Steak & shrimp hibachi dinner. Presentation is outstanding.
    Emily A.

My husband & I tried Fuki's for the first time last night & we're so happy we stopped in. The crab rangoon's are incredible & the best that I've had. I'm not kidding. They're reason enough to stop in & try this place out. Out waitress was such a sweetheart. It did take longer than usual for the bartender to make my husband's mixed drink (I ordered the Japanese soda & the waitress brought it to me immediately). We ordered the specialty sushi rolls & the combo hibachi dinner with steak & shrimp. The sushi was delicious & the hibachi had so much flavor. The presentation of each item was incredible. They really went the extra mile with garnishments including very delicate knife peeling work for the fruity drinks. We'll definitely be repeat customers.

I had the steak teriyaki. The sauce was full of flavor. Everything was fresh. The steak was soft and buttery. It was served with a side salad which I enjoyed, the dressing was very sweet. We also ordered an order of the crab rangoons and I wished we would have ordered more, they were the best I have had! Ontop of the delicious food came the excellent customer service!

I'm halfway between disappointed and pissed off! The quality is okay but the portions are a little ridiculous. Pictured is $95 worth of sushi and not a single packet of soy sauce in the bag! At least picknsave was open and is only a 3-mile drive away. Thank God I left them a $8 tip for delivering and paying a surcharge on top of it. Second time in two months this has happened. Won't be going to or ordering delivery from this restaurant again.

I was rather unimpressed by this place. I was really hoping there was going to be a good sushi place near me but this place fell flat. Drinks- They do have a wide variety of drinks including custom cocktails. I did not have anything to drink other than iced tea so I cant say how good the cockails were. The iced tea was average. Food- I tried the General Tso's bento box and my girlfriend had the Chicken Teriyaki. I was very unimpressed. The California roll that came with the meal was very loosely rolled and fell apart very easily. The chicken in both our meals tasted like your typical shopping mall food court Chinese food. It was bland and the only flavor was sugar. The Shrimp Tempura was decent and the crunch was fantastic. The highlight of the meal had to be the Crab Rangoons. They were delicious. I even joked that if I came here again it would to only get an order of rangoons to go. Service- Service was good. My tea was refilled pretty regularly, we didn't have to wait around for the check, and when we first arrived we were greeted and sat promptly. Overall, this place was not as good as I was hoping. I might go back to try a different meal entirely but if you go avoid the Bento boxes and especially avoid the sushi.

Awesome food. I had sushi and crab rangoon. Sushi was beautifully plated. My boyfriend had fried rice and sushi. We got a grilled shrimp and steak skewer to try also. Everything was really good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Fuki continues to have great service, great food and reasonable prices. This is one of the best place in Oshkosh for dine-in Asian food.

We like the Pad Thai and the pho. Prompt efficient service and good prices. We usually get the food to go, but the dining area is pleasant.

Beside the restaurant is a parking lot that becomes free after 6pm. Walked in on an early Wednesday evening. It is spacious with high ceiling. They sell some t-shirts with Filipino designs. Our server Bel was friendly and personable. The ginataang kalabasa and lumpias were not available at early dinner on that day. Nevertheless, food was delicious with generous portions. Manila rice bowl is sisig with green and red bell peppers and sunny side up egg. It can be pork or tofu. Adobo fusion is good. Pork was tender and flavorful. For desserts, the maja did not have a soft jelly consistency that I am used to as it was firm, dense and packed with flavor. They use high quality ingredients for the halo-halo including ube and leche flan. Enjoyed our dining experience here and the delicious food. Highly recommended!

Hugely disappointing. We haven't been to Manila in a few years. We remembered it being so good but…read morethis visit was a massive let down. We were given menus by the server but not told that anything on there was not available. We spent a good long time deciding what to have only to find out that the Ginataang Kalabasa was not available. This would have been really nice to know when being handed the menus because we spent such a long time deciding and I hadn't thought of a backup. So when it came my turn to order I asked for the Chicken Katsu. My friends had chicken skewers (this person isn't a big eater so didn't want to end up with a massive portion they couldn't eat) and the other person had the tofu curry. The food took forever to come out. We waited at least 45 mins. And the place wasn't busy. We had walked in at maybe 5:15pm so I have no idea why we waited so long. But I didn't mind because I thought we were getting freshly cooked authentic food that would be worth the wait. I was wrong. Finally our food arrived. The chicken katsu was two massive breaded fried pieces of chicken on a yucky looking lettuce leaf with a side dish of Java rice (just yellow rice) and a take out size plastic container of sweet sauce. It was nothing like the menu described 'served over a bed of rice in a bowl'. The chicken was bland and had too much breading and was fatty (from the frying). It just tasted one dimensional - of salt and that was it. The sauce was boring, just tasted of sugar. And the rice was just yellow rice. Didn't have much flavor to it at all. It was not what I was expecting from what I would think of as chicken katsu. The tofu curry was fine. It had lots of vegetables but wasn't as good as we remembered. Again just seemed to be a bit bland and lacked depth. The chicken skewers were abysmal. I realize that they're an appetizer but they were not at all what we expected. They were very small and contained a lot of dark meat, so a lot of fatty pieces. There was no sauce with them. Little flavor. We didn't finish the food because it was just so bland and disappointing. To add insult to injury, the drink menu advertises a happy hour (buy one drink and get one free or something to that effect). We were there on the right day at the right time but apparently the happy hour deal is only available at the bar! What on earth? I remember Manila being a really good restaurant but this was so disappointing that we will not be going back. I don't know what has changed?

We all got drinks, for 5 people: it was 165, which from my experience is pretty good. The restaurant had a very cool vibe with a colorful bar area, and bamboo to separate the hibachi area from the dining area where people ordered from the kitchen. It was fun, tasty, and the chef was really funny. Would go again :)

The meal started on shaky ground with the tuna tataki. Dry and somewhat fishy, I had no desire to have more than one piece. The ponzu sauce also did not have the flavorful, citrusy tartness that could have saved this dish. Thankfully, things did get better. The Spanish grasshopper roll was flavorful, much more fresh tasting, and had a nice level of heat. The dragon roll and the crazy roll were also decent but not amazing. Thankfully, the tataki set the bar pretty low for everything else. Service was also decent in that our server was friendly but somewhat forgetful and main courses didn't quite arrive together leaving some to stare at their food while others waited for theirs. This was not a major issue, though, and only helps to explain why this was just an average experience. One final note was how unusually dark the restaurant was with very dark paint-chipped walls. Additionally, the walk to the restrooms took me past a small graveyard of broken and unused chairs. The spiral bound menus were all in various levels of disrepair. The only reason I mention these things is because there's a certain level of attention to small details that can make or break my level of comfort in eating sushi at any particular restaurant. Pricing was shockingly inexpensive for the amount of food. Unsurprisingly, a service charge was added since our group was large - but I was shocked that it was only 15% - which I have never seen. We all made sure to add to the gratuity reflective of our appreciation for the hard work of our server. Overall, not fantastic - but definitely not the worst sushi place I have been. Not sure I have a strong desire to give this one another try, though.
