Pike fish fry and deep fried whole potato

Step back in time in this supper club. No frills, just good honest food. Inside is a step back in time, which I appreciated. Our waitress was amazing and on her toes. I would come back!

MCM salad bar fixture! It's spectacular!! And the various salads and classic supper club items were in abundance.

Found this place for my Son's birthday dinner. Walked in and I loved the entire bar! Was seated at a table for 3. We all went over the menu and decided on steaks and seafood. The salad bar is the coolest MCM style fixture. Nice salads on there, everything was fresh and really great. Lots of home made pasta and veggie salads. Our soups were spectacular and hot hot! I loved that. Our dinners came out and these were some of the best steaks we have had in awhile! Quality, perfectly cooked and hot hot, I loved that. We will definitely be back. Don't underestimate this quiet delicious GEM!! When our dinners came out, no one took a photo. We were so excited to dig in.

There's a bar inside the steakhouse. They should just name they're place Volker's bar & steak house.

Frozen perch with frozen potato pancakes

Friday Night Fish Fry Had the Pike & steak frys Perch & potato pancakes ================================ When you walk in the you'll see mainly people in their 70s-90s. And you'll think, must be great fish!? Then it gets a little confusing.... You need to check in with the bar bartender to get seats (eventually) So, you sit and wait at the bar. While you're waiting I recommend the Brandy old Fashioned sweet, probably the best thing we had there. After that they'll eventually come to you and take your order. But you don't get seated yet. So you have to order another drink.. Or two.. Or three.. It took forever getting seated not sure if it was because the old people eat slowly and talk forever. Then finally you get seated and your food is already there. Which i wasnt a big fan of. When I looked at it my initail thought was outta a bag kinda fish. I ordered the perch and my husband ordered pike. Thank god we didn't order a salad bar for 2.50 not much for a salad bar and cheap looking lettuce. The fish was definitely not fresh, frozen, and pretty much all tasted the same. Everything was like straight outta the freezer. I had freezer potato pancakes, gross! My husband had fries not that great either. The coslaw was the best thing. This place I wouldn't recommend unless your super old, and want a weekly social hours with your old friends. Or if you like frozen fish that was worse than Gordmans. I was kinda watching them make food from my seat and they used a microwave quite often. For what? Never mind... I don't wanna know. Definitely disappointed. Probably won't be going back any time soon. Unless they do fresh fish and actually cook.

Looks great!

Small town supper club. Food was great and the ambience was that of a traditional supper club.

Every experience I've had here has been extremely positive, and tonight exceeded those standards!…read more For background, I didn't realize there was another Sake House location. I ordered from the location in Watertown (accidentally), so when we went to pick up in Beaver Dam, they obviously had not idea what we were talking about; but, once I realized we'd ordered from the Watertown location they were the absolute sweetest (about MY mistake) and remade my order from the BD location in under 15 min. Aside from the amazing service they consistently have, the food is ALWAYS on point. I've had sushi from CA, FL, NJ/NY, Korea, etc., and Sake House's spicy tuna roll is still the best I've ever had. Any roll you get here is totally worth it. Fresh, never fishy-tasting, and well-made. I can't rave enough about this place. Tonight we ordered hibachi chicken, a shrimp teriyaki bento box, and a sushi order of a spicy tuna roll and an avocado roll (along with a side salad, miso soup, and a house salad). Literally everything was to die for. We were charged a $1.50 convenience fee, which I haven't seen here before, but would pay 3x over just to have the food! Props to Sake House, and I'm very glad these guys are surviving the pandemic! 100/10 dentists recommend.

It is no wonder that this shop is so favored by the locals. There are a few Chinese and a few American selections on their menu scattered among a plethora of Japanese offerings which is what we came for. This restaurant deserves a solid 4 stars.

They had a great salad bar included with every dinner, bread, and a good choice of sides. My wife ordered the blackberry blue cheese pork loin. She was disappointed with her meal, as the pork wasn't seasoned, and the freezer blackberries (not a sauce, as advertised), were overpowered by the large amount of blue cheese. My prime rib special was great! It was advertised as a 12 ounce, but this must have been a full pound. Perfectly cooked medium rare with a seasoned edge, and swimming in a delicious au jus. I also had horseradish on top. The onion rings I ordered as a side also went well as a topping. The Old Fashioneds were good, but not great. If you're going to charge $7, might as well muddle some cherries instead of using a mix. Not a major conlmplaint, but that little extra touch is nice. Their lack of business concerns me- hopefully they do more weekend/fish fry business, but this is a nice place you should check out if you're nearby.
