Staff is truthful and honest. For instance, someone dropped their drink and they remade it with no problem whatsoever. It's hard to find a coffee place like that. I find that to be a reason to return as accidents do happen and some coffee places will charge you again for an accident. Some of the food items can appear high in price but other than that, they were good.

I absolutely fell in LOVE with this coffee shop in the city!…read more My friend and I decided that after lunch we would find a nice coffee shop to sit and enjoy the rest of our work day! We were on the hunt for a place that had a lot of seating, a good coffee menu and also sold pastries, and Otto's checked off all the boxes! I always say that when you are able to find front parking, also, you are exactly where you are meant to be, and somehow some way, we found just that! We both ended up ordering their wedding cake latte, that we later found out that changes colors based on whatever wedding they are hosting in the hotel they are located in. HOW COOL! The latte was FANTASTIC! I love when a coffee shop serves it in glass when you are deciding to sit for a bit! It felt so welcoming! I also decided to order their pound cake which was FANTASTIC! SO moist and perfect with my latte! However, the true star of the show has to be the ambiance! It's located in downtown in the Adolphus hotel and it is STUNNING inside! You truly get a city coffee shop experience at OTTO's! They had plenty of chairs and tables, as well as plugs! Which made our visit that much more great! Overall, I highly recommend it, and I will definately be back!

We came here for breakfast while staying downtown, walkable from the hotel which was a big plus. I…read morewould not recommend driving here, parking is a nightmare. Walk if you can. Coffee was decent, nothing to rave about. My cappuccino was served in a paper cup which I was not thrilled about. We were eating inside, not taking anything to go, so there was no reason for that. Paper cups influence the flavor of a hot espresso and I drink mine with no sweeteners specifically because I want to taste the actual shot. The espresso was also slightly burnt, which tells me the machine needs a good cleaning. Iced coffee is a different story but for hot cappuccinos, ceramic makes a real difference. My husband's coffee was good though and he was happy with his. Breakfast sandwiches were the toaster style, similar to what you'd expect from a place without a full kitchen. I genuinely enjoyed mine. My husband was not impressed by his. Overall it was a good enough time. We would not go out of our way to come back but if we were in the downtown area and needed a reliable spot in a pinch, we would stop in again. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.

Tried the banana cloud matcha with 2 shots of matcha. Tasted great! Matcha isn't as strong as I like but the banana flavor adds a subtle sweetness. Kudos for the cutie cups! I almost want to keep it! Haha.

When I am looking for good coffee, I specifically try and find places that roast their own beans. Ascension Coffee offers a variety of their roasted beans that they use in their coffee which is available for purchase. The coffee itself was great and not bitter. They offered a variety of lattes, and out of the 2 tried, I enjoyed both of them. I'm sure any of the coffees you try here are gonna taste great. Next time I am in Dallas, I'll make sure to stop by here for a quick coffee break.

Cafe Duro is a must when visiting the Lower Greenville area!…read more I recently visited this amazing European-style café during breakfast on a weekday and it was amazing. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.
