The girl who took my order was nice and patient. I ordered the fall menu matcha which had persimmon and spices and a bacon egg and cheese empanada. The space is beautiful and is the perfect environment for some peace and quiet or a nice convo if you sit outside. I was not a fan of the bacon, egg and cheese empanada as the contents tasted super processed exactly like a hot pocket. However, the matcha was incredible, great quality and I loved the flavor. I can't wait to return and try other items on the menu including some coffee!

This location has a smaller menu, but an experienced staff to recommend a good array of flavors within their drink choices. My significant other and I ordered: The Peaches seasonal latte: The freshness of the fruit shines through without overpowering the coffee. Brown Sugar Cinnamon latte: Every note balances each other out with minimal sweetness and an exaggerated flavor. I can confidently say this is one of the FEW places i've ever gotten coffee. Not the over sugared milky drink with drops of coffee flavor, but COFFEE!

Another customer in line even asked us if we've been before and told us about the fun latte flavors. My mom and I ordered a cold brew each, and it was my mom's favorite cold brew she's ever had! It was good, but it was interesting because near the end of our cups, we tried each others' drinks just for the sake of things, and they tasted different - mine tasted less coffee, whereas my mom's drink had a was stronger coffee flavor. Maybe they were from different batches? Nevertheless, cold brews were great and I would order again. Like other coffee roasters in the area, if you buy a bag of beans, you get a complimentary cold brew, coffee, latte (?)! I was tempted to purchase a bag but they are so popular and only had 1 type of bean left that I don't prefer - heh, I warned that I'm a coffee snob. Would definitely go again/ask family to purchase beans for us out of towners.

This review actually has two great businesses because I visited Klassic Doughnut's food truck too! Ok first things first. Every Wednesday through this Summer Klassic Doughnuts food stand will be available at COVA 8-11 AM. They are in my opinion the best cake doughnuts in our area. They are a major draw for COVA. I purchased a few to go. With COVA I specifically wanted to try their coffee. I was blown away upon arrival to see their outdoor space. It's huge and beautiful. On a weekday at 11 AM without school even out was busy! The counter service was helpful and friendly. I told the staff I wanted a black coffee and was directed to what beans were being offered. I opted for an Ethiopian pour over. The coffee comes in a large and priced competitive. It took a bit with being busy and a pour over, but boy was the wait worth it. Probably the best coffee I've had in any recent memory and I drink a lot of coffee. The space inside is compact, but they offer a side patio that's covered too! COVA is late to offering coffee, maybe 5 years or so. However, they are established with brewing award winning beer. I chatted with a female brewer a minute who was so sweet and invited me back for a glass. They also have a bakery case with offerings that looked good. So I need to return. So exciting to share such a gem in East Beach. Parking may be an issue, but off street neighborhood streets are available.

I like that while it is in Norfolk technically, it is super close to where I live in Virginia Beach. We tried their seasonal blueberry crumble latte and also had their Irish coffee. Both were very good ! I will say, they do not have a liquor license, so the Irish coffee does not come with Whiskey. Perfectly fine with me but wanted to set the expectation! I also tried their seasonal blueberry sweet cream and ohhh my goodness I wish I could buy a some to take home. So fresh, so good! The staff was super nice, and the outside area is a huge space with a variety of seating arrangements. It was a chillier morning and I do wish the fire pits were going but otherwise, super great, relaxing place to be! I really enjoyed my morning with my sister thanks to Cova!

Overall, this is a solid Filipino coffee shop in VA Beach that's worth checking out if you're in the area.

Stopped by Tea Lux Cafe for a lil boba break and boyyy... this place is a must-sip spot…read more I ordered the Oat Brown Sugar Fresh Milk with boba and physically said "mmm" out loud like I was in a food commercial. Easily one of the best brown sugar flavors I've ever had. Rich. Creamy. Life-changing. Because I make reckless (and delicious) decisions, I also tried the New Blueberry Matcha Latte -- kinda like if blueberry pie and matcha had a sweet little baby. A bit sweet for me, maybe because I didn't give it a full mix... or maybe because I needed to add boba. Either way, still vibed with it. Grabbed some food to-go but peeped the vibe inside -- super cute, perfect for laptop warriors and remote work fam. Ordering at the kiosk was easy, and staff were super helpful if you had questions or just looked confused (me, always). Food-wise I picked from staff's favorites: Spicy Bulgogi Banh Mi (with egg) -- Solid crunch. Flavor was decent, but could've used more bulgogi. Will definitely go extra spicy next time. Fried Buttered Corn -- crunchy, buttery, and served with sausage. It had a lot going on flavor-wise. Fun to try, but next time I'd probably go for the popcorn chicken instead. Final verdict: Come for the drinks -- I'll be sprinting back to try the whole menu. ‍ Food was decent -- a quick, easy spot for a light bite while you sip something fun.

Bánh mì đặc biệt 3/10 The bread was a regular baguette and was not made of the typical banh mi bread. There was no flavor and was quite bland. The sandwich was also extremely small and over priced at almost $8 Bot chiến 7/10 This was pretty good and had all of the components one would expect. They aren't too far away from Northampton Blvd. Coming from I-264, you can get off at Newtown Rd. and head north to it, as the road name does change to Diamond Springs Rd. Coming in while heading northbound is easier than if you were coming in the southbound direction. One thing I noticed is that parking can get limited here when there are lots of visitors to this shopping center. My visit here was on April 17, 2026. The first thing I noticed was parking. Although this is in a shopping center, parking can be hard to find at times, especially during peak times. I was able to find one on this visit, but there wasn't much available. The Yellow signage for the name of the business on the outside helps see it pretty quickly. When my mom and I came inside, it was already busy. There was a wait to get a table, but I wasn't totally surprised at that. It would take about 15 minutes to get a table. Once we got to the table, we had a chance to look over the menu for a moment before the server came around and asked for our drink orders. Water came to the table at that time too. I decided to try their Bloody Mary for a drink and my mom did a Pepsi. The Pepsi comes in a can. I want to note that they have vegan options on their menu, so that adds to the amount of items to choose from. They have a pretty big menu covering both breakfast and lunch options. After having some time to look over the menu, we were finally ready to order. I don't do French Toast too often, so I decided to do the French Toast Meal with scrambled eggs and bacon (crispy). My mom decided to go with the Veggie Egg Scrambler, adding cheese to it. She got white toast and bacon as the sides to go with it. While waiting for the food to come, I tried the Bloody Mary. It was in a tall thin glass. The Bloody Mary was good. After about ten minutes or so, the food came out to the table and it looked really good. The server brought over syrup for my French Toast, but I told her I didn't need it, as I don't normally do lots of sugary items. As we started eating, the food was definitely hot, which is great as it came out pretty much when it was done from the kitchen. The French Toast was really good and it was a great indulgence for me. The eggs and bacon were really good too. My mom liked the Veggie Egg Scrambler too. The only minor issue was that the salt dispenser was low on salt, so it was primarily just the rice at the bottom to keep the salt from binding together. Overall, this was a great first experience outside of events. Even though it was packed, the servers were on point to check things along the way. It was only towards the end where I didn't get a chance to catch them about the salt shaker, but I did let them know when we were headed out. Prices are quite reasonable for the amount of food you get, and there was no surcharge if you use a card of some sort instead of cash to pay. If you're looking for a great locally owned breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in that area of the city, this place is worth checking out.
