Short haired Indian guy yelled at my friend and I for talking in his store. We both got slushees, a candy and bags of chips and we got yelled at for wasting time and having a conversation with my friend. Couldn't of been in the store more than 5 minutes, to be fair it was late at night yet still an ABSURD amount of yelling from this man. This place sucks! He bitched all the way through checking us out, wouldn't stop yelling at my friend and I until we payed and basically ran out. read more

7-Eleven - two men at a cash register - Convenience Stores Near Me - Saint Charles, Illinois

This gas stations pumps are weird and the gas itself expensive. Better off going anywhere else.

The credit card reader at the outside pump was not working and advised to see clerk in store. No mask signs were up that I could see. No attendant at cash register until I finally called him from the back. He refused to take my card because I was not wearing a mask. My wife who was wearing a mask came up and I gave her my card and she completed the purchase. We are both fully vaccinated. When I offered that the CDC guideline had changed he simply shook his head no. The 7-Eleven website indicates they follow the guidelines. This appears to be inaccurate. I don't frequent 7-Eleven so this is intended to be an FYI vs. a complaint. However in the future I'll support businesses fully on board with the current COVID guidelines. I have BEYOND had it with these a-holes. Despite this being the closest gas station to my house, I will NEVER go here again. This is a promise I've made to myself on more than one occasion, but between putting it in writing and it only being January 4th (NY resolution), I'm thinking it's going to stick this time. The people that work there: rude and inattentive. They're always slow in the morning, as in I've gone in and NO ONE was behind the counter. Kind of would be nice to pay for things and leave in a reasonable amount of time at any "convenience" store, regardless of the time of day. The final straw came days before Christmas, my sister wanted to buy some scratch off Lotto tickets for a last minute gift and I went in the store with her. I waited while she picked out the tickets she wanted and once she told him, he abruptly stated that he needed both of our IDs. I hadn't said anything or even approached the counter and I didn't have my ID, so I told him I didn't have it and he told me that he wouldn't sell her the tickets. I then told him that I'd wait outside because I wasn't making the purchase, and he refused to sell her the tickets. She asked for an explanation which he could not furnish...and I left the store, already annoyed. My sister then proceeded to demand an explanation (which I witnessed from outside), and since this encounter was OBVIOUSLY going nowhere, I went back in the store and told her we could go elsewhere bc really, who wants to support a business like this when there are trillions of Lotto vendors?? The most irritating thing about the whole thing was that not only would he not provide an explanation, he wasn't apologetic in the least bit, and I am waaaaaaay older than 18. I bought my first scratch off ticket here on my 18th bday...and now I am..well, old enough that I no longer wish to flaunt my age. I wasn't even trying to make a purchase, I was just in the store and I offered to leave as soon as he made it an issue. Basically, this guy was a complete d*ck, and if it makes you feel like you're on a power trip to impose silly technicalities on people at random, then so be it. You obviously have serious problems if that's how you get your rocks off. F this 7-11, I will be visiting the Geneva location for all my future Slurpees needs..where they are nice, and offer me old donuts late at night. read more
