It had been awhile since I had a slurpee, and since it was a hot, summer day, I ventured over for a free slurpee. The staff was friendly, and the customers were happy to quench their thirst. This store has a small parking lot, and there is plenty of nearby street parking. I would recommend coming to this location.

Either that or like one reviewer said, some tryna embezzle money... so don't bother getting something for sale unless you're getting something small. Secondly, this location does not accept EBT cards, which is very weird because most 7-11 stores accept them, just not hot food which I am aware of, I wanted to point this out too and it's not a good location for that kind of payment. A few months ago when my husband and I ran in to pick up a few things we couldnt help but notice a wonderful smell of fried chicken coming from their kitchen. We decided to give it a try it and were pleasantly surprised. The chicken was seasoned so well, and cooked perfectly. We have since found out they offer "Taco Tuesdays" so, we tried it and again we were so impressed with the quality of the meat and flavors. We have ordered carry out Taco dinners twice now and the tacos (soft or hard) were spot on. If you happen to be down this way kayaking on Mallows Bay or hiking in one of our many trails you should stop in and grab lunch/dinner at a table in the bar area or carry out. They have a carry out menu with several food options.

I opted for the two breakfast sandwich deal they had going on and threw in some hashbrown bites. finished tapping on the screen and even though I had already bought a drink at another location, I wanted something sweet. Back to the coolers I went. Used the self checkouts here as well. Scanned and paid for all my stuff and went to find a place to stand while the food was prepared. It would have been quicker if I hadn't gotten the hashbrowns, but a little wait never hurts. Once I had my food, I went out to my vehicle to get things set up so that I could eat and drive. The sandwiches were hot and being wrapped in the foil kept them that way. Hashbrown bites were the perfect way to cap off this quick breakfast meal.
