I happen to be driving past Britain's car wash on 31. I pulled in, paid my money, went into the booth, the car was washed and I left. The minute I pulled out. I had static and no radio. I had no idea what was going on. Over the next few weeks everything else started to not work, my GPS, my phone, little things weren't working. I went to the dealership and they asked me immediately if I went to a car wash. The answer was yes. They said this is car wash damage. I went to Gerber collision and glass to have it repaired. After I called it into State farm. I knew exactly where and when it happened. Gerber also confirmed that it was 100% undeniably related to a car wash. The only car wash I went to was Britain's in Dundee. When I reached out, the owner told me without a doubt and without any uncertainty, it was impossible for his car wash to do that to my car. So my $10 car wash or whatever it was, turned out to be over $2,000. I have a $250 deductible that I had to pay. I know that it happened in that car Wash. I'm disappointed that he immediately threw his hands in the air and said couldn't have been us. That's impossible. It's possible and it happened. I didn't run all over calling car washes and accusing them. I had one car wash, at the britons in Dundee, and it damaged my car and my roof. I'm sure their car wash is great when it works, but I hope this doesn't happen to anybody else. What bothers me more is the attitude of it couldn't have happened here. It's impossible. Shame on that car wash, stuck me with a $2,000 claim on my insurance and at $250 deductible. Shame shame shame but I believe in karma.

You can only come ones a day! They are NOT unlimited and false advertisement. Also, the rims do not get cleaned through their Carwash. But the Carwash on McClean for the same price leaves your rims super clean. I left this message on their Facebook page for others to be aware, and they disabled my commenting. Who's gonna cover the paint chipping all over the car? Moreover, the plate numbers were bent! Is that all your automatic car drive-through is doing? They rush you so there is no chance to inspect the car properly. Every time I point out something needs attention they respond: don't worry! They don't listen, they're in a hurry, and now I'm the one super worried! I just realized that in the receipt it states power wash rubber mat! And they only vacuumed!

It's a really nice setup -- completely touchless, so there are no giant scrub brushes that can scratch your paint. That's a big plus in my book. The only downside is the drying situation. There's no built-in dryer at the end of the wash. Instead, the dryers are located outside along the side of the building, and it costs $1 to use one. That was a first for me.

I've tried most of them out here and I'm so glad I have a reliable top notch place to get my car washed. Prices are same as other places but you get your moneys worth here! It's fast and easy service checking and paying with service members there to greet and help you all the time. Bill who runs the car wash is always there and doing quality control checks and super friendly guy to ask questions about the monthly wash programs! They spare nothing here! The soap they use is plentiful and you actually can smell the freshness in the car as it goes thru. The vacuums to clean inside the car are super suction and pick even the littlest stuff up! They have large trash containers too for you to get rid of trash. The place is kept meticulously clean and neat. I drive over 10 miles just to bring my newer car here. This was my first time here and I wanted to measure the quality before investing in a plan. I went with the Deluxe, which is fancy for "lowest tier", but I just wanted to get the salt off my car and undercarriage, which is part of the package. I was surprised to see that there was an attendant inside giving a little "pre-soak" from a hose to prime my car for the wash. Also, this wash doesn't have a tire track! It's literally a flat conveyor belt without any bumper or mound to push you along, which is great for those worried about scratching their rims. When I came out, I was pleased with the quality of wash, even at the lowest tier. There were a few residual spots, but nothing egregious and easily something that could have been remedied if I brought a towel for a quick wipe. Based on this experience, I will be back on a Sunday to get the full Ceramic Shield package and if that goes well, I'll consider a membership, as well as upgrading this review to 5 stars!
