That said, convenience is pretty much where the positives end. It gets very crowded, and maneuvering around the gas pumps can be frustrating, especially during peak hours. You'll often encounter some... interesting individuals, and the lines inside to pay can be long and slow-moving. The overall upkeep leaves a lot to be desired. The area frequently feels dirty, several of the squeegees are broken, and the ones that work have water that smells downright unpleasant. I come here strictly for the price of gas, which is usually a good deal. Beyond that, I mostly grit my teeth and deal with the downsides. It works in a pinch, but it's far from an enjoyable stop.

Their customer service is ALWAYS on point! I've never encountered anyone rude or not smiling. I thought it was just the one younger guy who's always there, but it isn't. They explain the point system well and that you can accumulate points at two different stores to use for gas points...I didn't know that. I thought it was just one. The prices can be a little butt clenching sometimes, but if you use your rewards, you should see a little addition to your pocketbook. They have 8 service pumps and the area is always clean. If you need air or water, it's always free, which I love. Some service stations still charge to use it, which I think is ridiculous, but they don't. Even though their prices are higher, in consideration that 76 next door and San Pedro Gas & More down the street are cheaper, their gas is more quality and you know you're putting the good shit in your car. Some cars can take any type of gas, but there are others, like mine that require top tier gas and you can definitely feel the difference in performance.

Eventually, Betty came & knocked on my window to let me know I couldn't keep blocking that spot if I wasn't using the machine--I apologized for being such an airhead & explained to her what I was trying to do, she let me know that if I couldn't pay with a card then I could just come pay in-store (duh! My brain, or lack thereof, sometimes, I swear...). Once inside, she made sure I knew that I had to wait until the person in front of me was completely out of the wash before I entering my code or it would screw the system up.
