With so many of this chain's stores so close together, one of them has to really stand out in order for me to choose one store over another. Went there on Halloween night and none of the customers or employees had a mask but myself and when I approached the counter to place my beer I stepped back while the gentleman scanned my beer and I asked him to kindly put on a mask... he laughed at me and when I said it was for my safety and his ... there was a gentleman at the atm in a mask who agreed ... and the clerk laughed again .. I thanked the man for agreeing with me The only reason I didn't walk out was because we were going home and this 7-11 was open ... I only have gone to this one a few times but I will never be going again ... It was on our way home after a long night of work ... I will be contacting the store owner ... Easily the worst 7-11 I have ever experienced. I purchased a 12 pack of beverages which had multiple sales tags displaced in the case. Upon check out the promotion did not display. I asked the employee why that would be. He responded "sometimes the sales work, sometimes they don't, that's up to the 7-11 people." I asked if he worked for 7-11 and the employee laughed in my face then became extremely confrontational. He then called his co-worker from the back room on his cell phone. Employee #2 showed up on the scene with no shoes; looking incredibly disheveled. He asked me to read the sales tag no less than 5 times in a row, to which I responded "yes, I have". He then asked me "WTF?" I chose to leave and not escalate the scenario any further. Absolutely deplorable behavior. Oddly enough, as I was leaving, employee #1 was already in another altercation because he did not want to cash a customer's scratch off lottery ticket. After reading a few reviews here after the experience, I noticed the employees I had the interaction with were mentioned here previously. I happen to stop by this place quite often most of the time just to grab cash do to the fact that I bank with a C.U. And they have the co-op ATM's love it but every once in a while I will grab a snack or the never fail big gulp. The store is always clean and the help is always friendly. And sometimes you can get a decent price on the gas. For this one I'll say it's a 7-Eleven it is what you get but I think the help there makes it one of the better ones in the area. read more

I know,I know....7-Eleven. How special can it be and why would I review a 7-Eleven. Well this one is special. It is one of 4 7-Elevens off Knott ave within about a mile of each other. This one is near the Tom Cat bar and a Laundry Mat South of Crescent and Knott. Not only is it my favorite 7-Eleven but it is one of the newer ones. It is still crisp and clean. The coffee section is always stocked with the perfect creamers and extras to give my coffee the kick it needs. Very very important. Some 7-Elevens have stale coffee and boring creamers, not this one. They also have snack necessities for road trips like chips, trail mixes, beef jerkey, candy. All the stuff thats bad for you. If your into healthy stuff they got you covered with Quest Bars, those protein cookies, bananas, water, stuff like that. The girls that work here are so nice. This review is for the 711 on the corner of Cerritos and Knott I would give a half a star if possible I live right up the street from this place every time I went in here I have had the worst experience I will no longer be shopping at this one any longer the woman behind the counter I call God's wasted skin she is so rude and miserable that you can't stand being around her I asked for some hot wings and was told it would take 20 minutes when every other 711 does it in five minutes there was no food the beer shelves were empty I asked for a certain beer I was told what u see is what we have this woman is so miserable she needs a new profession I put it off that she was having a bad day but every encounter I had with her has been awful for now on I will be going to the 711 that is a mile away a least I know I will be treated with proper courtesy and what I'm looking for will be in stock and the staff on Cerritos and valley view are excellent maybe they need to be retrained at this location they know how to treat a customer horrible place would not wish this experience on my worst enemy enough is enough something had to be said read more

I am writing this review to show my gratitude and appreciation to 7eleven on 8761 Knott Ave. in Buena Park, California. I had a problem and I voiced my opinion over an irate employee. After my confrontation I went in and spoke to a man named Sam and he assured me that it would never happen again. As we were speaking that employee arrived in the store. Sam questioned him and he confirmed the confrontation. Sam then explained to him that he is never to have an argument with the customers and specifically toward me because I am a regular for three tears now. The employee apologized and now the problem has turned into an achievement. I want to commend Sam for his professionalism and assured him that I will always be their customer. By far the best 7-11 I've experienced. Everything's always stocked. The layout is conducive enough to allow people to walk through. I love that their #1 seller (for me) chips are right next to the check out instead of candy. Customer Service is always top notch. I always get a "welcome" or "hello" when I walk through the door. They DO charge for bags which has never been a problem for me but just FYI. Con: it's right next to a bar so I completely avoid it on Friday/Saturdays. There's not a single parking spot ever when I drive by. 7-11 should have at least a couple 5-minute only parking spots. That'd really help. read more

I have been going to 7-Eleven every day since I was 14 years old and in my 30 years of going I have never been to a 7-Eleven with the level of customer service, cleanliness, stock levels and available freshly cooked items as this location. I drive by other 7-Eleven's to go to this one. My experience and my observations of how they treat customers is like going to a second home where each customers is greated with a smile and treated respectfully. They always go out of their way to insure 110% customer satisfaction from preparing food on the spot or informing each customer of the specials of the day. Good job guys. You do a stellar job.
