Great customer service every time I come in. Very friendly workers. Today I went in to buy a slurpee but there coke was out. The cashier was very apologetic about not having the product. I suggested they get banana or pina colada nd he said they're limited on what they can order he was very nice nd said they were flavors he liked as well. This 7-11 has the best service by far! read more

Not feeling this location. Came in to redeem my free coffee that I got sent via email and the manager refused to accept it. He was confused, took my phone, looked at it, and then deleted it saying that he's not part of that promo. Couldn't believe it because it's a 7/11 promo. Rather than going back and forth, I just left the coffee I had already made and jumped back in my car. I would say that the place was relatively clean. Not too much boxes or product out to be put away. There were a handful of spots to park. Prices for the other items they sold weren't bad. There's a handful of 7/11 or convenience stores in the area, I'll go to those ones moving forward. read more

So I love 7-11 because I can use their atm and not get charged fees. So this 7-11 like all others have nice cool a/c which is very nice right now during this heat wave. The prices aren't that bad for a convenience store but it's not down right cheap either. I've been coming more often because the 7-11 on University near the 805 has closed down. I don't have a problem with this place and I even have a favorite employee here. read more

Oh my. What happened to the very friendly clerks who used to work here? Did the owner sell when he found out he would probably lose most of his customers east of I-805 when the new enhanced 7-Eleven on 35th & ECB opened a few months ago. My visit was mid afternoon on Thursday, September 9, 2021. I know she was of India or Pakistani descent and she deserves some respect. But she didn't even understand a simple question like, "Do you carry any sandwich spreads like jelly or peanut butter?" And she mumbled thru her facemask and moreover seemed bothered by my need for customer service. I predict she'll be gone by the end of the month because she seems so unhappy to be there. I miss the old staff. I wonder if they moved to the new 7-11 on 35th? read more

So the gang and I were on a bike ride around North Park one night and we decided to take a break 'cause we were parched from the shenanigans of the evening. "Let's get root-beer!" I suggested "Hmmm, root-beer sounds good, but so does chocolate milk." Brian retorted. "Hey! I know where we can get both.... Let's go to seven E!" "Sweet!" Brian said. "Coo" Elena chimed in. We arrived at 7-Eleven and got our beverages and posted it up outside with our bicycles. We looked very tough indeed, with our arms crossed, one leg up, drinking our A&W Root-Beer in front of the store. Customers that walked in would rush through the door avoiding eye contact. We were a motley crew indeed. A stoned pair of hippies came into the store and bought two pints of Ben and Jerry's; Phish Food at that. "I'm so sure!" Damn cliche hippies. I noticed a couple sitting in a car in front of the store. The lady who appeared to be in her late 40's was helping the much younger passenger shoot up. 'Perhaps he is a diabetic and needs his insulin' I wondered. Then they dropped a small baggie out the window 'Perhaps he keeps his insulin in dime bags so people will think he is some sort of drug addled rock star when he is actually just diabetic." I thought, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. I think he was just shooting up though, and he probably wasn't a rock star either. read more

7-Eleven - Convenience Stores Near Me - San Diego, California

It's a 7 Eleven so there's really not much to say... Fridges with drinks are always well stocked and clean looking. Slurpee machine always works, never messy looking. Straws, lids, cups and napkins are always well stocked and in the right place. During the summer my work schedule changed so I needed to buy coffee at 6am and this was my saving place. I have to say my stomach is sensitive to strong coffee and I took the regular kind and I was able to drink the entire thing without any repercussion. The ATM machine always works. I mostly go there to use the ATM or the Redbox. Maybe even have a big gulp on those days when I'm extra dehydrated ( too much partying). Overall a clean and working convenient 7 Eleven. The people that work there do a fine job keeping it nice and meat and they are great at customer service. read more

This place is selling hand sanitizer that is cut with vodka for 6.00 bucks a pop. They advertise it in a bottle that looks like purell, but it smells like straight cheap vodka. They are mislabeling a product in the middle of a pandemic to gauge people. When I tried to return it because I don't want to smell like straight cheap nasty vodka, they said I couldn't. I'm putting this review in along with a complaint to investigate from the BBB. Wow, unbelievable. read more

Every time I come to the 7-Eleven the people here are so polite you never have problems with anyone here and they get you right away and you leave right away you don't need to stand around You dont waiting around and they greet year with a smile read more

The prices are wrong on the items but they don't change them. They do not honor the price shown which is actually the law. Never coming back I'm tired of businesses getting away with this. It's sad there is nothing that we can do except not come back. So I'm never coming back. I stopped in 4 times a week to get stuff and I'm tired of being overcharged read more

Oh thank heaven for 7-Eleven!! I was SO effing hung over this morning and my trusty friend 7-Eleven hooked me up! Naked Juice, Excedrin, Pepto Bismol, bottled water, gatorade and string cheese got me through the day without yacking all over Street Scene on day 2. read more

This is purely about their customer service. I was recently in a fender bender in the parking lot. I was trying to find evidence for my car insurance, and thought, hey, why not see if 7 Eleven had any footage of my accident on their security cameras? I thought it might be a long shot (and it was, their cameras didn't catch anything) but I was astounded at the friendly, accommodating, and understanding response of their staff. From the cashier who gave me the name and number of his supervisor, to the owner and manager of the store who went out of their way to look through their camera footage, and return my phone call, this staff went above and beyond. Thank you so much for even trying to help me with my very unorthodox request! read more

The most laziest workers I've ever seen, this female who works there was on her cell phone, while we were waiting to be charged, there was an employee (white male) already ringing someone else, and this worthless worker taking her dam lazy ass time to do her personal shit on her cell phone and sitting on a stool, finally dragged your ass over to the counter to ring us up, but she didn't even use her jaw muscle to even say are you ready?or hello how are you? no words just a blank look on her worthless face. Its not only her who is an bad employee there has been others just like her, she is someone I had experience lately. "She isn't worth her pay check" I would like to know who is the owner is????Do they even know what happens at their business, the same employees even crowds around eachother and talk and ignore customers like if they are doing us a favor, they should be happy they even have a job. read more

This was my neighborhood stop for a soda, lottery ticket, bag of chips, the occasional tallboy. Beer selection could be more extensive and the prices better, but this review isn't about their product variety. It's a thanks to the crew, namely the store manager, Calvin, and the guy who went back and forth between wearing corn-rows and a rockin' 'fro. I recently moved out of my apartment of three-plus years. This place was a rock-throws distance away. It always amazed me how friendly, decent and sincere the crew was whenever I went in. "How you doin, man?" "Take care." These were the types of pleasantries bandied around. Their affable dispositions were always genuine, never canned like the robo-chimps who say, "Thanks for Shopping at K-Mart . . . Welcome to Blockbuster." Not much else to add, just thanks for transforming a mundane transaction into a pleasant exchange. read more

Very clean on spot. Friendly service, pretty hot today so the ac was a pleasing addition to my experience!

My favorite places I've lived have always had a 7-11 in walking distance. Solid location. They ID every single time. Even if you've been helped by the same person 3 days in a row and you forgot the license at home. I understand. They probably got busted once and don't want to go through it again. See you there. I'll be the grown man buying Sour Patch Kids. read more

I mean writing a review about a market feels ehh because what really can one expect. This is a new location so it looks nice and updated. When I recently went the atm was broken which was somewhat surprising considering they just opened. The main concern is the employee who rang me up last week. Accidents happen, but to try to charge someone almost double by mistake without noticing it seems a bit weird. Just be aware of what your true total should be to avoid getting charged incorrectly. read more

This 7-Eleven location is a bigger than most stores. It was pretty clean and looked well maintained when I went in. The cashier was professional and courteous to all patrons lined up and I was in and out pretty quickly. Also, there is redbox in the parking lot which is a plus. Parking is easy to get in and out of as well. Overall, a pretty good 7-Eleven, better than most locations. read more

Probably half of their business is for coffee and fountain drinks, however, the coffee bar is alway disgustingly filthy. When they do clean it it is only a mild effort. Anyone with clear vision can see the dust, crime and sticky messes. The employees are nice enough, but they talk too much....cleaning would suit them better. The music that is played throughout the store is too loud and the music that employees play over the piped in music is annoying and distracting to the employees and the customers read more

I hate this 7-Eleven with passion. It sucks that this is the closest late night market to my house. I go here atleast 4-5 times a week, which is more then anywhere else I go to buy beer or smokes. I've been to 7-Elevens all around the world, this location has the most unfriendly and bitter staff I have ever had the displeasure of doing business. The staff recognizes me, yet this is the only place I go where they know me, know i'm over 18/21 and still card me every time I buy smokes. It is bullshit that an establishment cannot recognize their regular customers. I look forward to the demise of this location. Please bring me a 24hr Circle K or Stop N'Go. read more

Friendly staff, smiling faces. They do participate in 7 rewards, not like the one on Broadway in Golden Hill. You rarely see friendly faces at 711. I will be back again whenever I'm in the area. read more

I recently went in and bought some hot food off their grill. Calvin was the associate working that day and provided excellent customer service. He had a great attitude, and I was impressed at how many steps he took to uphold sanitatioin standards. He washed his hands with soap, dried them, used hand santizer, and then put on plastic gloves and used a serving tong to pick up my food, then put everything into a paper food serving bag. Thank you for all your work! Much appreciation read more

As I have stated before, I have an odd fascination with 7-11. I don't know if it's my love of cherry slurpees or drinks the size of my head. Realistically I think it has something to do with their resemblance of the quik-e-mart. I unfortunately frequent this 7-11 due to its convenience when I am in a hurry an need something quickly. Ok you caught me, when hung over and need one of those Arnold Palmer Teas in the giant cans :-) In my experience the crew at this 7-11 is by far the scariest and most unfriendly I have encountered. I'm sure that much of the clientele does not help the situation. When I was in the other day there was a long line wrapping all the way to the slurpee machine. The one guy behind the counter was working hard to ring everyone up and he was being very friendly to everyone. About the time that I reached the register, a rather large gentleman emerged from the back storage area (looking like he just woke up from a nap). While the cashier was in the middle of ringing me up, this large gentleman asked the cashier if he had 'done ur temp logs yet' and my cashier was very friendly and said he had just started it a few minutes ago before this line built up, and he'd finish it in a few. The large gentleman proceeded to berate the cashier and tell him that he has to multitask. I've personally worked in the restaurant industry for well over a decade and although I agree that in any business multitasking is essential towards productivity, there is a time and place for everything. Food temp logs shouldn't be completed while handling cash and 'coaching' employees shouldn't be done in front of customers. This large gentleman was clearly some position of authority in this particular 7-11 although I have never seen him before. Unfortunately I will likely continue to frequent this location due to the convenience and ultimately the product that I am purchasing is sufficient. I recommend however that you have your money ready and try and get in and out as quickly as possible with little expectations of service. read more

I mean, its 7 eleven... I use to live across the street from here when the Aztec bowl was still open and once witnessed a man taking a #2 on the wall by the pay phone! The ONLY reason they get a star at all is because I respect the employee's compliance with "rules" but this is ridiculous! My boyfriend was outside returning a movie at the Redbox kiosk which--by the way--wasn't working AGAIN so he asked me to run in and buy a pack of cigarettes. They always ask for ID and I didn't have mine so he gave me his along with the cash. Well they refused to sell to me since I didn't have my ID. Fair enough, but then when my boyfriend came in and tried to buy cigs WITH HIS ID they wouldn't even sell to him!!! But wait... When my boyfriend asked if he was to leave and return 15 minutes later with his ID would they sell to him... no problem! This is a ridiculous rule and the management at 711 needs to know they're losing sales to valid customers. If someone wanted to buy cigarettes for an underage individual there are a lot of other places they could go that don't card. 711, you should seriously re-think this asinine rule! And oh yeah--note to Redbox customers--there are several other kiosks in the neighborhood that you can count on to be functional. read more

I have to say that 7-11 has gone down hill. Badly!! Undercover Boss needs to go back on the road and actually go to store that are not good stores. I have gone to this store twice and each time received very bad service. Both times there is on guy running the register while the second person there seems to be counting her drawer. I have been there at around 730 pm ad around 9pm. I have worked at stores like this and I can;t imagine that she is doing shift change while there is a line of at least 7 people. It is bad enough that the guy behind the counter can not count change and if he does it takes him 10 mins to do so. But he does not seem to like white people. I was 4th in line behind 3 black people who all bought cigarettes. He did not ask them for ID and they were clearly in their early 20's . I get to the register to buy cigarettes and he asked for my ID. Although flattering it was ticking me off at the same time. He told me he had to wipe in the register to confirm I was of age. Little jerk I am old enough to be your father!!!!!! I asked why he did not card the 3 people n front of me. he then told me that it was up to him to decide who gets carded. WTF. I will never set foot in that store again!!!!!!!!! read more
