Another good food Indian food restaurant 5 Element is the place . Quaintly Decorated simple decor inside nothing to fancy , they have an ample sitting area , we came in we had to wait three to five minutes to sit . Even though they weren't very full ,I mean we were 6 people , they had an excellent ample menu , I liked they also had Asian type menu featuring various stir dry dishes we started with appetizers, I tried something new called , Samosa Chat ::: veg samosas mashed and layered W Spicy chickpeas onions,Tamarind and Mint chutney, it was amazing loved they also had level three spice . Another favorite was the chicken Mixed Platter, consisting of Tandoori, chicken,W Murgh Tikka ,and Murgh, Malai Kebab's Delicious on a bed of semi cooked roasted onions , the meats were tender just the right spices yes it's a winner . The service was good family oriented by the owner and his sons and helpful staff .We also noticed on the way out for next time they do have an Indian buffet style service something I've never seen in a Indian restaurant before were all ready planing to visit for sure .. would like to have next time the Sheekh Kebab witch is mixed lamb in herbs and spices in Tandoori and some other dishes that caught our eyes ..

I found this restaurant from another yelpers reviews. I ate the goat lunch box and loved it. I had enough spice to make me sweat above my eyeballs, lol. Plenty of parking with a little walk into the courtyard. I came during lunch time and it was pretty quiet. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms will also very clean. Next road trip I'll be stopping by again.

This Indian restaurant was absolutely delicious, I actually remember when I used to go to the one in Fort Lauderdale where they served this mango soft serve ice cream and they actually still continued this at this location in Palm Coast. Anyway, I do recommend the Paneer Tikka Masala as it was so creamy and delicious. They also serve that ice cream and the owner actually gave it to us complimentary and he was a very kind man. I also really appreciate their kindness with helping in menu items and their Indian candies at the end of the meal near the register. Also the bathroom was very clean and ambiance was very pleasant to the eye.

We stoped in when visiting the Sunday farmers market @ European Village or just coming on a regular day this is a great place to stop in for a lunch. Make sure to bring your appetite as it is a buffet and the food is delicious. Mostly chicken and vegetable options. The service is Ok and we had some difficulty understanding some of the questions our server was asking but we got through. The place is decorated in traditional India pictures and colors.

Absolutely amazing. Wonderful service on a slow night helped me and my family learn their way around Indian cuisine. Told us wonderful story's and helped us pic things they thought we would like before bringing out beautiful and tasty dishes.

I've never been to the restaurant. I've only ordered takeout but every single time, it is absolutely delicious! Flavorful, prepared well, fresh, good portion and I'm never disappointed!

A good place for Indian food. We had sag paneer and garlick naan. It was good. Staff is very friendly and place have a good vibe. They have seating options outside as well. Lot of parking is available in the lot. The place is inside a complex where you have other options as well.

With Bike Week going on we decided to try 5th Element again. It was nice out and we wanted outdoor seating and they have it. Unfortunately when we arrived the guy that seated us almost seemed upset we came there. We got our table outside and after about 7 minutes we received a menu and bar menu. At least 15 minutes went by before someone came and asked what we wanted to order, so we ordered 2 glasses of Cabernet plus shrimp tandoori, shrimp masala and butter naan bread. After about 30 minutes our food and wine came out. The food was very good which is why it's a shame why I have to rate so low. The service was absolutely horrible!!! We've really had no service. We did not have a server that took care of us. I had to ask 3 times for a 2nd glass of wine which I asked for both my husband and myself, he brought 1 glass, my husband said he wanted a glass too which he never received! My husband asked for the check 2 times but was never brought to us. The 3rd time he said bring it now or we're leaving. This is the worst service or I should say non service we've had in a long time. Such a shame because the food was good and the band was playing in center stage and they have heaters, great atmosphere! But we will not be back! You need to check on each and every customer!! No service no good!! You lost us!!

The space is modern, clean, and really welcoming--easy to relax and enjoy your time there. Such a diverse menu with options like Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, Korma, and various appetizers and entrees, with popular items including curries, various Naan, Samosas, Chai and Mango Lassi. We started with cauliflower Manchurian, onion pakoda, samosa chaat, and Chicken 65--everything came out fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. For the entrees, we tried the mixed meat platter, the curries were extremely delicious from madras, tikka, makhani to Kerala fish curry, and the Chettinad cashew coconut chicken curry with black pepper. Each dish was so flavorful fresh and the spices were so aromatic. The naan was excellent across the board--garlic, classic, cheese and especially the date Peshwari naan... SO delicious. Slightly sweet, soft, and honestly a must-order. Yum yum yum! We ended the meal with dessert & chai. Had the traditional dessert ras malai, gulab jamun, carrot halwa, and rabri a new dessert that the chef was making all with masala chai--such a warm, sweet and flavorful finish. We even had the soomph palate finisher at the end. Exceeded our expectations what a treat from the moment we walked in to the ending! Huge thank you to Varun and the entire team for the incredible service and delicious food. You can really feel the love & care in every detail. We'll definitely be back soon. This place is a gem that delivers on every level--from ambiance to flavor to service. The restaurant itself is spotless, modern, and inviting, with a relaxed upscale vibe that fits perfectly with its beachside surroundings. Plenty of parking makes it easy to pull in, settle down, and enjoy a proper meal without any hassle. We started off strong with the cauliflower Manchurian and onion pakoda--both came out fresh, hot, and perfectly crisp. You can tell right away when a kitchen respects texture, and they nailed it. The samosa chaat was layered with flavor, and the Chicken 65 brought just the right kick--crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and seasoned beautifully. For mains, we explored a bit, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared rather than rushed. The mixed meat platter was generous and well-balanced, the Kerala fish curry had that deep, coastal spice profile, and the cashew coconut chicken curry with black pepper had a rich, aromatic heat that lingered in the best way. Every dish carried depth--nothing tasted one-dimensional. Of course, no Indian meal is complete without naan, and both the garlic and regular versions were excellent. But the real standout? The Peshwari naan--slightly sweet from chopped dates, soft, and just indulgent enough to feel special. That alone is worth coming back for. The drink selection is another plus--they've got a solid lineup of wines, beers, and spirits if you're in the mood to pair your meal. And considering the quality and portion sizes, the pricing feels more than fair. We wrapped things up with a full spread of desserts--ras malai, gulab jamun, carrot halwa, and a warm cup of masala chai. Each one hit that comforting, traditional note you hope for at the end of a great Indian meal. This isn't just another Indian restaurant--it's a place that clearly cares about doing things right. Whether you're a local or just passing through between Jacksonville and Orlando, this is absolutely a stop worth making.

We ordered the Thali expecting a well-rounded, flavorful Indian meal--but what arrived at the table was far from it. The food was served cold, which immediately set the tone. Naan, which should be soft, warm, and slightly crisp on the edges, was instead leathery and overly chewy, almost as if it had been sitting out far too long. The Thali was supposed to include chicken biryani and chicken curry, but both dishes missed the mark entirely. The chicken served was dark thigh meat, which in itself isn't an issue when cooked right--but here, it lacked any depth or proper preparation. More disappointing was the complete absence of flavor. Indian cuisine is known for its rich layers of spices and aromas, but everything on the plate felt bland and lifeless, as if the spices were an afterthought rather than the heart of the dish. Adding to the disappointment, the interior decor felt very dated and gloomy, lacking the warmth or vibrancy you'd hope for in a dining space. The bathrooms were also filthy, which only made the overall experience worse. Having dined at several Indian restaurants, we know what a good Thali should taste like--balanced, vibrant, and satisfying. This was none of that. It felt rushed, poorly executed, and lacking the care that defines authentic Indian cooking. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing enough that we won't be returning.

I strongly encourage anyone thinking about visiting this restaurant to scroll through the reviews and read the owner's replies carefully. What stands out is not just one emotional response or a single bad interaction. There appears to be a pattern of hostile and personal responses toward customers. Instead of addressing feedback professionally, the owner frequently insults reviewers, criticizes their families, and in several replies tells customers to "go back where you came from" or suggests they should leave the country. When this type of language appears repeatedly across multiple reviews, it stops looking like a moment of frustration and begins raising serious concerns about the way customers are viewed and treated. Restaurants are part of the hospitality industry. Even when a customer leaves a negative review, the expectation is that business owners respond professionally and respectfully. Most establishments understand that the way they communicate with the public reflects directly on their business. What is visible here is the opposite. Many of the responses appear confrontational, dismissive, and personal rather than constructive. It is also difficult to ignore the contradiction that this establishment presents itself as an Indian restaurant, yet several replies include statements telling customers to "go back where you came from" or remarks about how this is "America, not India." Language like that understandably raises concerns for many readers. Businesses that serve the public have a responsibility to treat customers equally and respectfully. In the United States, restaurants are considered places of public accommodation and are expected to comply with federal and state civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination based on factors such as race, national origin, or religion. If any customer ever experiences discriminatory treatment or is refused service based on their background, they should know that they have the right to document the incident and report it to the appropriate civil rights authorities or consumer protection agencies. Before deciding to eat here, I strongly recommend taking a few minutes to read the owner's responses to reviews. Those replies often reveal more about a business than the menu or marketing ever will. Respect and professionalism are fundamental to hospitality. Based on what is publicly visible in the review section, those qualities appear to be missing here.

The menu offers a wide range of traditional Indian dishes, and I really appreciate that they allow you to customize the spice level to your preference. That makes it accessible whether you're new to Indian food or someone who enjoys a little heat. The daily lunch buffet is also a big plus, especially if you want to sample different dishes in one visit. The food itself is good and well-prepared, with solid flavors and generous portions. That said, it does feel like the kitchen leans toward catering to the general market. The spice profiles are toned down, and while that makes the dishes approachable, it slightly softens the authenticity you might expect from a more traditional Indian restaurant. One subtle indicator of that broader appeal is the wine list -- something you don't often see emphasized in more classic, traditional Indian establishments. That being said, Ammrit strikes a reasonable balance. It offers familiar, comfortable Indian cuisine that works well for a wide audience while still delivering recognizable flavors and quality ingredients. If you're looking for dependable Indian food in South Daytona with flexible spice options and a welcoming atmosphere, it's definitely worth a visit.

Only one other couple was dining in, and there were a lot of take out orders being picked up. The place was well-lit, clean, and had ample space. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Scout was our waitress and Deepak was the host. Menu has all the Indian cuisine staples that we expected - we ordered 3 orders of garlic naan, fried rice with veggies and egg, chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi (potato & cauliflower side dish ) - all with medium spiciness - with mango lassi and masala Chai tea for drinks. While waiting for our orders, we washed our hands and the single-occupancy restrooms were clean and stocked. The only downside to the facilities in general are the slightly hard chairs / benches as these were possibly made with the intention of not spending too much time in the restaurant or for people with more natural padding in that area . The naan arrived about 10 minutes later, followed by the rest of the food. The naan was excellent - just the way we like it (not too soft, not too crunchy, with enough garlic oil for taste). The basmati rice was cooked just right in the individual bowls and also in the generous portion of the fried rice. It was my first time trying the aloo gobi, and I loved it! I never knew about this dish, and my husband said it was a must try. I also tasted his chicken tikka masala, and it was also made deliciously. The drinks were also great - mango lassi was fresh and not too sweet. Masala Chai tea was exactly how I imagined it would be. Overall, we spent around 1 hour and about $100 on our date here, including generous tip. We are glad to be repeat customers to try more dishes, and of course, enjoy more garlic naan .
