These sons of bitches with there over priced fuel, are the only gas station that steals money from your bank accounts and call it "a holding charge" and don't put the money back in your account for as long as they can. It's not the bank neither because Arco does the same thing, and the money is returned within minutes!!! Worst part about this I cancelled my transaction due to realizing that even with my Ralph's points and $0.50c off a gallon it was still going to be most expensive fuel than anywhere else. So I cancelled the transaction and didn't purchase any fuel, only to find they had cleared all the money out of my account and over drawn me!!!! for a holding charge. 4 days later I'm still waiting for it to refund back. And now going to get charged for overdraft fees. Be aware of these places, and go in and pay cash. Definitely don't trust them. read more

The actual food mart smells like sewage, the car wash is broken often(including the card reader) and the people that work in there, with the exception of one young brunette, are just not good at customer service. I work close by and decided to use my reward points for gas after work. I pulled up only to wait almost a hour for someone to open the door. There were 3 to 4 people waiting also and in the afternoon time to boot. This is the only shell near me to fill up. I couldn't even use my points. I usually go in the night time and thank God the Lady in there Betty is always so nice and ready to help me with gas points. I'm disabled and can't see well which is why I need to pay inside. Second review. I bought gas paid for car wash and again no receipt given at the pump.. I go inside to get my car wash code and the cashier says out car wash is not working. I ask for a refund. She states she can't give a refund cause I bought it with gas purchase. The best she can do is tell me to come back to use the code when the car wash is working. I ask why is there no sign at the pumps that say the car wash is down. I don't know who owns this but it's not being run well. I always have an issue here. Betty is LOVELY--I mistakenly thought I could pay for the car wash on Shell's app as I didn't have a physical card on me, & was having major technical difficulties downloading, then signing in to the app & trying to figure out where I could procure me one of them damn codes for the kiosk. Meanwhile, my mindless self didn't realize that when I'd frantically pulled out of the car wash line (someone behind me) & into a parking spot, I was blocking one of the air/water machines. Eventually, Betty came & knocked on my window to let me know I couldn't keep blocking that spot if I wasn't using the machine--I apologized for being such an airhead & explained to her what I was trying to do, she let me know that if I couldn't pay with a card then I could just come pay in-store (duh! My brain, or lack thereof, sometimes, I swear...). Once inside, she made sure I knew that I had to wait until the person in front of me was completely out of the wash before I entering my code or it would screw the system up. Despite following her instructions, the kiosk said to wait as it was still in use, I drove up to the lights--nothing...reversed back to the kiosk--same message. Just as I thought I effed up somehow, out came Betty to save the day. She had to get a little help from the higher-ups to reboot, then all systems go. I was a hot mess from start to finish, but Betty could not have possibly been any more sweet, helpful or patient with me! I mean, truly, it's service like this that compels me to leave reviews...not everyday you get to deal with people as awesome as she is. My new go-to gas station in this area now, for sure. This is my favorite gas station of the area. Firstly, the pricing is great and the employees are nice. But my favorite part is the express car wash. It's so fast and easy. I used to get the lowest wash until the one time I got the highest grade wash. I think it's $12 or $14. Now that's all I get. I have a big truck and it fits! It gives my truck that hand wash feeling. And the best part is it doesn't have those tracks like other car washes do that mess up your rims. The whole machine moves around you. I highly recommend it!! read more

I don't know I just don't think you should have teens hanging out outside while you are trying to pay I wouldn't expect it in Compton let alone anywhere. The darker kid there is always pissed off at something and someone and hanging out with random people who are pulling up! Decided to start coming to this gas station since it's by work and convenient to get to. The first time was great but the last three times I've been here it's just annoying that I can't use my debit card outside. Why do I have to go inside to pay? Aren't we suppose to be social distancing? Why can't I just pay at the pump instead of having to go inside where other people are at? Also one of the clerks was on a personal call when I was inside paying for gas and was talking on speaker about how upset he was to wear a mask since everyone else is wearing he shouldn't have to wear it. I don't feel like that type of person who doesn't want to protect himself is doing g a great job at cleaning and protecting others. Now the last thing is that I showed up today and parked at gas pump #9 and walked in to pre-pay. I told the clerk how much I wanted on #9 and she said that only pumps 1,3, and 6 where working at time became the other are being maintenance. I drive further out of my way just to get shell gas at this station and I always know that Christina will be there with a smile and she is always so quick to help. This place has some shady practices going on. If you have a Ralph's rewards card and use it to get a discount on your gas, you're probably getting ripped off. It will show that you're getting .50 cents off, .80 cents off (or whatever amount of your discount) but it NEVER actually reduces the amount you pay for gas!! It has happened to me twice. I left my phone number for the manager and they never called me back. When the screen says it's applying your discount, you just assume they really are. You have to double check that you're not being ripped off here and that's simply no way to do business. read more

This is specifically about getting propane bottles refilled. If you have a nice propane bottle, you do not want to exchange it at the grocery store or Home Depot. I was pleased and impressed to see that my local gas station has on-the-spot fills for propane. The girl at the counter was helpful and fast. Maybe for $3.45 a gallon, you can get squeegees that work and clean soapy water. Just a thought.
