He arrived and very efficiently removed the tree. After I completed my site survey, to determine if I owned some questionable trees, he was back with another reasonable estimate. This time a crane was required - so I left - and I am so impressed with again, how efficient his work is. When I returned the logs were there, the 6 trees were down! Once the logs were taken, my yards were cleaned, making it hard to know he had been here. Eric is a terrific person, he listens to you! I would HIGHLY recommend Eric and Turcotte Tree Service. From the first contact with Todd I knew I was working with a person of integrity who took pride in his work. He was very communicative and clear about his schedule, pricing and the process of removal. I needed a few large trees in precarious places removed and many that needed pruning. We're especially thankful he did--because when the Dig Safe team arrived to mark the area, one of them smelled gas. She immediately contacted Liberty Utilities, and when they came to inspect, they discovered a leak in our furnace, which had been installed just three years ago. Liberty Utilities promptly shut off the gas, and we had a plumber come in to make the necessary repairs. Thankfully, everything was fixed and the gas was safely turned back on within four days. Huge thanks to Todd's Tree Service for following Dig Safe protocols. We can't imagine what might have happened if that leak had gone unnoticed. And we can't forget to mention--Todd, your team did an outstanding job with the tree and shrub removal, plus all the extra landscaping. Our yard looks absolutely amazing! Your number is staying in our contacts for good!

Tried heavy trimming but to no avail. They had to come down. I had many solicitors over the past two years, offering a wide range of solutions with a wide range of costs. Unfortunately, I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I happened upon Maguire's Family Tree Service through a glance at Facebook community page, along with several other tree services. I contacted all of them and they all responded, but when Joe (Maguire) came out, he offered me many options with solid costs for each option. He was down to earth and I liked his presentation. He doesn't have some of the large 'toys' that others have, but he has grit, determination and a good eye for the job. I researched for reviews and couldn't find much, but I still hired his company. His office staff (Felicia, the missus) is extremely competent and efficient. When Joe and Tod finished the job of several tricky tree removals, the work area was clean and the quality of work was on time and exactly what I wanted. They did a wonderfully professional job. I wanted a competent, local, community-based company and I got this and a lot more than I hoped for. I have more trees in the future and upon rebuilding the coffer, they are my go-to tree service!

Again, I can…read moreonly comment on customer service as I've still not hired them to do any work; this is just to add more details regarding my deep disappointment in communications with them. On the day of my original review post, I received a call from Mark. He hadn't seen my review, he was calling to follow up, asking if I've had my trees removed yet. we talked a bit with my explaining that we were still waiting for the updated/correct draft/estimate of the full work we wanted done. He said he'd come by, look at my property again and work on getting the estimate completed (I was hopeful); however, shortly after my conversation with Mark (same day), Karen called me, told me she read my review and didn't like it (imagine that) and asked what could be done to get it removed. There was no apology, nor any suggestions or offers on how to correct things! I told her we'd have to wait and see what Mark comes up with. a week later, on July 22, Mark calls me to say that he's come up with a plan that he thinks covers everything I wanted and will have it sent to me...still nothing, so I called Mark on July 28, left a voicemail asking about status. Here it is August 10th (2 months since initial visit) and all we have seen is the company doing work on a neighbor's home, the past week.

They came in with a fair bid to take down my failing double maple tree. The crew arrived, and worked with each other like a well-oiled machine. They seemed very enthusiastic to get the job done, to take good care of each other, and very respectful of me. I wish I could have stayed during the rest of the day to watch them work! When I arrived home from my office at day's end, I found my yard cleaned up and that they had appropriately ground the stump so that I can now re-seed grass in its wake. I work at a well-respected law firm in Concord, and colleagues are always asking for the name of contractors with whom people have had a good experience. I will confidently and without hesitation add Collins Tree Service to the list the next time someone asks. They were a sincere pleasure to work with, and I give them an enthusiastic double thumbs up.
