Stopped in at Slayer Burger today. A couple of things to start off. Great quality food. That comes at a bit higher price tag, but the burgers are very good. I had the Slayer Burger Combo (single Pattie with bacon and fried onions) and hubby had the Classic Combo (2 Patties with bacon). One of us got onion rings with our combo and the other one got fries with a combo. I choice of all kinds of different soft drinks, and or sparkling waters. For some of the drinks, you will pay a premium to include them with your meal. The order was made fresh for us, so the burgers are fantastic. They come on a potato bun that has sesame seeds on it. Really wonderful flavor. The Onion rings were lovely and crispy as were the crinkle fries. Interesting enough they have a robot that delivers the meal to your table. I do have a picture of that which I thought was pretty cool. They are also on Uber Eats another ordering platforms for delivery and pick up. Great quality food. Best I've had for what is considered fast food. Worth the extra price tag.

New cashier, not trained properly he took my order and I paid $15 cash and the rest on debit But later on, he's telling me that I still owe $10 And now he's calling someone else to figuring out how he can make me pay $10 as well. I'm waiting here and it's been more then 20 minutes for my food I think this is unacceptable. Slayer Burger is nestled away in a little plaza and is a bit of a hidden gem! The whole restaurant has a well...Slayer theme! There's a huge hand painted mural with an homage to the band. They have their own brand of beers for sale and some merch that has the Slayer name on it. They have a wide selection of really unique burgers that are both impressive in size and also really tasty. They have a Vecna burger which I think is an ode to this season's Stranger Thing's villain. It has a black bun which gives it a spooky vibe. They also have a beastly burger that looked like it has about 4 patties in there! Not for the faint of heart. I went for one of their more basic ones which was the Slit Burger. This featured a smashed patty on a potato bun. The bun is to die for! So tasty on its own. The fries were also a big hit. They're crinkle cut and maximized on crispiness! read more

I was drawn here from the reviews. The decor was nice and spacious and was surprised to have a robot deliver my meal to the table. [ Slayer Burger (double) ] - The bun was delicious paired with bacon caramelized onions and slayer sauce. However the burger patties itself was what was disappointing. Did not feel like I was having a double as they seem to be pretty conservative with their meat. Patties were over cooked and dry which took away from all the good the rest of the burger brought. [ Fries ] - Their crinkle cut fries were good. Very light crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. At the higher price point of burgers (up to $39.99 for a burger), I am not impressed with their quality control. Unfortunately I can only rate based on my current experience. Reason for Visit: Brand new opening so decided to give this place a try for delivery take out. Menu: I got their Slayer Burger combo. Burger was very juicy and tasty. It is actually a pretty big burger. It was a bit oily though, but I personally think that is because I ordered delivery. I think if I were to eat it at store, the quality would be much better. That being said, even though it was delivery, the burger was fantastic! One of the better burger joints in GTA for sure. Fries- super crispy and tasty. Really enjoyed it. I love how they add extra sauce on the side for those who want to add more sauce to their burger. Service: No issues. Pretty easy delivery order service. No concerns at all. Overall: Highly recommend. I will say the prices are a bit more expensive than usual burger places, but honestly you pay for the extra quality so it is well worth in terms of value. read more

Wow! A burger to die for! My daughter and I were in East York for another event and really needed lunch. Slayer burger was a convenient and intriguing option. I really liked the restaurant theme, and my daughter really liked the menu. So we hopped over there and ordered for takeout. We both ordered the eponymous Slayer Burger. This is a smashed burger - a burger preparation that I have been meaning to try for some time, but haven't until now tried one. Turns out, I'd been missing something that I never even tried: the smashed burger has a truly roasty, grilled taste that doesn't quite permeate a traditional thick burger. But do you want a traditional, thick burger? Slayer burger has you covered with that option too. They also have a very extravagant Wagyu beef burger with a charcoal bun (the "First Degree Burger.") Judging from the photo, it looks amazingly cheffy, and it is the most expensive burger that I have even seen. Someday ..... The toppings and sauce are subtle and flavourful, enhancing rather than overpowering the smashed patty. The excellence and balance of the whole burger was borne out when my daughter and I ate our burgers. She despises onions; I like them only if they are caramelized. Our burgers got swapped and she devoured hers (I missed out on caramelized onions!). People often expect burger restaurants to be inexpensive, because, I imagine, people think: I could just make this at home. Yes, you could make a slayer burger at home, but would you? It would take a lot of time and money to add the little touches, like the sauce, the perfectly done bacon, the gooey blanket of cheese, and then of course, the patty. I tried to make pan seared patties once, and decided to leave them to professionals, whose stoves crank up to a far higher heat than mine. The buns - brioche topped with black and white sesame - lend a nice flavour without stealing the show. For a well balanced and well executed (ouch - there's the pun) burger, look no further than Slayer Burger. We didn't eat in, but it has a beautifully decorated interior that is both retro and contemporary. Don't knock yourself out trying to make your own smashed burgers on your home stove: when the craving hits, Slayer Burger delivers a professionally prepared, thoughtfully topped burger experience. I visited this place about 4 months ago. I also am copy and pasting my google review here as I thought I wrote it here as well. I finally got a chance to try this place out. LOVED it. In fact reading all the negative reviews and the awesome responses from management made me want to try this place out more. The world is filled with negativity we don't need more. Don't like the food, perhaps instead of slamming people give some constructive criticism and move on. Like my review. I only gave a 4 star rating because I feel the fries are missing something. I still liked them, but for the price I feel they should have some other thing added to it like a messy version or a hand cut variety. We ordered 3 slit combos and a chicken sandwich. The burgers were very tasty and made with a lot passion. LOVED the chicken sandwich thou I have been on a bit of a chicken kick lately. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot. We HAVE to help out our fellow Brothers and Sisters out there especially during these trying times. Drove by the place while they were building and put it in my memory bank to try the next time I was looking for a burger aside from the myriad of fast food drive-thrus. Ordered the double slayer burger combo with the Nutella milkshake. Well, where do I begin? Simply hands down the best burger I've had in so long that they now have a customer for life. The meat to bun to cheese ratio was perfect. Rarely have I had a burger where you can taste the bacon with every bite, impressive. The bun was super fresh and the meat itself? Brilliant. Juicy and packed with flavour. And the caramelized onions along with the slayer sauce wasn't obtrusive, in fact they subtly tied everything together for a experience that was as close to divine as one could ask. . Krinkle fries are Krinkle fries. Cooked to crispy perfection. But that's not what it's all about. Next time I'll try the Waygu burger. I've only had the Vegetarian burger, but it was extremely good. It feels cooked to exactly where I'd want it, and their "Slayer Sauce" is legitimately the best burger sauce I've ever had. I only have 2 reservations about giving this place 5 stars, those being: A. It's pretty damn pricey for a burger joint (I played $15 for the vegetarian burger alone) B. I've only tried one of their items and dont feel comfortable rating 5 stars from just 1 experience. I'll update this if I come back and try more of their stuff. read more

I really wanted to like Slayer Burger, but I didn't. Combo for $25 really not worth it. Burger was ok, Poutine was Mediocre, best thing about my meal was the San Pellegrino Natural Aranciata Rossa Italian Blood Orange. The beef in the burger was good, topping fresh. Just not worth the money. The Poutine was 0 out of 5 for me, it was small, bland, gravy was odd. It didn't do it for me. You would be able to get a better poutine from Harvey's. Definitely not worth the $25 that I paid for Combo! Guess they need to make their money back from having a robot bring you your food to the table. read more

Well, this is where you can put high expectations and then full fill all of them. At this hard times is a little bit hard to find good humor, smiles (yes I can notice them even with mouth covers) and all you need to have a great experience even when it's a pick up order. When you call they have the patience to help you with all the doubts you could have, recommendations and believe it or not, they are pretty quick preparing your orders, I order 3 burgers and 2 orders of French fries and they said 10 minutes! When you arrive you can see all the staff with good humor and willing to help you, the smell of all I got was awesome! Please, go and try it! I recommend "The carnivore", it is not in the menu but they do it and it's amazing. If you have any question on the looks, just check their instagram, you will fall in love. read more

We ordered a large order pastas, nuggets, salads, fries, onion rings, poutines and burgers tonight through uber eats. Everything was going swimmingly when the Uber driver dropped off our order we noticed half of it was missing. You message on Uber eats and we're waiting and waiting for a response. So we decided to call the restaurant to see what happen. The team that picked up the call knew right away who we were and mention that the Uber driver forgot to pick up the second bag. And when they contacted them to let them know they hung up. We were 1 of 2 orders that this driver had a mix up with. I told them I completely understand and it's just frustrating as we have a bunch of kids waiting for their dinner. Anyways they took my name and number and they said let us deal with Uber and will get back to you. They couldn't really come to a resolution with the driver. But decided to take our order redo the missing items and send them themselves through a different Uber to our house. They kept me informed along the way until the food was at my door. I can't say enough for the service! Way to go above and beyond! We so appreciate it. The food was great. The kids love the milkshakes and the younger ones it all the pastor and nugget without any hesitation. The onion rings were incredible. The burgers and absolute poutine were terrific.
