Been using their express car wash for five dollars. I just wish their machine was easier to see the price and accepted cards but I figured out the first time and pressed the bottom button and it was the five dollar one. Just a quick note don't open up your window or door to pay until the car that's in the wash is completely done cause you're gonna get sprayed with whatever is being sprayed on the car at the time. It doesn't do a perfect job but I can't take my new car through a brush car wash because it will put swirl marks on it and this one is the most reasonable around for brushless. read more

I was profiled while using a gift card at this location. The clerk; his name started with an R. He had never seen a gift card for the amount I had and demanded my id; wrote down my id number and took down my plate number. A total violation given I was wrongly accused. Good Shell, inexpensive car wash for a drive through they have several choices , however frequently when I have been in line the car wash has broken with a person in the stall. I've gone in and told the management once but now it seems as if the car wash attendant is there most of the time so he usually catches the machine malfunction. You can press the button on the panel and it alerts the clerk inside. The car wash attendant is really a nice guy and he does a super job at wiping down your car and windows and tires after. I just really enjoy this Shell because they also have a Circle K and I like the soda and the fact the cups keep the drink cold (the cups are styrofoam though so the environmental friendly part of me is sad). Their gas tends to be more expensive than other locations so I don't get my gas here usually unless I am really low. All the workers are really friendly and that is a super plus! Their carwash also does the trick when you need a quick cheap wash. They really are a full service station. Shame on you Shell, I feel you deceived me, which I'm also seeing from the other Yelp reviews! This is the last gas station before I head to my house, and I use it a fair amount regardless of the price of gas - which is moderately priced, for the record. I've been reading about how cheap gas is getting, and I saw $3.25 for super premium. After pumping my gas, I was surprised that the amount of gas I calculated (a game I play with myself) was off based on the money I paid.. I'm usually good at this calculation game - side bar. Anyway, what I registered mentally was the flashing price they had for gas AFTER you also buy a car wash. WHAT?! Plus, it has been raining for 2 straight days, and was even raining when I got my gas! I ended up paying $3.45 per gallon, even with cash. Like a moth the light, the big red neon sign sucked me in! I get having a price difference for paying with a credit card versus cash - in this case, I felt deceived. As I looked really close at their gas board, and finally, I spotted a small... SMALL sign to the side which indicated the prices were 'with the purchase of a car wash'. Moving on... this location has a nice convenience store with all the things you might expect, lottery machine, a variety of drinks, and some food, etc. Did I mention they have a drive through car wash, LOL! The people working here are friendly and the physical location is generally clean. I also like that the pumps have paper towels, and good condition squeegee devices to clean your windows. This Shell is between a 2 and a 3 star, the location is very convenient and it has an easy in/easy out setup, the pumps are always clean and the card readers work consistently. My two negative comments about this place include the false advertising and the car wash. 1. The prices posted are not accurate, well they are if you read the incredibly small sign off to the side that says "with a car wash". If you see the prices at this station driving by add 10 cents to get the actual price. 2. The car wash is one of the best, but there is a guy (not sure if he's employed by the gas station) that offers to wash your windows after the car wash, he is a little aggressive and pretty much stands in front of your car until you basically have to yell at him to move. I don't like being hassled, I'm just trying to get a cheap/fast car wash. WORST WORST EVER. I'd give 0 stars if i could. This place is the biggest rip off ever. Long story short I put $13 in on my car that had 0 miles when I turned my car on the range didn't go up at all it was still at 0 miles. I went inside and told the clerk that there was nothing coming out of the pump. He fought with me and said it was because my car was big and I needed to put at least $20 to see the range go up. Just no common sense. I buy $92 in gas go in the store to buy twenty two dollars in groceries and grab a empty cup to split a protein shake that I am buying from them. They want to charge for a empty cup after $114 in purchase. Returned all the groceries and will not be filling up my gas or my companies gas here in the future. Do yourself a favor and don't go there! I've been there twice and both times had a horrible experience. Indeed the price you see on the sign is not the correct price (unless you are getting a car wash), but another problem is the Ralphs reward card program. The first time I walked inside to pay because I thought the price on the sign was not being reflected on the pump. I then learned the trick, buy the car wash! The second time, I decided to get the car wash to maximize my discount at the pump. After I paid for gas, car wash and gave him my rewards number, I get to the pump to have no discount at all!! Say what?!?! He reimbursed me the difference in money both times because I complained. I can only imagine how much money is this man pocketing everyday. Don't go here. I only go to other gas stations, that are not Shell. I had a gift card. The cashier was very rude. He couldn't check my balance on my card. He said "See all these tickets? My boss will ask me what all these tickets are for in the morning!" That was his response for checking my balance on my gift card. He basically yelled at me. These people will rip you off. Gas was $3.59 for the 87 gas, as of July 1st. When I get my receipt for my gift card, I was charged $3.79. My gift card was only pre-authorized to pump gas. Ii pressed the 87 button, thinking I would be paying for the $3.59 gas, but instead was charged $3.79. I will be reporting this gas station to this website https://oag.ca.gov/antitrust/gasoline/complaint The clerk gave me a look, like I was another annoying customer. He said "Yes??" when Ii walked in. The location of this is as good as any other... on the side of PCH in a high traffic area. The size of the gas fueling area is a little packed but not the worst I've seen nor the best. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because of a couple things... The car wash for one. The car wash charges $5-7 and it is terrible. I've gone through my fair share of car washes and paid $5 for a good one. Compared to other car washes this is so horrible! Barely any soap, a little rinse, and a horrible drying job... Tried to use my rewards points along with a car wash. Everything went thru but the pump wouldn't pump. Went inside and was told the pump wasn't working. Moved to another pump and the same thing happened. Moved to a third pump where someone had just filled up. Message on machine told me to see the cashier.
