Leaving Wegman's I searched for a 7-Eleven on my route home that had the lowest price. This station was the closest one. Taking my normal route out the back of the grocery store parking lot onto Columbus Street, I referred to my GPS as normal to avoid traffic problems. Expecting it to send me across Virginia Beach Boulevard into Aragona Village, I was surprised that it directed me to continue on Columbus until the road became Cleveland Street. Well OK, there must be traffic. So I followed the path. How surprising it was when the 7-Eleven quickly showed up on the northeast corner of the intersections of Cleveland & Aragona. The location was just west of the spot where Columbus becomes Cleveland. The station was clean and well maintained. It was built in the design of the newest 7-Elevens. Even though it's in a somewhat "off the beaten path" location, the pumps were quite busy at the late afternoon time I frequented the store. Others obviously had discovered the station, since I can't envision that it would be the normal route home for many individuals. My 7-Eleven Rewards gave me a 12 cent discount. Instead of the store's $2.94 price my gasoline cost $2.82 a gallon. So convenient was the ability to complete the entire transaction and receive the receipt on the App. There was no card swiping or choosing gasoline type required on the pump. That's all done on the App. All I had to do was to fill my car with gas. The cold groceries I had just purchased were kept cool because of the quick and easy fuel stop. This 7-Eleven is the perfect stop after visiting my grocery store of choice. I'll be returning quite often.

I frequent this store a few times a week, and have always had excellent and friendly service from all employees except for tonight. I walk in, only customer, and proceed to the register. The female working had her cell phone in hand above the register, so I was in her direct line of sight. She never acknowledged my presence, no greeting, so I then said I'll have four packs of Marlboro Silver 100's, please. I had ID in hand as your staff always cards me, but she never asked for ID. She then put down the phone, moved slowly to reach for the packs - had she moved any slower she'd have been going backwards - rang up the packs, then walked over to the front window. Guess she assumed that I was paying by card and not cash. She never told me the amount of the purchase, so I asked if we were good, and what's my total. Her reply: you saw me ring 'em up, I put the smokes in the bag, the price is right there. Two other customers had entered the store by now, so instead of taking issue, I stated that I'd talk to the manager tomorrow. Her response: I don't care who you talked to, and then kept on with attitude about what she had done for the purchase. I departed. Tomorrow I will speak to the manager, and have this comment in hand for her review and whatever corrective action that she deems appropriate. There is no working hard to get the fruit off the core. Slice around the perimeter and just pull the sides apart, leaving only the core and no residue. They are absolutely perfect. Among my purchases was the Costco sized box of the Premier Protein Pancakes that I'm eating on my high protein diet. They come to packs of three and are soft, fluffy & yummy. Included in my food tracking is the 16g of protein that each serving of 3 provides. The final purchase today was one of their store prepared Kirkland Signature entrees. I thought my voice might have improved enough to eat out tonight. But I still have to strain and don't want to risk the progress. Costco's CHICKEN ALFREDO is prepared using their rotisserie chicken. It is made the perfect meal by adding frozen green peas, which make for a balanced meal. Delivery is especially beneficial. Thank you Costco for being my "go to" for some of my favorite foods.

My daughter instantly noticed the shake and smoothie machine and told me I had to try it out since she's had it before. The concept of the machine was super cool. You select the cup of shake or smoothie from the freezer, place it in the machine, select your level of thickness, then the machine turns it into the drink. I chose the Oreo flavor and it was very tasty. Once we ordered our chicken from the kiosk, we paid for our meals and chatted with the staff about Royal Farms. She shared with us the perks of signing up for the Royal Farms Rewards Card and how it helps you save on gas, among other benefits.
