours later they never filled the prescription. So you can imagine I didn't take that lightly either. I then got some vitamins that was buy 1 get 1 free while I was waiting and when they called my name on the speaker I brought my vitamins up to them and as they were checking my prescription and pills out the girl at the register rings up the vitamins atregular price each with no buy 1 get 1 free discount so she charged me for the free ones. I told her nicely they were on sale and it was right there by pharmacy all she had to do was take literally 10 steps to see. So she says sorry but this is what it is ringing up as. Again I told her to look on the shelf and her reply was so if you don't want to pay the price they are ringing up as do you not want them i can easily take them out. i then have had it and said no why are all of you so f$!#ing lazy. Why are you all f $!#ing with me. Get off your lazy ass and go look. She didn't like it looked at the pharmacist, didn't bother to check and just gave me the buy one get 1 free price. Can they be that lazy? YES they can. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Then I had another incident where I had gotten blood pressure pills filled then 4 days later the dr changed it on me. Ok so i went to pick it up they said no it is too soon to pick up the prescription I just got it filled 4 days ago. I said no this is a little different the prescription was changed. So they said no the dr. Didn't send the right one in. So of course the dr was gone so i called the next day again did their job and the dr said no he sent over the right one in the computer. So i called the pharmacy and they said the pharmacist didn't look at the right thing. Oh and I spoke to my son's dr about giving a non generic prescription he said he did write it could be either or. And I know after complaining to friends and family they all had the same experiences. So it's not just I had a few bad days this is who cvs hired. Lazy and rude pharmacists. They need to revamp their whole crew in that department. I am having a very difficult time reaching them by phone. I received a text that medicine was ready. I do not know if that's a mistake or an old refill that I don't need anymore. I have received reminder texts for 3 days and I have been calling them for 3 days to inquire about this medicine and their phone just rings and rings and eventually disconnects. So, I replied Help to the text and got a customer relations phone number. I called that number and the operator who answered got me connected to the store then the store just placed me on hold and left me there for 10 mins and I could hear them shuffling paperwork and the normal noises from the store and the phone system saying "Pharmacy call on line 1" but then they just hung up the call. I think it's time for me to select a new pharmacy maybe try my local Walgreens. This was convenient because it's on my way home from work but, their customer service is lacking some effort. read more
