One of the best 7-elevens I've been to. The parking lot is big compared to a most 7-elevens in LA so parking is easy. There's also a really wide driveway on both sides to make exiting and entering easy, especially when other cars are coming the other way. The store is well kept, clean, and organized. The part that really stood out to me is the service. Right when I walked in the clerk greeted me with a big friendly smile and while I was checking out he was very cheerful and friendly. I don't know what to say that hasn't been said about any other 7-11. They're 25 hours and will have a random enough assortment of goods for one to get a hot meal, drunk, clean their house, munch out, or even stop in and grab a last minute card or gift... Terrible customer service. While using my card I accidentally pulled it out of the machine too early and had to redo the transaction. On the second attempt my card didnt go through (fraud protection). The clerk raises his voice and says, "pay cash now!" I use another card I had and pay. Payment goes through and the clerk slams the receipt and yells at me to next time put money on my card in front of other customers. I've been going to this 7-11 for years and I've never been treated like this here or any where for that matter. Horrible service. I bought a double gulp and paid with a $20 Bill. The clerk counts out $18 in singles. I could see he had 5s and 10s. I told him to give me a 5 and 10. He said he couldn't because they were a bundle. I told him to open the bundle, and he said no. I asked for the manager and was told that they weren't there. I said fine give me my money back and keep the drink. He pushes the stack of singles at me and told me to leave and never come back. He had no name badge so I have no idea who he is. Having a 7 Eleven so close to Valley and Garfield is always a plus. Pretty standard 7 Eleven...has all it's convenience store items and it's own parking lot (I hate it when they share a lot with other places!) Would have given them more stars but.... Went in and purchased 2 small Slurpee. The Slurpee Cup a little defect had a little bit of watery slurpy that leak out just below the lid cup. rather than throw my cup away or try to use too many napkins to containthe leak, I grabbed another cup to catch the broken Cup . We got to the counter the cashier said that we could not use double Cups . He took the cup from my daughter which had slurpy juice, somegoodlocks, and sticky handprints from the kids on the side, put it by the sink and said that he would put them back . I asked him if he was going to wash and reuse the cup and he stated yes! Yuck! Don't know what to think now. It makes me second guess their hygiene habits when it comes to the food. Decent 7/11 at a great location.Parking lot is nice and spacious.Every item seems fresh and coffee is often refilled.I dont like this location better than the location on montezuma and fremont.I am biased towards that location because the cashier and workers are more friendlier than this location. read more

The inside of the store is clean, but the outside sometimes has a bit of litter. The staff varies in friendliness. Two are outgoing and smile. I come here whenever I'm in the area in need of some breath mints or something refreshing to drink. Or if I'm really in the bind, some munchies or beer. They keep this location really clean, and it is open 24-hours, unlike some 7-eleven's I've been to, that actually temporarily close from 3am-6am. WEIRD right? If you've ever been to a 7/11 you will know what this one consists of. Staff are friendly enough, as much as they need to be I guess and there is a handy redbox outside. Pretty standard 7-11, the employees are always courteous and helpful, and the place is always well-stocked. I love that they sell raw almonds in a box, which I haven't seen in any other 7-11.
