I booked an initial tweeze session with Shante but got a wax. I should have confirmed before I…read morelaid down, but the service provider has a schedule of what she is doing so I don't feel like I should have to confirm. I also expressed my sensitive skin worries, before the service and she acknowledged that, but still used the wax anyways. The skin above and below my eyes was red and peeling for two days after the service. When I asked about it, all I was told was to put Benadryl on my skin. Cortisone near one's eyes is not a great idea from a medical standpoint. It was too late to stop her as I didn't know what she was doing til she pulled the wax linen strip off. I thought she was still using the template when she was touching my face. I also had to ask for the color fill although it was included in the price. $55 is very high for the factory like service I received. I felt as though my service was not individualized and everyone going to Shante gets the same exact procedure no matter what you pay for. The only reason, this was not one star, was because it was very easy to book on the website. Other than that, there is no positives with booking at this beauty Lounge. Many places do a much better job, and cost 20 to 30% less. I definitely will not be back.

Music was good but I wish they had some TVs (it was kinda awkward vibes sitting there staring at nothing as neither of the ladies made conversation with me). I told him I fully understood and rescheduled for that following Monday. I asked how early she would be there and he advised to come when they opened. I arrive and Layla's 10 minutes late. She spent our time having conversations with another young man who work there. Passing credit cards. Making orders for the shop and needing to stop almost every 10 to 15 minutes. I enjoyed the results of magic nails but was beginning to see it wasn't consistent. The following visit I was paired with LeeLee (sp?) A remarkably quick young pregnant lady. She was charming and engaging and fast. I loved the work that she did. I made an appointment yesterday to meet w Leelee again. I know from experience to confirm everything before leaving my house. I confirmed I was being paired with the correct young woman, I asked for a specific time and the young woman on the phone had to have been training. She put me on hold every 2 minutes. I took that to mean she was confirming everything I asked. I show up for my appointment, the young lady and another woman at the reception counter seemed very confused. Then another woman came and looked at the computer. Finally Leelee walked up, listen to what the ladies had to say, looked at me and then walked back to her station. No. Acknowledgment. The one woman I was familiar with said that Lily wasn't in fact available and wanted to know if I could reschedule. At this point I just said I would go somewhere else, very quietly and politely. So instead of spending 45 minutes to an hour there at the salon, we spent just over two hours and my two daughters had to wait for me to get my complete pedicure done. They did not offer a discount for us waiting so long. What's the point in making an appointment if you're not actually given an appointment or only 2/3 of your group appointment starts on time. Between the pedicures and the nails we spent just over four hundred dollars there. This is the not service I expect for that kind of money.
