Merch in the nook with huge mural

Slayer Burger is nestled away in a little plaza and is a bit of a hidden gem! The whole restaurant has a well...Slayer theme! There's a huge hand painted mural with an homage to the band. They have their own brand of beers for sale and some merch that has the Slayer name on it. They have a wide selection of really unique burgers that are both impressive in size and also really tasty. They have a Vecna burger which I think is an ode to this season's Stranger Thing's villain. It has a black bun which gives it a spooky vibe. They also have a beastly burger that looked like it has about 4 patties in there! Not for the faint of heart. I went for one of their more basic ones which was the Slit Burger. This featured a smashed patty on a potato bun. The bun is to die for! So tasty on its own. The fries were also a big hit. They're crinkle cut and maximized on crispiness!

I was drawn here from the reviews. The decor was nice and spacious and was surprised to have a robot deliver my meal to the table. [ Slayer Burger (double) ] - The bun was delicious paired with bacon caramelized onions and slayer sauce. However the burger patties itself was what was disappointing. Did not feel like I was having a double as they seem to be pretty conservative with their meat. Patties were over cooked and dry which took away from all the good the rest of the burger brought. [ Fries ] - Their crinkle cut fries were good. Very light crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. At the higher price point of burgers (up to $39.99 for a burger), I am not impressed with their quality control. Unfortunately I can only rate based on my current experience. Would update on next visit if there is one.

Delivery: Even though it was delivered, the presentation was flawless! I ordered their most popular and rated burger, The First Degree Burger. I was absolutely pleased with everything in this burger. Everything was cooked properly and seasoned wel! Wagyu was amazing and foie gras was spot on. One of the best burgers I've ever had'

Great quality food. Best I've had for what is considered fast food. Worth the extra price tag.

Nothing special. Sauces don't make the burger the beef does and I could taste it. 3.5 ounce patty way to small for a $19 burger.

Their menu is pretty extensive; many options and you can actually create your own salad by checking off a checklist paper at the cash. Their dressings are all super tasty. Their menu staff are super friendly and welcoming. The service is pretty quick, but lunch hour can be a bit hectic as one expects. Super cute atmosphere and front patio seating available on Ossington for people watching as you enjoy your salad. I come here regularly because it's just so tasty, and a healthier option. Highly recommend!

For take out, I ordered the Pacific Crunch which has rice noodles, cilantro, mint, shredded carrots, purple cabbage, green onions, edamame, red peppers, mango, cashews, and coconut curry shrimp. The service was quick, as it took about 10 minutes to prepare the bowl. I enjoyed the Pacific Crunch; it was very tasty and the ingredients complimented each other well. However, I am giving Mandy's 3 stars as I was very disappointed with the portion size, especially considering the price. My bowl was only 2/3 full, when compared to the bowl purchased by my friend. For the price, I would expect the bowl to be completely full, with more than 4 shrimp.

I've actually had Brasa previously many years ago for a Yelp event but this time I decided to stop by the Queen St. location to grab dinner. Their menu boasts unique flavours where ingredients are fresh and nutritious. I decided to order a bowl from their phone app where my order was made in about 15 min. Upon arriving at Brasa, the space is accessible where the cashier/food counter area is to your right. On the left there is bar seating where you could enjoy your items there. I mentioned to staff that I was there to pick up my food where it was already made. In terms of food, I ordered the tuna ceviche bowl (Organic tricolour Peruvian quinoa, marinated tuna, avocado and sweet potato blossoms, two types of Peruvian corn, finely sliced red onion) which cost around $17. I had the bowl for dinner and it felt super healthy with the quinoa, avocado, and tuna! The ingredients tasted great together and the crunchy corn added a crunchy textural element to the bowl. Overall, a healthy alternative in the Queen/University area!

I was downtown and stumbled upon this grab-and-go spot, and it was exactly what I needed. I ordered two burrito bowls and a soup, and the total was around $50. I actually preferred this restaurant over another go-to vegan restaurant we frequent with similar ambiance. The Service: The service was really good.
