I grabbed my coffee, talked to a friend, and sat where I could see him just fine. A sour patron told me it's too cold out for him to be "chained up". Of course I'd tied him up as opposed to letting him roam around. Too cold? He's an Aussie with a double coat & the cold doesn't bother him. Five mins later, the manager said he was "crying" for me & I couldn't leave him outside. She does not speak dog. He was barking, but only had a spurt AND the music inside was louder than his bark. At that point, I was done being there. Unsolicited judgement is no friend of mine. If a baby cries, are they so quick to scold the parent? I should hope not. I called corporate & they stated I had not broken any of their guidelines & apologized for the unpleasant experience. There are plenty of pet-friendly coffee shops in the area so I will not be back to this location.
