However, Ivanna at the deli counter is by far the best I have encountered since the store opened. I believe that employees should be recognized for exceptional service when it is deserved. Ivanna always greets customers with a smile and is eager to assist them. I hope management acknowledges her efforts and recognizes her outstanding service. Great employees are hard to find and retain. Rosa in the bakery department is unfortunately at the other end of the spectrum. Rosa is so rude and unhelpful that my wife avoids the bakery department completely! I, on the other hand, will not let one rude and unprofessional employee keep me from any department in that store. I have asked Rosa time and time again for assistance in getting fresh bread, only to be told that there is none available to bake (even though I can see there is in the background) or that they first have to sell what is in the baskets. Both are incorrect answers to a customer. I run my own business, and my employees know that the customer is always right. I only hope that management corrects this problem promptly, because one toxic employee can ruin the rest of the team.

Prices were reasonable The staff was friendly and I even got to try a fresh pita. You can see them making fresh pita behind the glass window. In fact, most of this place was the pita machine. The hummus is delicious with hot of spiciness. It tastes fresh and lacks that citric acid from store bought. The tzatziki sauce was delicious. Baklava was yummy. Overall, I will be back in the future.

My biggest recommendation for families with little ones is to get the Gold Bracelet! The unlimited rides on the train and Bushels of Fun were absolutely worth it. The girls couldn't get enough! There was also plenty to enjoy with general admission, including the giant jumping pillow, corn play bin, bubble station, mega slide, and the hilarious giant hamster wheels, which were a huge favorite! The petting zoo was another highlight! There was a wonderful variety of animals, and the girls absolutely loved feeding them. A helpful tip: Bring quarters to purchase grain from the dispensers, or you can purchase fresh vegetables near the ticket counter. There are posted safety reminders, so be sure to supervise little ones and use care when feeding the animals. We had a wonderful experience! The staff was fantastic, especially the friendly team member at the ticket counter and the train conductor. Everyone was so great with the kids! We also enjoyed the food, particularly the warm apple cider donuts and delicious mushroom crepes. One more parent tip: Bring extra socks, especially on wet days or after playing in the corn bin! While it's a smaller farm compared to some of the larger fall attractions, I think that's part of its charm, especially for younger children. We captured some priceless memories, and the girls were still talking about everything afterward! Thank you, Windy Acres Farm, for such a memorable day and a wonderful way to end the fall season. I asked them to add ice cream to make it a sundae, and it was absolutely delicious! One suggestion I'd love to see in the future would be a homemade peach puree or peach syrup to drizzle on top. I think that would take it to the next level. I didn't purchase admission to the area with the petting zoo and other family activities, so I also missed out on the beer garden and grilled food. I think it would be a great idea to have a few food trucks or additional food vendors near the farm stand for visitors who are just there to shop or enjoy the festival without entering the activity area. Go with the mindset that you will be there for a while, especially when trying to check out. 2) Don't expect friendly employees. You won't be disappointed this way. 3) Don't expect friendly customers. Most customers do not follow the first 2 rules here and are agitated. 4) Go with the attitude that everyone else is a joke. Watch the unhappy customers, unhappy employees, and those of us that follow the suggestions listed in 1,2, & 3. You'll know which ones we are. Stay relaxed and you'll be fine.
