FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS! I am writing to formally report a highly concerning experience at a 7-Eleven location involving a duplicate gas charge and extremely unprofessional customer service. During my visit, I initially paid for gas inside the store; however, the employee entered the incorrect pump number. Believing the issue to be a system error when my pump did not activate, I returned inside and completed a second transaction. As a result, I was charged twice for what should have been a single purchase. After allowing 3-5 days for a potential automatic refund, I contacted my bank to dispute the duplicate charge. Following their review process, I was advised to seek resolution directly from the store. Upon returning to the location and speaking with the manager, I was informed that both transactions were recorded as completed at two different pumps within minutes of each other. I calmly explained that I only received one pump of gas and that the situation was likely due to an error made by the cashier. Rather than addressing the issue professionally or investigating further, the manager questioned my honesty and implied that I was being untruthful. I found this response deeply disappointing and frankly insulting. As a paying customer attempting to resolve a legitimate billing error, I expected professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to assist--not accusations and dismissiveness. The manager further refused to provide his name or the name of the employee involved, which only added to the lack of transparency and accountability. This experience has significantly impacted my trust in this location. I am a frequent customer of 7-Eleven stores, and to be treated in such a disrespectful and combative manner is both unacceptable and disheartening. I have submitted a complaint through official channels and am prepared to escalate this matter further, including filing a report with the Better Business Bureau. This 7-11 is definitely heaven!!! It's in a great location and because of its location-it is clean!!! The guy working the counter was the coolest too because when I brought my snacks to him, he mentioned that there was a deal going on to make sure I got the discount. I was really thankful for that. The employees are always nice and accomodating, store clean, no unsavory characters hanging out in the parking lot, and best of all they are one of the few to sell ice cold Gatorade in the high end dispenser pictured. This is the best way to drink Gatorade and I reuse those bottles dozens of times. They are much better than any water bottles. Keep selling the Gatorade in the Orange locking top squeeze bottles. And the entire place needs to be power washed...just walking into the store you have to wade through spilled drinks and swamp of other fluids. We come here everytime we go through PV and everytime its a good experience. The male cashier thats usually there is very nice and friendly. However the last time we went in for a soda there was a female cashier who was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I stopped by this 7/11 Gas Station after seeing it sitting here on the corner of Hawthorne & Palos Verdes Drive. The prices were reasonable for the area. I was gassing up the work ride and ended up paying $4.05 for 91 octane which is just about the going rate. The pump took my work credit card and did not charge me a $0.45 service charge for simply saving the cashier the brain pain of figuring out how to authorize my transaction. This 7/11 has a 7/11 Food Mart attached and is within sight of a Trader Joe's, Starbucks, Subway and other places I frequent. I do dig when you can do something so common place as pumping gas while looking out over bluffs at the Ocean, for me that is special. read more

After I left the store, my bank account had $800 missing. My boyfriend goes to the store today and waits for the guy who made the transaction yesterday to show up for work. When they speak the employee says that he will call to see what happened. Instead he called the police and told them that my boyfriend won't leave the store. Came here a lot until this happened to me.... So I went in to buy a Selfie Stick with my friend. It was $17 which was a good price. I buy the Selfie Stick and try it out in my car. Does not work. I go back in there and see if the guy up from (the manager) could help me fix it but it turns out that the one he gave me was a broken one. The next day (Sunday) I go in a see if I can return it or at least replace it with a working one. The different guy said he does not know and to come back the next day. I come back today (monday) and written on the box it says "No Refunds." That was not written there before. I assume the guy working there on Sunday told his manager who later on wrote that No Refunds were going to be given. Terrible customer service! I have to buy 10 $10 gift cards for a work event every week and I've come here a few times and had no issue (even though 1 time I did get charged for 10 but only 9 worked). The last time I went the cashier told me they only take cash for gift cards! Is this 1995?! I've always used credit cards there and was so confused. Terrible over the phone experience. Talked to a man working at 7:30 on 6/12 and I started asking questions about prices of cigarette cartons. He quickly told me that Palma were the cheapest at $35. I started to ask him another question when he stopped me mid sentence by saying "who is this" in an extremely abrupt, defensive tone. I was quite take aback by this and paused before answering him "a customer" (obviously I am a customer... that was an extremely rude thing to ask me and he cut me off mid sentence). I began to ask my next question again when he just hangs up on me. I call back immediately and the man let's the phone just keep ringing. I decide to give a call back to him after it has been 2 minutes and he answer right away and I asked him why he had hung up ok a customer and he responds with "oh, we actually don't carry cartons here". I respond with a simple "oh, ok" and then he promptly hangs up on me again. I know they sell cartons here and this was probably one of the worst on phone experience I have had with any employee and this man should be fired as soon as possible to save other people from having a similar experience. read more

Does it take alot of energy to be nice and helpfull? Some of the clerks do not reflect my one star rating but a couple deserve no stars. Yes once again I wish I could give a zero star rating. I grab a 1 liter pepsi but when I get to the counter I notice all the dried stickey goo now stuck to the side of the bottle and my hand. With a big smile and a please I asked the clerk for a wet rag or something because I needed to wipe off the bottle, boy oh boy, youd think I had asked him to dig a ditch or something.
