The burgers and chicken burger were the best I've ever had. So delicious and very generous portions! This place is my new go to.

This location has tables to sit around 8 people if you want to stay and enjoy the food piping hot. Stopped by to try their chicken paratha roll and chat masala fries. Told them it was my first time at any Chachu's and they asked if I wanted to combine different things. Score an additional star for amazing customer service! So in the paratha roll, I got both chicken tikka and tandoori chicken, and the chat masala fries came with spicy garlic mayo. The food was pretty good. I loved the chewiness of the paratha roll. Thought the chicken was a bit dry but the flavours (especially the tikka) were tasty. The fries were piping hot and seasoned well, and the garlic mayo could be spicier but balanced things out well. Prices were reasonable. Service was quick and friendly. Chachus is simple, quick, and reasonably priced. Can see why they've expanded so much in just a year, and would recommend stopping by one of their 8 locations if you want a Pakistani fusion treat.

This is their second location, in a build with 3 other food vendors. It is mostly a takeout restaurant. There is a small counter where you could stand and eat. There are six set combinations. Or you can build your own pasta (BYOP) combo. On the soft-opening day (2025-01-20), they were offering an opening special of Mac N Cheese with BBQ Chicken sample and a drink for only $6.99. I ordered the following: 1. BYOP: Garlic Shrimp, penne, rose sauce, broccoli, black olives, mushrooms. It automatically comes with sliced green peppers and chopped parsley. 2. Opening Special ($6.99) x 2. For the BYOP, they didn't warn me it was medium spicy. I can handle it with a cold drink! The shrimp and penne were perfectly cooked. I loved the rose sauce. My choices of broccoli,  black olives, and mushrooms worked well together and with the base. The Opening Special was delicious; the Mac n Cheese part and BBQ Chicken were really good! Unfortunately, the BBQ was mildly spicy, and my son didn't like it; more for me! The customer service was good. It took them a long time to prepare the food (there were many orders prior to mine). But it was opening day, so hopefully, they will speed up their cooking. There is no free WiFi. The food stall is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-014

Their kabli rice and beef kababs are really good. However, what I absolutely love this restaurant is something that doesn't fit in with the theme at all - their chicken wings. Consider getting the BBQ chicken wings as a side. They've got a sweet and tangy sauce that they're smothered in and it tastes like heaven. Bring your appetite cause you get quite a bit! Not going to lie, the place looks quite shabby and rundown. Just a warning so you don't expect fancy.

Nice crisp to the skin and was moist in the middle, touched with sauce to perfection. - Oxtail (4.5/5): I would've love to have more of the meat and coleslaw but I must say the flavour was insane. They offer a $5.99 Small option for those looking for a smaller meal (yet not really small) that's priced right. There was no Roti option. Chicken was cooked very well, rub & marinade were OK but just moderate wow factor. I didn't get as much sauce as some of the other Yelper's pics but It wasn't dry by any means. Most of the chicken pieces were on the bone, which adds flavour IMO - but it also means 25% of that meat portion was bones, so what initially looks like a steal for $5.99 turned out to be merely fair. Not offered to customize heat level ( it was lower side of medium) I liked how the Coleslaw was neither too sweet nor too heavy on mayo. Rice & Peas was standard & unremarkable but did taste extremely fresh despite being an hour to closing time. I'd like to round them up to a 4 but that would be saying it's as good as Allwyn's & Layla's and I couldn't go that far. ( in Willowdale, they'd a 4 easily..) I still consider Rose's a solid choice. And for some customers - those who need better TTC access than Allwyn's, those who need their Island fix to be halal, or find the $5.99 deal to be an ideal price & size, it could well be a top choice in the area.

The apps are a bit on the pricier side, but the mains are well-priced. Apps: It was my first time trying chicken momos, which are spicy dumplings. Really good. I love the tuna kebab, which is flatter than a fish cutlet. The singara, which is like a samosa, was okay, but the dough wasn't cooked through. Main: I've tried several of the meat options, they were all new for me. There's always a thick amount of oil on top, but the masalas are all nice. Mejbani beef curry was spicy and okay. There was a lot of fat left on the meat, so it was a lot less than what it appeared. The Biye Bari chicken roast (curry) was really good. The beef tehari was too mild, not spicy at all. The rice they use here is a short grain rice with a bit of bite, not the basmati I'm used to. So I prefer the rotis. The luchi was great, it's a small poori. Desserts: Looks like homemade desserts. The doi was too salty for me, but my mom loved it. It is fermented yogurt, which tastes like extra salty, concentrated yogurt. Their jalebi was okay, but nothing special. I like the option to try new things.
