I cannot believe I see on a continual basis the filth all around the 7-11 store located at 19th street and Pacific Ave. in San Pedro, Ca. ... one cannot even walk from the parking lot without seeing and smelling blithe. This store has gone back to their old habits. When it came time to renew their liquor license, the owners came to the neighborhood councils and asked for a letter of recommendations. We gave that letter to them with conditions.. They keep their surrounding areas clean and free from trash, weeds and debris. The landscape area is to be Well-maintained with no trash. Today's visit was a shock. I know the transients hang out at the bus stop but to let your business go down hill to this degree is unfathomable. Obviously you don't care and you think we deserve this filth. Well I have news for you. Your 7 Eleven is a ghetto and is the worst one in town. You don't deserve to do business here if you can't show pride of ownership, never stepping foot in this store again Until you clean up your act. read more

Since the opening of this 7 Eleven in my neighborhood, the area has gone downhill. The establishment doesn't keep its store clean. The outside is a hot mess with overflowing trahcans and dumped furtiture, currently there's a mattress in their bushes. Management allows for the homless to create a mess and does nothing about it. I've never seen a 7 Eleven in such bad conditions. read more

I have been to this location, maybe 3 times and each time it's been a disappointment. I was never a big fan of 7-Eleven, but I had watched an episode of Undercover Boss and gained a new found respect for the CEO, who seemed to really care for his customers, in addition to his hardworking employees. He seemed to really be focused on getting rid of the problems and ensuring that things ran smoothly. This location however, does not depict that same focus and business sense. I will say that this location is waaaaay better than the one on Gaffey and 1st Street. Even though they also have their share of riff raff hanging out here; as that seems to be something that 7-Eleven notoriously attracts, this one is not as bad. They also have a dedicated parking lot with ample spaces and the building is fairly new. I have gone in here several times, wanting coffee and it's been an issue each and every time. The first time, I went in the evening and they only had one container of coffee brewed and even then, it wasn't the normal one that I would choose. It was hazelnut and while I like it (not love it), I would expect that they would brew a regular plain coffee, too. Even their own exclusive blend would be more preferred. They must have, maybe 8-10 different flavors and they only had one and even then, it was lukewarm. I left and didn't bother to get any. Last week, I got coffee in the morning, no less and it was absolutely cold, even though it sat in a giant warming thermos. Let's just say, I wasn't the only one standing in line to use the microwave to heat my coffee. Fast forward to today, they had NO coffee! Several of us who walked in at the same time headed for the coffee and began preparing our cups, only to find that ALL of the warming thermos' that lined both sides of the counter were all empty. Most people walked down the line trying all of them and only a few had coffee left and even then, they were ice cold. I walked over to the cashier and asked if someone could make some more coffee, because everything is empty over there. She proceeded to tell me that they don't have any coffee AND that the machine is broke. It's kind of a pain in the ass to already stop and grab something, but to find that they don't even have what they're really known for...it's like going to Starbucks and they have no coffee. There were no signs that they were out of coffee or that the machine was broke. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time, instead of us all preparing our cups with sugar and creams only to find that there was no coffee. What a waste of cups! Had a great time shopping here! The cashier is so funny and cool! I couldn't read his name tag because it had a really weird font, it looked like Ashwando or something. But he was honestly really funny and brought a smile to my face with his sense of humor. Lol As soon as we walked in he yelled, "thank you for shopping at 711!" I was ready to give this place a 5 stars until I went in and realized that they coffee selection is nothing like the one on 1st and gaffey,(epic fail) the creamer selection is limited and the food behind the glass looks real ancient. Comical that there's a security guard on duty during normal hours. I want the security guard to be present during the graveyard shift when its creepy around there with bums,drunks from the bar and other unmentionables at the bus stop but there is no bus running Southbound after around 07:30pm This is the closest store and most convenient to go to. Going up the street to 25th and Western is just a few minutes out if the way but in a nicer and safer part of town. The store clerks at the 1900 Pacific Ave location are nice and kind. They should be able to do their job in a safe environment not in fear of a crazy nut coming in. Protect your loyal customers and employees by having the presence of late night security guard there. Having that security company vehicle parked right at the front door makes the store much more welcoming in the middle of the night when us normal people need to run in for some milk, soda, chips or smokes. I came in years ago (maybe 8) right after the store was robbed and the poor store clerk was there crying and said to me "that's life" No! That's not life! Life is a box of cereal. read more

Not a sanitary place to get fresh food. I've seen the frozen food sit on the floor outside the freezer from the time it's delivered (10pm/11pm) until morning shift arrives and refreezes it. Not by choice(owner insist that it's fine).???I seen people by a sandwich in the morning and bring it back later that night,,...Saying it taste funny. The sandwich was 5 days pass the expiration date....many times this has happened. The owner doesn't eat meat, so he seems not to care. Just making money with no regards to the public's health. How do they pass an Health Inspection??? What I have seen first hand.....there is NO WAY they should have passed on numerous occasions. If you saw the backroom sinks alone, you would puke....I know. Have given this location too many chances. Gotta be the worst one I've ever been to. They never...ever....have any iced tea. They have empty containers, but never anything in them. Place is consistently dirty, out of stock and the afternoon/evening staff is so unprofessional that it's amazing that they have a job. The last straw was getting an iced coffee that when I got in my car and took a sip, tasted like rancid milk. Almost threw up. My kids go to school down at Point Fermin, but I'll drive all the way up 25th so as to not subject them to the aggressive homeless out front, or the foul mouthed clerks inside. As an insult to injury, they don't even offer the same discount on 2 packs of cigarettes as all the other 7-Eleven stores I've been to. Dirty, nasty, rude....and charge more? Bye....bye! The worst one in pedro. Outside ALWAYS has homeless outside, outside hasn't been power washed probably since they owned just a few years ago, the floors are always dirty, the employees will overcharge for refills on drinks, and employees either never smile or are on drugs. All the employees I've encountered here are so rude and disrespectful. It's not the customers fault that there's only one person heading the store. As we were walking into the store( my mother and I) the cashier was walking out. I noticed the line but I didn't notice that he was the only one in the store. I was grabbing a quick drink and my mother was going to exchange her lotto tickets. We got in line quickly but the line had not moved at all. All of the sudden, the same dude I saw walking out as I was walking in comes running into the store and starts rushing people out. I paid for my drinks and my mother behind me handed him the lotto tickets, he quickly gave her the dirtiest look and said " you wait til the line goes down this takes while" and got so mad and said no she can't please give her tickets back, he said I'm sorry but the line is long.
