Take out only right now. All transactions take place inside the front door. I was presently surprised with my sushi! It was very good (not always sure in small town restaurants). Also had the sesame chicken which was maybe more in the average category. Overall - solid 4! Everything was packaged well and did not any problems with ordering or pick up.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is super cute. They have lunch specials that run every day of the week which is awesome. The sushi was sushi - nothing super spectacular. I also wasn't overly impressed with the Rangoon. Great service though!

I mean, It's sushi in Beaver Dam. They can make a roll. Some of the special rolls are great. Service was very good and it's a nice quiet Dinning experience. Might I also suggest, getting an order of French fries. They are fried like tempura, and are absolutely amazing.

Every experience I've had here has been extremely positive, and tonight exceeded those standards! For background, I didn't realize there was another Sake House location. I ordered from the location in Watertown (accidentally), so when we went to pick up in Beaver Dam, they obviously had not idea what we were talking about; but, once I realized we'd ordered from the Watertown location they were the absolute sweetest (about MY mistake) and remade my order from the BD location in under 15 min. Aside from the amazing service they consistently have, the food is ALWAYS on point. I've had sushi from CA, FL, NJ/NY, Korea, etc., and Sake House's spicy tuna roll is still the best I've ever had. Any roll you get here is totally worth it. Fresh, never fishy-tasting, and well-made. I can't rave enough about this place. Tonight we ordered hibachi chicken, a shrimp teriyaki bento box, and a sushi order of a spicy tuna roll and an avocado roll (along with a side salad, miso soup, and a house salad). Literally everything was to die for. We were charged a $1.50 convenience fee, which I haven't seen here before, but would pay 3x over just to have the food! Props to Sake House, and I'm very glad these guys are surviving the pandemic! 100/10 dentists recommend.

Bottom line: awesome service -awesome food. We were on a road trip and mid-afternoon (3:30 pm) we were hungry for lunch and I was hungry for Asian. I checked out Yelp and saw the ratings for this place so trusting my fellow Yelpers, decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. We were surprised to see the restaurant in a strip mall but upon entry of Sake we were warmly greeted and floated to our booth as soft music played into the background. The decor was pleasant and relaxing and seated allowed for a peaceful intimate conversation. We only had water (with lemon) to drink and Started with a plate of crab sushi rolls and pork dumplings. The dumplings were fresh and hot and delicious. Likewise with the sushi rolls which were wrapped in a sliver of mango and served with the customary wasabi and ginger slices. The General Taos chicken had the right amount of heat for spice and was Served with rice and two spring rolls and the combination (chicken/beef/shrimp) soba noodles were fresh and Mildly seasoned yet delicious. I like spicy food and could have asked for some Hot sauce but ended up pouring a dish of sweet hot sauce that was served with the spring rolls. It added another layer of flavor To The soba noodles that were Really tasty on their own. We are looking forward to coming back to try more from their menu. After the initial review we have been back here several times and have never been disappointed. Food is always fresh and delicious. This time we splurged (as in calories) and tried the fried ice cream. My husband had never had it before and he thought it was awesome and especially liked the coating. It was like a tempura batter then deep fried with the ice cream inside. It is served with whipped cream with Cherry on top drizzled with chocolate syrup. I have had fried ice cream at a Mexican restaurant before and preferred that coating to the tempura like coating. Regardless, it was still wicked.

Even in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin you can expect to find me eating sushi. This place surprisingly had the most reviews in the area though so I trusted it. Sure enough, the restaurant was crowded on this Monday night. I got the sushi app, seaweed salad, and royal roll. The fish was okay, nothing special. We had also gotten the spicy salmon dumplings, but these were not what we were expecting at all...first the waitress forgot that we ordered them but when they were brought out after our meal we were shocked. It's essentially spicy salmon pieces surrounded by avocado. No one liked how mushy this appetizer was... Another average meal in Wisconsin. Not too much to do out here but at least they had sushi!

Beaver Dam!!! Who knew this would be a place to find a fantastic little sushi joint? I came in during the week for lunch and this place had over 9 tables consistently. A surprise to me in a small town like this for sushi on a weekday. The lunch specials are great! Filling and not overpriced. I kind of wanted a bento box but I'm too addicted to sushi to pass that up for a hot asian lunch. If I was back in the area for lunch I'd definitely stop in again.

I'm not sure what to say here. The reviews were great the food wasn't. The ginger, soy sauce and wasabi was the best part. I ordered spring rolls - definitely frozen and cooked or tasted that way. Crab Rangoon - not bad. Da bomb roll - condiments comment. And the combo Yaki soba- steamed meat and noodles. No sauce or flavor. I would've thrown it away if I didn't have pepper sauce and Sriracha at home. Very disappointing effort in my opinion.

Jennifer made some recommendations based on our tastes - even on the beer side, which I was a bit hesitant to try, given my unfamiliarity. Ended up trying both Japanese beers that were offered and they were both excellent and paired well with my meal. Sushi and Hibachi dinners were fresh and filling. Loved the different sauces that were added to the dishes, and others were brought as well for appetizers that were ordered. Splurged on food here, I must say. We were really hungry, and I was eager to try a variety of what Sake House had to offer, so we ordered more than we normally would for a standard outing. It was cool that they even have Boba on their menu! And the taste was fantastic! We ate all our food and had no trouble with conversations, given the quiet environment. Staff was friendly and attentive, and I will return when I'm back in the area, for sure.

The neighborhood is nice and Sake Sushi is located in a small plaza, however I almost missed it since it is located on the side of the plaza and was not visible from the street. Inside I found an interesting mix of decor, it seems like a traditional Asian restaurant with white linen tableclothes and also some very modern touches including neon strip lighting along the ceiling and a variety of light fixtures. Overall a bit of a mishmash that would be better if they picked one style and stayed with it. I got there in the late afternoon so the place was empty at first, I was seated and given the menu which allows you to fill out what you want. The menu is fairly similar to other AYCE sushi places I have been at. Of note is that at dinner you can order up to 15 pieces of sashimi without an extra charge. I ordered a nice selection of sashimi, some sushi, a couple of different maki rolls, the salmon skin salad and the seafood soup. Interestingly the sashimi and sushi came out first, then the maki rolls, then the soup and salad. The sashimi was very good, fresh with nice sized pieces; the nigiri sushi had a nice portion of seafood to rice. I was a bit disappointed with the seafood soup, just a bit under seasoned and too much bean sprouts. The salmon skin salad was excellent with nicely roasted smoked salmon skin mixed with a bit of eel sauce, delicious, crunchy and one of my favorites that you don't see everywhere. I also enjoyed the scallops sashimi, large fresh raw scallops with a nice delicate flavor and texture. The maki rolls were good as well, nicely sized with plenty of filling. I did really enjoy the Super Lobster Roll with shrimp tempura, cucumbers, avocado then topped with lobster salad; the lobster salad was a nice treat, although I think it was made with lagostino lobsters it was still tasty. I also liked their version of spider roll, the soft shell crab was crispy and flavorful. I enjoyed my meal at Sake Sushi, dinner was $30 for all you can eat. The sushi and sashimi were very good, of course not quite the same quality as the best sushi bars but pretty close. Service was good and there are plenty of choices, including noodle dishes, fried rice, hibachi and tempura. The decor is a bit of a miss, but nothing that will keep you from enjoying your meal. Well worth a try if you are hungry and feel like some sushi and Japanese food.

The bad: Kid visited without me and they were charged an excess fee for broth left behind on ramen. This is wild. The best thing you can get: Tempura shrimp (not greasy, light and flavorful) ** Sushi. I partook December 2025 and can't stop thinking about how filling the role was and tasty and made fresh + fast. The rice just rolled into my mouth while everything was done well. 1 roll was filling that's how thoughtfully curated it was made. Both time service was good but the most recent visit the service was personable and talkative which I welcomed as we shared an affinity for their tempura shrimp. Great value for what they offer. I'd much rather have this buffet setup akin to the Italian buffet setup versus a hot bar with stale food. Make it to order. Great variety. Be weary of the server that will decide to overcharge you based on what they perceive to be waste.
