Brand new 7-Eleven at the corner of Spencerville Road in New Hampshire Ave. Complete with mobile gas, bathrooms, and a seating area inside. Very personable staff. I frequently drive by other 7-11 to get my Mountain Dew refills here. The always have a nice selection of taquitos on the ole grill. Clean, friendly and well stocked. what else do you want from a 7-11.

Female cashier frequently pulls down her mask when she talks to customers and gets them food items.

I'm so glad they brought eggspectation back to the county. I went on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and it was very packed. I believe we waited around 20-30 minutes. I loved everything I ordered! I first ordered their seasonal spiced cranberry mule. It tasted great and was fitting for the season. I also ordered the chicken and waffles and a side of French toast. They have an extensive menu and even have a happy hour. I do plan on coming back to try some of their new menu items and some of my old faves!

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Our drinks took nearly 30 minutes to arrive, and we had already finished our appetizer before they got to the table. We ordered the Cheeky Peach cocktails, but they tasted like alcohol and water with no real flavor. We sent them back and tried the Red Velvet cocktails, only to have the same experience. For $15 drinks, I expected much better, including some flavor and presentation. The salmon was just okay, and the lamb chops weren't memorable. The highlight of the night was the pistachio gelato, which was absolutely delicious and easily the best thing we ordered. I'd be willing to give Eggspectation another chance, but based on this visit, I can't recommend it. Slow service and disappointing cocktails made for a very underwhelming experience.

It felt a little loud, and also off when there was a whole portion of the restaurant that was empty where they weren't doing trivia! We asked to move and were reseated promptly. I ordered the mussels in a garlic-wine sauce. I knew this could be risky because I wasn't sure that's what they were known for, but took the chance anyway, They came out quickly. The server also brought another bowl for the shells with a small fork and spoon. I tried one that had a broken shell and it tasted...off. Like the mussels weren't fresh off. I tried a bite of bread in the sauce and the sauce tasted like nothing. It was very bad. I flagged over the server, explained what was wrong. She promptly took it away and took it off the bill. She asked what I wanted instead, so I went basic and got the 198 burger. It came out a couple minutes later. The burger itself was really tasty, well cooked and well seasoned. It could have used some additional sauce that wasn't mayo but that's personal preference. It came with fries. They were blah, very soggy and greasy, so they were basically untouched. My advice - go simple, and it'll be fine. I'd go back again for another burger, wings, etc but wouldn't go out on a limb again with something more adventurous.
