This is quite an impressive IHOP! The food was delicious and not overly greasy like you find at many other IHOP's. I ordered the Strawberry Banana French Toast Combo. The eggs were fluffy, sausage full of flavor, and French toast was great and just right! The hashbrowns were a little dry but still delicious. Our server, Brandee, was absolutely amazing!!! She was friendly, personable and so informative about all things ihop. I've gone to so many restaurants and barely saw my server, drinks were empty, needed napkin, etc. Not Brandee - she anticipated our needs even when she was on her break. I wish that I could give zero stars but I can't... My mother was visiting from Kansas City and she really wanted IHOP (her favorite restaurant) and was super happy to see one was so close to where we live so I said why not? I can honestly say that it is the WORST IHOP IVE EVER BEEN TO! We walked in and the hostess looked at us and asked rudely "can I help you with something?" I just looked at her confused and told her "yeah we would like to sit and eat..?" What a strange way to talk to someone and especially since we came in to eat there. (???) We got seated and I was still worried for my mother (who last year suffered a stroke and couldn't speak that well or at all so needs my help to translate for her) so I was a little annoyed but maybe thought she was having a bad day so I let it go... Wish I could say the same for our server though... We wanted to order and my mother was having trouble speaking and so I was helping her. The waiter looked annoyed after only a few moments and then looked at her and asked her rudely "ma'am would you just tell me what you would like?" I stopped and looked at him and looked shocked and then told him "did you just really talk to my mother like that?! She needs help speaking since she suffered a stroke and I don't appreciate at all you speaking to my mother like that. Let me speak to your manager.. now please" We waited as that server rolled his eyes and walked to the back. The manager NEVER came out to speak to us. After a while we got our food and IT WAS COLD! My family, two adults and four children enjoyed our breakfast this morning. Two of the children were celebrating their birthday. Our server, Brandi Odd, went above and beyond to make our experience special. The children enjoyed the birthday treatment as well as their pancakes, eggs and bacon, etc. My avocado toast was perfect. Had to wait even though the restaurant was half empty. Placed our order with 3 different members of waitstaff. Waitstaff was in the kitchen eating and drinking. When asked if we were forgotten our order came, partially after almost 30 mins. Had to ask for refills and condiments. The hardest workers were 2 young men busing tables. The manager complained to any and all he was having to seat customers and serve. When leaving was told we could come to 55+ dinner days. Rude. IHOP you should really come and review this site. I decided to ride a little further and stop here for sone good old pancakes. As I pull up I'm thinking perfect timing because the lot is somewhat empty. I walk in and the lobby is packed full of people. Customers are standing and no one is upfront to assist. Plenty of empty seats, tables needing to be cleaned. I understand if you are short staff but you've got to get creative. The staff moving with no sense of urgency. Customers start to get frustrated including me. All we want is great service and food. IHOP you lost money today and returning customers not because of your food, but because of the standards and quality of service. Well I've been here twice and I've realized there is a strange genius to their business plan. The key is that while you wait at the hostess stand for 15 minutes in an empty restaurant, and the 6 employees stand around pretending to be engrossed on their smartphones, you get so impatient that you don't check that your order is correct. Anyways, the place is empty. There are no other orders to confuse your with. By the time you get home, and discover they've given you a bag of packaged condiments, cold sides, and plastic silverware, it's too late to do anything about it. Thankfully we had a waitress stop by and offered to help us and she did. So much angst over an IHOP. I mean personally I try to avoid the places in all but the most extreme cases simply because the only I get bent out of shape about is their prices. Spent way too much time trying to push their BOGO milkshake promo down our throats instead of actually taking our order. On the backside things weren't any better as we had a good 10-15 minute wait for the check as she was doing ?? She had maybe three tables. Maybe she was part of the group smoking out in front of the places as we walked in? Food: It's breakfast stuff. Pretty hard to blow omelets, pancakes, sausage, bacon and crepes. Everything tasted fine although as I mentioned prior, the value truly is not here. You could get similar at a local diner for 1/2 the cost and have it taste the same or better. Sure it's not going to be coated in whipped cream, cremes, powders, sauces, glazes or shellackes but does it have to and if it does, should the added expense be that much more? I digress. The location is great as we were across the street from the hotel although note that the shopping complex is so new that Google currently does not have the address. If you put it in you'll get nothing. Overall we had no issues with the food but the prices are out of line with reality and the service is indeed slow as hell. We came again on a weekday and I had probably the worst service I have ever had in my entire life! I ended up having a hair in my eggs so I sent them back. They brought our our food and not our daughters. Turns out the waitress forgot to put my 1 year olds pancake order in until after we got our food. I didn't get my eggs back until after my whole family had eaten their dinner. The manager never offered to come by the table he was hiding in the kitchen. I went up to the coffee bar and asked to speak to him and he didn't apologize but asked me "didn't you get your food?" He did end up giving me a discount which I was grateful for but we won't be coming back for dinner for awhile. This place needs a SERIOUS revamp on their staff. Don't recommend. I got a bacon burger it came with no bacon no mayo like I asked an no ihop sauce like I asked a was raw in the middle. When I asked for mayonnaise and ihop sauce they brought me ketchup. Then I had to ask again a was only brought mayonnaise after 10 minutes I didn't even bother asking for bacon. So me and my buddy stopped in here to have a bite to eat. I have to say all IHOP are not the same. I've been to a few IHOPs in Brooklyn New York and they never offered me a choice of syrup they just brought the maple syrup and place it on the table. Had I know that they offered sugar free syrup or that the syrup is warm I would have ordered it a long time ago and saved myself from having so much sugar on my pancakes. The place was very neat my utensils were shiny and clean. I ordered the spinach and mushroom omelette which came out very hot my pancakes were so hot that once they were brought to the table I saw half of the butter that they usually give you a scoop of already melted. My buddies had the sampler plate the first plate came out with the hash browns being cold but immediately the plate was bought back to the kitchen and a new plate brought back to us and we can't complain everything was on point. We will definitely stop here again if we're ever in King George thank you IHOP of King George for a wonderful breakfast. read more

Was in the area and stopped in. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The food was typical IHOP food, but what set this experience and this restaurant apart was the exceptional service. Jennifer and Haley were the only two servers working the floor. They were both extremely courteous, friendly to all, and super attentive to the patrons. In a time when staff is difficult to come by and seems like the ones that you can find do not go above and beyond, these two not only represented themselves well, they give good reason to come back. I have been to many IHOP locations, however this has been one of the worst. I came here at 8pm on a Friday to order hash browns, grits, and a cup of fruit. It took 45 minutes to get my hash browns and grits, and another 10 minutes to get my cup of fruit. I would have completely understood if the restaurant was packed, however, the only other customers were a family of 3. While I can see 7 distinct people in the area, there's only 1 or 2 who look to be taking orders, and I don't know how many in the kitchen. I waited over 30 min for my order to be done. It sounds like the kitchen is backed up more than anything because a number of people keep coming up to ask about their food. Understandably the wait staff don't want to be out if the food isn't ready, however that leads to a number of people having to walk up and ask for refills as well as reminder for drinks they orders. There need to be more people getting the food done, then the wait staff doesn't have to be constantly back and forth (possible wait staff is doubling down for lack of kitchen staff). Every wait staff when asking for the orders also can be heard to say "may I speak?" before they put their order in. read more
