I have visited here after work in the afternoon. The cashier guy was always friendly and welcoming. He let me get some hot water when I made a $1 purchase. I wasn't here for few weeks, because my Lyft ride driver hit the curb in this parking lot 3 weeks ago. This last Friday, I came around 7 pm evening time after a long exhausting day. My arms were so sore I couldn't aim hot water into my bowl. The cashier Ashu said nothing in the beginning until I asked him for napkins. He saw me put hot water in my own bowl. He scolded at me loudly saying I couldn't use hot water on my own bowl. I freaked out and wanted to make a purchase right away. I slipped my hands again because I was really really tired. He was so mean, luckily, there's another Asian American man showed up to help calm him down. I visited back in an hour, he finally said nothing rude to me. Never coming back here. The employee working 4/30/2026 @ 9:30pm is hostile. I came to pickup my doordash order and he yells at me that my order was cancelled. I see that his system says cancelled, but my app says ready for pickup. I got charged full price in my bank. I stepped over to the side to contact doordash support, but he started yelling and shoo gesture me to get out of the store and leave, as if I DID something wrong. I'm just quietly contacting support. Very rude owner. Listing on door dash was a 12oz cheez its but he packed a 3oz. I pointed out the mistake and asked for the correct size showing the receipt. I asked if he was the owner and said "I understand if it's a mistake I won't make you honor the order". He crushed the small bag threw it on the counter telling me he would not be changing my item and to pick up my own items off the shelf next time not DoorDash. In Monterey Park, there are about four 7-Eleven's! I'm not kidding. (1)-Monterey Pass Rd & Floral, (2)-Pomona Blvd & Wilcox, (3)-Arroyo Dr & Potrero Grande, and his location right here. I like this location because the crew is very friendly and it's a nice feeling when you walk in and you are recognized and made to feel welcome. For some reason, this location is very busy for lotto tickets. Almost every time I come here I'm stuck behind a customer either buying tickets or checking their numbers lol. PROS: Always well stocked. Large selection of coffee that is fresh. I drive for Uber so I need my coffee! Soda fountains are always well maintained and never "out of order". CONS: Sticky parking lot! This location has a large parking lot but it's also a pick up and drop off for tourist buses (the type that go on turn-a-round trips to Vegas)!The passengers must throw their drinks on the ground because the parking lot is always sticky. This 7-11 is probably the cleanest and the friendliest you can ever get to a full customer service. Like I literally went to all of the 7-11 around the San Gabriel valley and to be honest, they're all bad. I have never seen a 7-11 with a real 5 star service or try to gain a five star service! The only reason why I come is cause I live literally one street away. I always come here when I get late night craving for their juicy hotdogs, hot cheetos with cheese (they charge 50 cent for the cheese), drinks& etc. To be honest i had no bad experience with their customer service these past yrs ive lived her since 2005. I go there to get Lotto tickets or drinks, and every time I would go in, he gives me the coldest stare one can give. One time, I came in with my nephews to get some drinks, he sees us standing in front of the counter as we are ready to get ringed up, but the jerk was adding hot dogs to the heater as slow as a snail. We were right next to him! He sees me and my nephews, but he purposely neglected us. You serve customers first ding dong head, then you go back pretending you're working. Hell, when we came in, he was just standing around. All of a sudden hot dogs needed to be rotated manually. We waited too long for him (3-4 minutes, even though we were the only souls there in the store - the place was empty) so we left without putting our drinks back in the fridge. I don't recommend going to this 7-11. It's a convenience store, but professionalism is still expected, right? Well, this store had no trace of this professionalism. It seems to be family-run. I understand how much the store would mean to an employee that's a part of the family, but was it really necessary to follow me around the store when I was minding my own business? I'm not even shady looking. How intimidating can I be as a skinny 5'4" Asian in a tee and leggings? I came to this store on a weekday with one of my friends. We were browsing the store in search of a good snack, when we noticed one of the employees blatantly staring in our direction. We continued to walk throughout the aisles, and to our surprise, the employee followed us, still staring. Ultimately, we decided to leave because of the horrible attitude we were receiving from that employee. It was as though that employee was expecting us to steal, which is incredibly offensive and disrespectful. This store needs to have their priorities straightened out. They need to be tending to their customers instead of making them feel unwelcome. It infuriates me seeing how they treat their potential customers. This is my go-to when it comes to snacks, atm, drinks, and everything else. Living super close to this place, I come here 3 or 4 times a day because it's just a skip and a hop away. I come here so often the people who works here often give my sister and I free sandwiches and muffins. They're super nice and it's just so conveniently located for a fatty like me. It's almost like my own mini store. Running low on hot cheetos, get over to 7-eleven! This one is a small one that is located on the cross streets of Alhambra Ave. & Garvey. This 7-Eleven DOES NOT have a Redbox machine outside. You just go in & get what you need. Nothing special, but I don't like the workers here. They don't know their own store specials and like to overcharge. Good grief, this place is very unpopular with many. My experiences are much different. My girl and I are here each weekend, We buy large coffees and the coffee here is damn good. More than once the nice lady has come over to the coffee area and made us a fresh pot when it is not so fresh. And the man at the register always tries to get us to take two donuts, and we argue about that but not really in a bad way. We don't do sugar, he says a little bit should be OK. He really razzes my girl on the donut thing but she can dish it out as well as take it. Now, we do not live in the area, but I have been here at least 30 times and have never been disrespected or overcharged. My only gripe is no public restroom, but I think that is standard issue. read more

i live near here so i go here all the time. This is like any other 7'11. They have beer, snacks, coffee, slushee, soda and an atm inside. Good thing is it has a redbox outside. Major downside is the small parking lot which always gets packed. I always come here and buy arizona, brisk and snacks. What is really good is the terayaki beef jerky but it is 2 dollars a piece.
