Well.. not really worth the cheat meal. The beef patty was really dry and the flavours just weren't there. Once the food was ready, we weren't even called to get it, it was just placed on the ledge. We wouldn't have known it was our order had I not asked. Ordered Richview burger - wasn't spicy as noted on the menu either Philly cheese steak- lacked flavour Milkshakes - really good

Visited here for take-out food. Ordered #1. Kingsway (Steak Sandwich) $15 #2. Bayview (Beef burger with fried Mozzarella) $14 #3. Spicy mayo fries #4. Poutine My impressions : - #1-3: tasted the same, due to overuse of mayo-based dressing. - #3&4: Fries were dry, and the badly done fries were covered by excessive sauce (gravy or mayo), which made me feel cheated. - #1,2 & 3: Cheese was hard, not melty. Overcooked? Or bad quality? If you expect the meltiness of cheese in #1, don't. Hard crust, hard cheese. I was also disappointed by #1's small amount of steak pieces compared with the size of the bread. All I tasted was bread and mayo. The beef was extremely dry and chewy. Conclusion: If you want to load yourself with calories, that is a perfect place to go. But this place is way pricier than McDonald's. Half an hour of wait. But I do not blame the employees - only two of them were cooking/taking orders for many customers. They were polite and nice.

The side of onion rings were an awesome side to go along with it!!! My wife had the Cooksville which was a nice simple little burger Price was reasonably decent Overall this was another great meal and a great burger that I would definitely recommend

Full disclosure here. We went there on a Saturday night at 7:00 pm First off the kitchen was a bit disorganised. While we waited 27 minutes to eat there there was a log jam of Skip the Dishes and Door Dash drivers waiting to get their orders. The front door was broken so off its hinge which meant the door stayed open a bit too long or it slammed shut. I ordered the Park Side with onion rings and a chocolate milkshake. My partner ordered their cheese burger with fries and a fountain drink. In fact, the number of different burgers on the menu made remembering the unique name harder for her. Something to be said about reviewing the menu ahead of time. I did think that with the prep staff sporting beards that a facial net would be mandatory but clearly not. But after the first bite all I could taste nothing but garlic. The taste was strong and I half though it was fresh garlic versus roasted. Both the fries and onion rings were less than warm. However the milkshake was out of this world good. Very chocolatey and not that sweet. In hindsight I might have asked to skip the whipped cream. The burgers were well cooked but the aioli completely over whelmed the meal. All I could taste was garlic. The place is self serve and the selection of condiments is only ketchup. You have to ask for salt or pepper. The place serves as an reminder of Drake with a large portrait of OVO on the wall. But at $54.00 for both meals it is a very steep price for a sub par cheese (garlic) burger. So disappointed.

The burgers were okay but not as good as Burgernator in Kensington Market. The fries were a lil overfried and devoid of potato inside. The food is bit overpriced for the taste n quality. Took foreverrrrrrr when the restaurant was near empty. My big thumbs down is that even though this is a "halal meat" venue and public restaurant open to all ages and families, they were playing music with lots of profanity and offensive language. We were with kids in the restaurant and they didn't change the music. The kids were in shock and kept pointing out the frequent swear words. As a Muslim business with Muslim employees on-site this was highly offensive, disappointing and embarrassing. Even non-Muslim fast food restuarants have more integrity than this. I emailed the restaurant and later sent them messages on ig requesting a response but they ignored it all. Go to Burgernator instead. Its worth every penny. Best fresh burgers ever.

We live close to here and have been meaning to try their burgers. I had a Rosedale which is crushed portabelo mushroom and cheddar cheese. The food was really good, the fries were really tasty. My partner had a Riverdale she liked and my mom had a guildwood she said was good. I think this place has dethroned The Works as best burger in Pickering.

New burger place in Pickering and just had to check it out. They definitely have some crazy burgers to try and the steak sandwiches are pretty massive that it can actually feed 2 people. Staff is super friendly too. I gave it a four because their sides are not worth it. When you pay $5 for a side of fries and it's fries that you get from Costco it's a huge disappointment. But definitely have the burgers!

The fries are the worsttt. Taste so stale and dry. Burger doesn't taste very good either. Try somewhere else.

Ryan is the founder of the business, which he runs with family and friends. We got to meet Riott, his son, who had a love for skulls and all Halloween decorations at this eatery. This place specializes in sandwiches. Many of their meats are slow-cooked for ten hours. Sauces, soups, and slaw are homemade. We ordered many items off the menu and had what we liked: - Jalapeno and house slaws - Chickpea and ham soup - Roasted garlic and tomato soup - The Brooklyn (Italian) - Hot corned beef - Montreal smoked meat - Slicey's chopped chicken - Chicken club wrap I started with the hot corned beef sandwich. The corned beef was generous and so flavourful. The rye bread held all that tender corned beef together, along with the best grainy mustard aioli. I am a soup girl. I enjoyed the roasted garlic and tomato soup. It had the perfect amount of garlic with tomatoes, along with onions and spices. It was a comforting, smooth soup. The chickpea and ham soup was excellent. It had nice cubes of ham with chickpeas. It was so hearty and delicious. I also love slaw. The jalapeno and house slaws were crunchy. The former was creamy with a touch of heat. The latter was vinegar-based. You get the best of both slaw dressing worlds! I then had the Montreal smoked meat. It was full of the most tender smoked meat on rye bread with mustard. So good! I'm not sure how I managed to down Slicey's chopped chicken sandwich. It was so good that I did! It had slow-cooked chicken that was chopped with tomato, and red onion. It included the jalapeno slaw, along with white cheddar. It was messy to eat, but so worth it. The flavours were outstanding. This business supports other local businesses. The bread comes from a local bakery. It also features Purple Tongue hot sauces. Staff are super friendly and kind. They can craft a sandwich to your liking if you go with The Riott. There were two separate washroom stalls. I used one of them before I left this eatery. It was clean. No complaints. It's a comfortable place to hang out with friends over good food and drinks. I ended up having a Diet Coke and Crush cream soda during the two hours that we were here. They were cold and refreshing. It's street parking for three hours. It's free, which is nice. Alternatively, there is a parking lot across from this eatery. I look forward to returning for more good eats and soup. It's a gem of a sandwich place that happens to have awesome soups and slaw. (391)

Bread is fresh daily from a local bakery. Depeding on the day they can sell out of items but that just speaks to popularity and freshness. We ordered a bunch of different items and split them all. Sandwiches are loaded with bright, fresh toppings. I also LOVE that they support local and even have my FAVORITE hotsauce in store. Purple tongue. I highly recommend adding the cilantro lime to any sandwich. It compliments them so well. The Brooklyn (Italian) Hot Corned Beef Montreal Smoked Meat Slicey's Chopped Chicken Chicken Club Wrap Jalapeno & House Slaw Chickpea and Ham Soup Megan's Roasted Garlic Tomato Soup The Italian was definitely a favorite and the Slicey's Chopped Chicken was so incredibly tender. I added green peppers to my veal sandwich and a very important point to add much needed extra sauce! The second veal sandwich I ordered was very dry, almost tasteless and had practically no tomato sauce on it. Wasn't sure if it always comes this dry? I hope not but am glad I asked for extra sauce on the second sandwich. Much needed! Their gelato is worth tasting if you have a sweet tooth.
