there's no space to swipe it here cuz a box is right next to the card.

such poor service and you'll be very hard to swipe your card by the cashier. You have no space. I've attached a pic. If you're trying to move the item a bit 1inch, a cashier push the item back! Nasty.

7-11 is your all purpose, fairly priced convenience store. This location is a block from Canal Street, and ideal for the locals and tourists. This particular location isn't the largest, or the friendliest, but it's your standard 7-11. Coffee, snacks, slushies, pre-packaged bagels, sandwiches, etc... They frequently have sales or combo deals (2 for $2, 2 for &2.22) on beverages or snacks, but beware of just purchasing one item, you will not be given any discount. Often times, the coffee area is a bit dirty, or even out of stock, but an employee will replenish quickly, if you bring it to their attention. Overall, they serve their purpose, have some good deals, but often have a slow moving line, but still well worth the visit and a better option and more bargains than a Duane Reade, or other convenience store, especially in Manhattan. FYI: you may encounter a homeless individual outside, I've become accustomed to it, never hurts to do your civic duty and purchase them a coffee and/or donut. Also, I saw some fellow Yelpers mention an odor, that issue seems to have been alleviated.

I was around the area to pick up a quick meal at the nearby McDonald's. I usually stop in a 7 Eleven to buy drinks as they usually have decent prices. They almost always have a BOGO deal for their 1L water bottles. The clerk that rang me up was quick so I was on my way in no time.

Great place to quench my slurpee cravings. As a previous review mentioned, the place is smelly, but that is only the exterior because of all the homeless people outside. I went in and it smelled like my favorite foods (taquitos and corn dogs) so I had to get some along with my slurpee. As of now they are doing a promo (3 for 3$ taquitos or corn dogs). Reason for 3 stars: the slurpee prices weren't listed so I bought a small when it would have been cheaper/worth it for me to buy a large. (Oh well let's just pretend I have a small appetite). Also it took a while before someone noticed I wanted some hot foods while there were 4 workers and it was not busy. Despite this, I will be back to 7-11 even if it is a chain because I love their slurpees along with their food and the convenience of the store. Do not forget to download their app! Its buy 6 drinks get any 7th drink free!

They have some good tasting apple fritters here. Its kind of a surprise to me.. But I have heard on occasion that their donuts are good and similar to krispy kremes sugar glazed style. The apple fritters are a good deal at 2/2.44. Not sure if its quality ingredients but tastes pretty good to me. Besides that, I wish that they had more sugar free slushy options. Just saying. Since they have so many sugar laden slushy options. What kinda person eats sugary donuts with sugar free slushies? This girl! Its all about balance people. Time and time again this has held true for me. Its about going into a seemingly bad food spot like 7/11 and finding the actually yummy food but then making it ok with the balance of a chemicly sugar free drink. Yeah.

Stopped here due to a fellow traveler having physical complaints which required topical analgesic…read morerelief. Walking many miles per day was a new routine and caught up with her, so very thankful to locate this convenient location and find every item she wanted on her long list. Store was well stocked and merchandise was easily accessible. Staff were helpful and efficient.

Recently I'd ordered two bottles of Extra Strength Antacid Tablets from CVS, when I had a discount…read morecoupon. Unfortunately their expiration date is just several months from now, and meanwhile each bottle has 250 pills (admittedly the suggested dosage is 3 pills at-a-time, but still....). There's no way we'd consume anywhere near 500 of those pills by their expiration date, so I wanted to exchange them for bottles that have a more reasonable expiration. Today I had to be just one block from this store for a medical appointment, and fortunately there were (only) two bottles available - and their expiration date was *much* more generous. I went to the cashier's counter, and the cashier explained that she needed to have a supervisor handle the exchange (and I'd brought my receipt with me). The shift supervisor was inexplicably *nasty*, and from the very beginning. Meanwhile; she told me she couldn't do an "even exchange" because the flavor was different than the ones I'd purchased (?!) - so she said I'd have to return the ones I'd bought and then purchase the other ones. I told her that I'd used a discount coupon when making the purchase, whereas a "new" purchase would *not* provide the discount. She continued being nasty and suddenly disappeared, and then she *finally* reappeared many minutes later. At that point she told me she'd confirmed with the store manager what she'd told me - but she should have had the courtesy to at least tell me why she was suddenly leaving, and her nastiness was totally inexcusable. Now I'm going to contact the CVS Customer Service Department, but I shouldn't have to waste so much time re: this situation - and most importantly, CVS shouldn't have an employee who's so nasty. (The only reason why I'm giving two stars instead of one is because a very pleasant employee helped me find the location of the pills).
