Why offer both a cash price and a credit card price if you discourage people from getting the cash price? At every other arco when you pay with a debit card they give you the cash price, at this station they try to trick you into using the debit card like a credit card so they can charge you more. If you press debit and insert your card it won't read the card on the first try. Just leave it in there and pick debit again and it will finally give you the cash price. It's a shady practice by the station and Arco should definitely look into it. If you pull the card and try using the tap to pay it will give you the credit card price. read more

i want to report a very rude monsterous-looking employee there who said "fuck you " to it's customer! he "accused me" of throwing my money at him when i informed him how much gas i wanted & at what pump. he then said in a condescending tone not to throw the money and that it was diseprecrful & just to lay it there on the counter! i clarified and said " "wait? do not throw the money?" i did "no such thing" he kept "insisting" i did even after i told him i did no such thing! i was in my own world minding my own business trying to give your gas station business & i always handed the money the same way and it was " never" a problem to your other employees! i even called "all" them " my friend" until argument unfortunately broke out today & cuss words exchanged! when i told him that he didnt have to say anything about his accusations of throwing money & that it didnt have to be an argument or fight, he said "get the fuck out of my station... fuck you!" just want to let you know i reported this to your headquarters! you really need to reprimand this employee and/or fire him! apparently he is not happy at his job! a lot of people are out of work and trying to get jobs but no one is hiring! teach your employees how to behave professionally! it doesnt matter whether the customer is friendly or not. in this case i called him & everyone " my friend". but now this has changed! read more

DO NOT GO THERE!!! This is the worst Arco I've ever visited. First, a machine didn't take my debit card- it said "see a cashier", then when I went inside, a cashier started yelling at me because I didn't have a mask and he kicked me out. The next day I got an e-mail from my bank there was a charge of $100.35 assuming that might be a fraud. So, BE CAREFUL! Looks like it's not the first time and might be their practice. read more

This is a station that is not focused on the customer. They are another station that is taking advantage of Covid to reduce services. Not only are their restrooms closed, which means they are lazy, but they closed the pumps at 8:30. That is a very odd time to close. Not to mention way too early. read more

Wanted to ask for change to use the air station when I realized I didn't have my mask with me. I pulled my shirt up over my nose and mouth and opened the door and asked from the doorway when I was hit with a barrage of Indian laced profanity for not wearing a mask. This guy was extremely rude and disrespectful towards my wife trying to just pump gas and get what she needed. We've been pumping gas here for years, we live here, our kids go to school here in PV. We've been giving this gas station our hard earned money only to be treated like trash. Wife went here to pump gas and it was her first time going in because she needed cash back and after pumping she went in to purchase something and get cash. He was extremely frustrated and rude to my wife while people stood behind her in line as she was getting cash back and when she confronted him about this his frustration, he yelled at her in front of everyone and told her to get out. I don't understand how anyone could treat people, customers especially women this way. As a husband I was upset and angry at the situation and told her we are going back there so I can talk to him about this situation. When I arrived with her he looked shocked and surprised, and I asked him why he disrespected my wife and yelled at her, she noticed he toned his voice all the way down. I told him you do not treat anyone this way especially women we are paying customers. He apologized to my wife while at the same time telling us he will no longer serve us in the future. Huh? Don't worry we will not be back to spend a dime with your business. At this point I was not satisfied and thought this is not right and maybe he treated others this way. I posted the story on Nextdoor and all I can say is wow! Almost 100 comments piled up in over 24 hours of mostly women who have also been mistreated by this guy even others with verbal abusive experiences from him. Fast forward here I am again posting because Nextdoor decided to remove the post and disable my account for raising awareness to extremely inappropriate behavior from this guy at a business based on experience. This has station pissed me off for the last time today about 2pm. I was coming here quite often for awhile it was handy in connection from home to work. But in the past year I've had to have my bank account debt card closed 3 times due to compromise. Each time it was traced to this location. Luckily my bank caught it and contacted me. Anyone who has had their account compromised can relate to what a pain in the butt it is to have to deal with this. I thought I'd change method of payments, or id go inside to pay rather than at the pump. Yet it still happened. I don't know how they do it and im not accusing anyone but if its done inside and not at the pump something isn't adding up. Anyhow, I stopped in today for gas I was running extremely low. I never carry cash its always credit card or debt. I waited 15 minutes as the woman in line in front of me stood and chatted on her phone after she was finished pumping her gas. She glanced back at me several times and appeared to have no concern for the people waiting. I couldn't go to another pump because I had people in line behind me. Finally she moves on and I pull forward. I swipe my card and of course it doesn't read so I go inside. Theres a man behind the counter, not sure of his name, darker skin tone, younger I'd say maybe late 20s early 30s fairly tall. I tell him I couldn't swipe my card at the pump and I'd like to get gas. He tells me to insert the chip (nope nothing) "swipe it" he says (nope unable to read). He reaches out his hand and says "your strip or chip must be damaged, let me enter it for you". I asked "what? You want me to give you my card so you can manually enter it? Why do you have to enter it why can't I enter it from the keypad? (Mind you I had no intentions of handing him my card OR entering it myself I know better after all the issues I've had here). He tells me, "he has to enter the number from the screen he has not the one on the counter" and held out his hand again as if he expected me to hand him my card. I said I can run it as credit I don't do debt. He got agitated and said "we don't take credit, we never have just let me run your card". Very persistant he was. I said "there's no sign stating you don't accept credit cards for gas, when did that start up"? It all seemed to fishy to me and I felt like I was about to get screwed if I handed him my card. I told him, "if you dont accept credit. Cards you need to post a sign or something. I've been taken for alot of money at this location and Im not about to hand you my card so you can get my info off of it I will go somewhere else." This guy smiled and snickered a bit "ok go somewhere else nobody takes credit cards around here" and he chuckled (dude your making yourself look pretty shady). I left very aggrivated and went to another gas station close by that DID take credit cards and I told them what just happened at this location. They laughed and commented that it didn't surprise them, they've heard stories about this location, people getting ripped off, short changed and compromised ALOT. Thank God I left. I rarely do negative reviews but this experience did it for me. I'm not going back and they need to learn customer service and maybe hire employees that are more professional and dont laugh at their customers. read more

Cheapest price in the area, friendly and kind staff members who smile at you, with no issues to parking or waiting! Great spot close to home for me. I usually come in the afternoon times before sunset, and the place is never packed. In relation to the other reviewer, I've only used cash here, so am unsure if issues persist with cards. read more

I had two $25 gift cards and was given a receipt for $50. I pumped my gas and it stopped at $49.99. Wtf? I tried to pump the extra $0.01 but it wouldn't work. (I drive a Honda CR-V and have to hold back the nozzle to get the gas to pump). I went back in to get my penny and was told that the penny "went back on your card". I was like...why? He tried to retrieve the cards from his behind the counter trashcan and was pissed about that. He refused to give me one penny back so I took one penny from the "give a penny..take a penny" tray on the counter next to the debit card reader. The man went off screaming for me to never come back. I won't. He is a shister and needs to stop stealing from customers. One time I paid $40 cash and couldn't pump more than $39 and he refused to give me $1 cash back....tried to give me a "gift card" with $1 credit on it. That man needs to rethink how he does business.
