They've got a wide variety of snacks, drinks, and food options, way better than most gas stations nearby. Everything is usually well stocked too, so you're not stuck with limited choices. He looks at the card and tells me that this gas station doesn't honor that card. I said, "You honored it last week when I got gas here." I ask him to try the card and he refuses. I went out to my truck and decided to try the card again, because I needed gas. I wiped down the magnetic strip and sure enough, the card worked! I went in and told him that "I guess you DO honor this card!" I went and pumped my gas and he came out, trying to explain the situation. The only "situation" is that you were too lazy to even try to run the card inside. I told him I usually get gas there a couple times a week and this will be the LAST time I will be getting gas here. And you know, bad word of mouth is a horrible thing. I tell two friends, and they tell two friends, and so on and so on.

There is never a wait due to all of the pumps they have - lots of them. The Pride of Palatine is their convenience store - it even has a big selection of wines, beer, and liquors. They also have a restaurant, Urban Counter, which is very good. If you sell something on Facebook Marketplace, this is a great location for a public meet up.
