Service is friendly, nice, appropriate. All staff were masked. Tables were somewhat social distanced. Bathrooms not the cleanest, mens only had a single stall with 2 urinals. Food was okay. Appetizers were bland and clearly frozen that was rewarmed. Only the chicken was the best option out of the pu pu platter. Miso soup had no flavor. Sushi was okay, not the most cleanly wrapped or tight. Did easily fall apart. Otherwise proteins were fresh, no one got sick. We will be back to try other sushi dishes before making our final call on this. We normally go to the other sushi location in town which so far is much better, but again, will give this location one more try before saying otherwise. Happy eating! read more

My husband & I tried Fuki's for the first time last night & we're so happy we stopped in. The crab rangoon's are incredible & the best that I've had. I'm not kidding. They're reason enough to stop in & try this place out. Out waitress was such a sweetheart. It did take longer than usual for the bartender to make my husband's mixed drink (I ordered the Japanese soda & the waitress brought it to me immediately). We ordered the specialty sushi rolls & the combo hibachi dinner with steak & shrimp. The sushi was delicious & the hibachi had so much flavor. The presentation of each item was incredible. I'm halfway between disappointed and pissed off! The quality is okay but the portions are a little ridiculous. Pictured is $95 worth of sushi and not a single packet of soy sauce in the bag! At least picknsave was open and is only a 3-mile drive away. Thank God I left them a $8 tip for delivering and paying a surcharge on top of it. Second time in two months this has happened. I was rather unimpressed by this place. I was really hoping there was going to be a good sushi place near me but this place fell flat. Drinks- They do have a wide variety of drinks including custom cocktails. I did not have anything to drink other than iced tea so I cant say how good the cockails were. The iced tea was average. Food- I tried the General Tso's bento box and my girlfriend had the Chicken Teriyaki. I was very unimpressed. The California roll that came with the meal was very loosely rolled and fell apart very easily. The chicken in both our meals tasted like your typical shopping mall food court Chinese food. It was bland and the only flavor was sugar. The Shrimp Tempura was decent and the crunch was fantastic. The highlight of the meal had to be the Crab Rangoons. They were delicious. I even joked that if I came here again it would to only get an order of rangoons to go. Service- Service was good. My tea was refilled pretty regularly, we didn't have to wait around for the check, and when we first arrived we were greeted and sat promptly. Overall, this place was not as good as I was hoping. I might go back to try a different meal entirely but if you go avoid the Bento boxes and especially avoid the sushi. read more

The food is good but I wished it all came out hotter. All the dishes that were supposed to be hot, came out luke warm, even the soups. Horrible customer service, ordered something we thought was something else. Called and came back and realized we misunderstood the menu. It was something we were not going to eat so I I asked if we could substitute for something else. They said they're kitchen was closed even tho online it says they were open another half hour. Asked for a refund as it was $23 and was denied because I didn't understand the menu. The worst part was the girl kept saying if the kitchen was open they would substitute it for me so I asked if I could get a voucher to substitute it a different day and she said no because they already made me a new one (which was the same as the old one!!!)! long story short won't be going there again. read more

I've eaten at fuji a few times now (single lunch, date night dinner & takeout). I've had the Asian foods, apps, soups and Sushi. All were a 6.5 out of 10. My recommendations are to do the 3 sushi roll lunch special with a additional speciality roll if dining with company. So far i thought the Mongolian Beef with fried rice was the best asian dish. The rangoon was good, the spring rolls mushy & bland inside. The soups were pleasant, & the cocktails & saki were enjoyable. I was hoping for more being as there is a real need for good asian restaurants in town. My conclusion is that it's a pleasant place to dine with family/ friends but the food is nothing praise/crave worthy. read more

I was very excited to try this place, hearing so many great reviews, but had an awful dinner. First the drinks were all juice, which I understand to follow recipe, but did not have a trace of alcohol after taking 10 minutes to get to the table. Sushi was pretty good, but main dish was cold. I let the server know the food was cold and she said she was going to remake it. Food came back still cold, only with more teriyaki sauce on it. The issue I have most is that we were told the food would be remade and it wasn't even reheated. Honestly, would not recommend unless you're only looking for sushi. read more

I went here with my friends once and it was the last time ever. When we ordered my friend accidentally tried getting something off of the lunch menu and the server said "no" when she asked for what she wanted. We were confused and he said to read the menu. Then he proceeded to point at the part where it said lunch menu. It was extremely disrespectful and I hope he got fired. My fiancé and I tried this place for the first time yesterday and overall, it was quite nice. The waiter was very polite and helpful. Food came out quickly, but we were some of the only people in the restaurant at the time so that might not be true when it is more full. As for the food, I was honestly surprised at how good it was. I have spent most of my life in the San Francisco bay area, so I'm used to fresh-off-the-boat sushi and came in expecting low quality sushi. However, this was not the case. I ordered the lobster roll and the dragon roll, and both were average (again, this coming from my high and admittedly snobby bar for sushi from living near the bay). The lobster itself was just ok, but I'm sure it's about as good as you can get living so far away from the ocean. My fiancé ordered pho and it was delicious! Only thing I have to really complain about is the unagi handroll which came with two thin, measly slices of eel, but was otherwise very tasty. Oddly enough, the miso soup was spectacular! I have visited ~20 or so unique sushi restaurants in my life and all of their miso soup tasted the same, so I was surprised to find Fuki's version tasted noticeably better than the rest. All in all, food and service were great! It is a bit expensive, but on par with normal sushi restaurant prices. Highly recommend if you want to have some sushi here in Oshkosh. read more

Where do I start. This is our weekly Friday night go-to for take-out. Food quality is the finest in the area. Everything is freshly made, not like your normal take out. We just prefer to eat at home, so we come here. We were surprised with how good the food was from the start. I believe we have come every week since they've opened the doors. I give them a break on the ambiance (too bright), and also the sitcoms on the bar TV's. Note to owners, TV's around the bar are for sports. Lastly, a shout out to the best bartendar in the area, Freddy. He's been here, gone then back again. I want to start by saying I'm a very patient person especially with the service industry as I've been apart of it for 11 plus years. I love Fuki's food the majority of the time, but service has been spotty recently. Today however did the deal in confirmation I won't be back. They weren't busy, had plenty of waitstaff walking around chatting to each other, and maybe two customers total. When I came in the door, they were all standing within feet of me talking to each other, they looked at me once, then avoided looking at me from that point forward. It was as if I were a brick wall or invisible. They REFUSED to even acknowledge me and say "I'll be with you in just a moment" or anything. Just standing within feet of me ignoring me. I stood there for about 10 mins as I watched them all leave and go to the back for a chat party. I walked up to the sushi bar and asked if someone could seat me or if I needed to go elsewhere. A lady finally came up after ignoring me the entire time, and acted like she was appalled at having to do her job. I've now been sitting at the booth for another 15 mins and no one has asked to take my drink or food order. This is strange behavior and I can only hope they do something before they lose other customers the same way. I love your food Fuki, but being ignored by your employees when not busy is not okay. read more

I asked for white rice because I detest fried rice , got fried rice, when I paid for take out, she didn't give me my change, just looked at me like I owed her a tip. Why would I tip her, I picked it up ! She did nothing . The sesame chicken was ok except several pieces were just fried batter. Very disappointing. Back to our reliable Royal kitchen !!!
