Okay...first and foremost, I know it's weird to rate a service station at 5 stars, because they don't really do anything spectacular, however this service station really deserves it. Their customer service is ALWAYS on point! I've never encountered anyone rude or not smiling. I thought it was just the one younger guy who's always there, but it isn't. I've interacted with three separate employees and all of them are friendly, smile, super helpful; they greet you and ask how you are and they always wish you a good day. They explain the point system well and that you can accumulate points at two different stores to use for gas points...I didn't know that. I thought it was just one. The prices can be a little butt clenching sometimes, but if you use your rewards, you should see a little addition to your pocketbook. They have 8 service pumps and the area is always clean. If you need air or water, it's always free, which I love. Some service stations still charge to use it, which I think is ridiculous, but they don't. Even though their prices are higher, in consideration that 76 next door and San Pedro Gas & More down the street are cheaper, their gas is more quality and you know you're putting the good shit in your car. Some cars can take any type of gas, but there are others, like mine that require top tier gas and you can definitely feel the difference in performance. read more

Chevron is the best gas and you can use your phone number to save $.20 per gallon if you shop at Vons. It's the best gas it's recommended by Mercedes-Benz Ferrari and Maserati and BMW. There's gotta be something to that. I noticed I get more miles out of a tank and I occasionally use their Teon additive works really great on my 2005 Toyota Tacoma this gas station is in kind of a transitioning area that can be rough at times, but the store is always clean and people working there cheerful helpful and nice great gas and people. read more

Beware. I went Thursday ealy in the am to get cigarettes, and was over charged. Had to give the cashier my card through the security box. They charged me $61 for cigarettes. Never going back. Night time employee doing shady stuff. read more

1st gas station right off the 110S fwy when you exit into San Pedro. Kinda hard to get into sometime because Pedro has a lot of traffic right around there cause of the fwy. Nice and clean.... But when I went in around 2pm cashier did not have change for $100 bill- she said shift just changed. So watch out of that mid shift and make sure you have change or your ATM card. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, I can't. I love this Chevron for it's car wash and location; however, it has the worst customer service I have ever received. I have seen long lines on various occasions simply because it is impossible to receive good service. Specifically, the clerk who typically works the night shift lacks manners and common decency. Rude would be an understatement. He has worked at this Chevron for years and it's time for change. This man told me he was up a ladder and was unable to assist me. I was stuck outside waiting for 10 minutes for something that should have been a tops 2 minutes. I was ringing the bell to call for service but nobody was coming to the register and then i finally see him come down from his magical ladder and he told me the loyal chevron customer that i am, that if I were to ring the bell 1 more time, I would never get service again. First off the bell doesn't even make a noise and there's been times where other customers and have stood outside waiting at window since he locks the doors and we just wait and wait and knock on the glass, Unacceptable. Arco wouldn't even do me like that. This man needs a training manual. He never greets me or says goodnight. NADA !!! He's always a meanie to me :( but here i am always showing up for my nightly dose of bad energy. I don't want this man fired nobody wants to lose their job especially during these times, but can i get a hello or a have a nice night. Ya hate to see it. Whoever needs to reach out to me about this i would be more than happy to chop it up about this man because i have many many stories that need to be told. It's conveniently located by the freeway entrance; but you pay a price for that. So the gas isn't the cheapest and because it's near where the 110 N freeway is, it's also conveniently located for many others and is crowded. read more

There are already the higher priced gas station around. But their price on the pump should match the price with the digital sign says.. the Arco station was packed. But it does have inferior gas. I usually use Chevron gas anyway so I pulled in the gas station is cleaning up and there was nobody there. I swiped my credit card filled up my tank and as I was hanging up the nozzle I noticed that what the gas pump said versus what the digital sign on the street says was $0.05 different they overcharged me $0.05 per gallon. And a $0.20 more than Arco. But like I said I usually use a Chevron gas anyway I believe it's better quality. But they need to make sure their prices match read more

This station is EXTRA BUNK. The attendants are from another planet, like holy god man. The gas here is always about 5 to 10 cents more than it should be. But the absolute worst part is that I've never been able to get gas here without some random ass person hitting me up for money or trying to sell me something. I hate that SOOOOOO MUCH. If the attendants would do their job and get these people outa there I might go back, but as for now, 76 is a block away, better gas, better price, less people bummin it. read more

I will not buy gas from Chevron any longer because they continue to allow unsafe and unsanitary conditions at this station at 106 S. Gaffey St. in San Pedro, CA. Specifically, there is a growing homeless encampment adjacent to the station in an alley which the station has partial responsibility for. The people living there are harassing customers, dealing drugs and creating an unsafe environment. By ignoring this issue the station is contributing to the decay of our town. I will ask all my neighbors to join me in boycotting your brand until they take action to support the quality of life in San Pedro and address customer safety. read more

When looking for a gas station the most impirtant thing is price they usually have good prices. But also the place is clean and the workers are nice so its really everything you need. I'll usually save my fill up for this station read more

Been coming here for years and remember when gas was less $1.25 a gallon. Just dated my age, but it's okay. This place has pretty much stayed the same, except for the trees by the car wash and the car wash itself. Oh and the new signs. Overall, its a gas station and what else do I expect...nothing just good priced gas and they are about average I'd say compared to others. The only other Chevron is on 1st St which is some blocks up, more into Pedro. read more

Typical Chevron. Pricey, pricey, and still pricey. Horrible access but if you think about it anything on Gaffey is pretty rough due to the amount of traffic. Gas is expensive but... I used the car wash and it didn't do a very good job. I asked for my money back, the attendant told me to run my car through it again and it wasn't any cleaner. I asked for a refund again and the attendant said "what to you expect for $7.00 dollars" I will never go there again. read more

The price is bad (like ever where else) other than that everything is great. I've been coming here for more that 5 years and I have to say the ppl working there for the past 1 year or so have been the best staff in a while and very helpful. It's convenient 2 blocks away from the freeways. read more
