I took my Porsche through their wash tunnel and in the tunnel I already heard something was rubbing against my wheel. When I came out I saw that one of my rims was completely scratched up. I reported it to the staff and filled out a claim form. A few weeks later Superstar contacted me and told me that my claim was denied because it was "inconsistent with the equipment that we utilize"!? So if you like your car don't bring it to Super Star Car wash. Terrible in taking responsibility if they create damage to their vehicle read more

You do not want to wash your car here. You can pay for the highest quality wash but it won't really do anything. The highest quality wash here can be compared to another place's lowest quality wash. None of the debris was removed and it's as if I rinsed my car with water. Paying for the highest quality I definitely did not expect it to do nothing. I tried emailing customer service and I have not received an answer for the past week and a half. When you call the number it leads to an automatic voice machine. Stopped by here to clean and vacuum the car. At the gate they will try to upsell you with the monthly or the premium washes. I know this is pretty common at these kinds of drive through car washes but I really hate the practice. Prices are on the higher side for drive through washing. Really makes me wish I had a garage I could wash in peace. The cleaning tunnel is on the shorter side. I got one step above base tier washing and I felt like the car was barely clean after. I do like that they have clean towels available at the drying stations My biggest gripe is that the vacuum suction is extremely weak on some of the vacuum stations. I had to walk around until I found one that was strong enough to pick up loose sand from my mats. read more

Last 2 times i went there, the machine gave a jolt towards the end of the wash like something was sticking our which hit my rims and it let me with nasty scratches on my passenger side rim. (You can clearly see the paint residue on my tire). I spoke to the service person who asked me to file a claim. Which i did. They assigned me a claims person yesterday and today they determined that it was a pre existing scratch. The person did not even call me to get my statement. Four different parking spots didn't have the vacuums working. And most of the parking spots were littered with watered trash that you had to step in to clean your car, so when you got in your car, you just dirty your floorboard again. They never mention it's a recurring charge nor send notification that a recurrent monthly fee of $30 bucks. I've now come here three times in the last 11 days to wash my car and the entire car wash is shut down! You call their customer service, and they refer you to the website. I had a problem like this before and when I contacted the website it says that they'll get back to you within three days and they never got back to me after two weeks. I tried again and someone got back to me in a week saying that they were sorry and they're looking into it! I don't even know what that means! Ngl this might be the worst express wash I've been to. If you're coming down from the Redondo path on PCH, the first of two turns into the driveway for the wash is an exit. There wasn't real clarity on signs besides the real entrance on the second turn in, and navigation inside the lot was confusing. Service was friendly, which was really the only pro of coming here. Prices were over the top, starting at $15 for a simple wash which included about 20 seconds of total wash time and almost zero drying, leaving you to do most of the work with their stacks of towels spread around their vacuum stations. I was unsatisfied so I went back to ask for a redo as I thought something might have been messed up on the first run, giving them the benefit of the doubt. They gracefully obliged, but it turns out their machine is really just super inefficient. Annoyed, I took their towels and cleaned the leftover bird feces and my car for 10 minutes which looked like it was freshly hosed. To make matters more frustrating, several of their vacuum pumps didn't work properly. This place is like a model home, nice to look at from the outside, but vaporware from within. Hopefully the owner figures it all out, as I can't imagine they'll be in business much longer the way things are being run here. read more

Every time that my wife and I have come, the GM (Michelle) has been extremely patient, helpful and friendly. The prices aren't too bad for a monthly - I got the highest one which is $30/ month. It's hard to give you a run down on how "good" the wash is because every car is a different size and right now I have a pretty big EV9. You will have to dry your car after, but they provide towels in bins which is nice. Keep in mind, the morning towels are a bit damp so you may want to bring your own if that's an issue. It seems a lot of the issues people are having are with the cancellations of the monthly subscriptions. Hopefully they've fixed the issues they were having previously because I think it's a pretty solid place run well by Michelle. read more

I'm a fan of drive-thru options they tend to work out for me as I'm always off to another place. I signed up for the great deal they had last year at 21.99 for any location. Since then, prices have gone up. There are always workers around to ask a question if need be. They are always helpful. After your carwash, you drive over to an open slot and finish off cleaning your vehicle on the inside. They also furnish towels to dry off your vehicle, which I love this bonus!!! read more

My side mirror was broken off while going through the car wash, and trying to contact them has been a nightmare. After the incident, I received about six automated emails repeating the same message and didn't get an actual response until two months later. The customer service is terrible. I also noticed that after the incident, they added a sign at the entrance stating they wouldn't be liable for "plastic items breaking" on cars. This is the last email I received from them: "The Operations Leadership team indicated the item would be purchased by him. Please visit the location and speak with the District Manager (Richard) for assistance. The claims department no longer has this claim." The subscription concept is cool, and the staff are friendly, but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend bringing your car here unless you're okay with risking damage. read more

I recently canceled my membership. The service is great and the location is very conconvenient since im local. However there is one major issue. The tracks keeps scratching my rims. I was warned by a another customer, but I didn't listen until it happened to me. I was going through the washer when I heard a loud grinding noise against my tire. When I went to check my tire I noticed a new big scratch on my rim. There was another scratch that I had noticed soon after a previous visit, but was unsure about where it came from until my final visit. All of the scratches are on the drivers side front tire. I don't parallel park on that side so there's nothing rubbing against my tire from that side. I haven't been back there in about 3 weeks and there are no new scratches. read more
