On the installation, Alex and Jose did a excellent job. Great guys and they're pro's at what they do. The vinyl's excellent. That's the good part. Make sure and have all your estimates, cause this was a hard sale. We were put on the spot to sign the contract then or lose all their discounts. We had to move our selection on vinyl from 4 selections to just 2 selections to save money. They seemed to make sure you didn't go to anyone else for floors for sure. Replaced laminated floor and Kitchen and laundry room with wood flooring. Worst install I ever saw. Started install in August 2019 and now October 2019 and job is not finished. Installers have been here three times and keep saying that they did not have enough flooring to complete job. I still have one area without flooring. It's in my master bathroom and I can not use the room. Wood floor that is installed does not look professional, has gaps between the planks that water runs into. Should have been a two day install, now 53 days and counting. DO NOT Contract with 50 Floors !! read more

Low cost and great results. Installer showed with entry level pad, but wasn't sure when I tried to confirm upgraded weight and moisture protection option i chose. Went to warehouse office nearby for confirmation and they rushed upgraded pad, on contract, to site! Near miss, but unintended mistake. Installer has you sign off on product brought at arrival so look closely or there may be no recourse. Looks great now! read more

I've used several flooring companies throughout the years and 50 is about like the others. Pros: 1. sales person comes to your home with the samples so you can see them in your space. 2. offers a good finance program 3. competitive pricing 4. one day installation Cons: 1. the product was not the quality I ask for from the salesman. it was the correct color and pattern BUT not the quality I thought I had signed up for. I ask for engineered wood but received a vinyl of some sort. I'm not a flooring expert and most of us aren't so when the installer showed me a piece of the flooring and ask me to approve it, the color and pattern looked correct but when it was installed at the end of the day it wasn't what I had ask for. So, make sure you know what your buying before you buy. color, style and the quantity 2. no one from the company ever calls to follow up. which tells me customer satisfaction is not very important to them. I understand I should have done more to insure my purchase was satisfactory and I will need to accept what I got but it would have made it easier to live with if the company would have at least followed up after the installation 3. the sample engineered wood sample they showed me was not what I received. don't know how that happened because the brand and name was correct in the packaging it came in. I had the worse experience with 50Floors. The technicians did a great jo, but everyone outside of the technician didn't know what was going on. When the sales rep came for my consultation I was promised something that wasn't fulfilled. The sale rep stated that I would get my baseboards replaced to match my other baseboard. I informed the sale rep that I had another appointment with another company right after her. She asked what she could do for me to cancel the appointment with the other company, and I told her I wanted a lower price and baseboards to match my other baseboard. The day of the install I asked the techs if they were aware of my baseboard request and he stated that it wasn't on the order. He called his manager and inquired about it. The manager stated that it wasn't apartment of my order. The manager called me and assured me they could replace them, but it would be a $700 charge. I explained to her that was incorrect. I requested the telephone number of the sales rep ( couldn't locate at the current time) and the manager was very relucted about the request. She asked me to hold. She clicked over and contacted the sales rep. The manager told me that the sales rep remembered the conversation, but there was a miscommunication somewhere. After ending the call I located the sales rep number. I called her and explained to her the dilemma. She kept stating that there was a miscommunication. I strongly believe things were said in order for me to sign up with 50Floor. If I knew what I know now I wouldn't have went with 50Floor. Also to end the install job the tech asked for payment. I explained to him that I financed the job. He stated that he didn't see that on his paperwork. He had to contact his manager again. When he called the manager stated the system was down and she couldn't verify at the time. The tech ended up taking a picture of my invoice that the sales rep provided and showed him my cc that I received. The ball was dropped once again. The job was completed and the baseboards are beyond unacceptable. Please be careful with 50floor, because things will be said that aren't fulfilled. read more

Do not walk- RUN!! This company made a mess of our floors!! They installed carpet and then flooring and refused to do the bottom two stairs - so the bottom two stairs have our old flooring on them!!! They just won't fix it!!! We spend tons of money on both the carpet and the flooring. The salesman, MARK, made a mess out of our house. RUN TO ANOTHER CONPANY!!!!! read more

I recently used the Grand Prairie, Tx. location to have carpeting installed. The carpet I had installed was beautiful. However during the installation process, a picture was knocked off the wall and broken and there was some damage to the baseboards. After sending pictures and speaking to the manager, John, he agreed to repair the baseboards. Vito and Jose came out today and replaced the damaged baseboards. I really appreciate Vito's attention to detail to try to make the baseboards look original. He is very professional and courteous. I would definitely use 50 Floor again. Thank you. read more

On 12/16/2021, I signed a contract with 50FLOOR for Phenix N259 Front Runner carpeting and laminate flooring. On installation in the beginning of January, the master bedroom has a seam running thru the center of the room between the bedroom hallway entrance and the master bathroom entrance. It was very high (at least 3-4 inches high) and hard. (Similar to a speed bump.) The installer came back and said it was NOT a seam, but a crease in the carpet. He then ran a small apparatus over the seam for well over an hour and also stretched the carpet. This reduced the "bump" but did not eliminate it. Since that time, I have informed them we need this corrected as it is unsightly and UNSAFE. I have told them that my husband & I have an inner ear problem that causes severe imbalance issues at times, and this is a trip hazard. I have told them the seam should be near the head of the bed close to the wall, not in the middle of a walkway/high traffic area as it goes down the middle of our bedroom between 2 doorways. Per Aaron, Supervisor, the carpet is going the correct way "per industry standards". He said he would come see the issue on 5/31/22. I said I needed this resolved, not just people coming over to assess (which they have done multiple times). I informed him that if this continues to remain unresolved, I would notify his corporate office and the Better Business Bureau. He said that was a good idea and told me to do so. Also, there is also a run like defect running the length of the hallway. They ordered a replacement from the vendor for the hallway saying it was a defect. We are hoping for a resolution. read more

Don't use this company. I thought I was buying thick 5 inch hardwood. The product they sold me was not real hardwood like they claim. It's plywood, with more plywood added on top, and then a thin layer of red wood. Based on how this floor dents if you practically look at it, it's not hardwood. Or even a little water and the coating starts to pucker like it's shrinking. If I drop an ice cube I could get a double hit with a dent and the finish showing issues. You will pay a premium price for something that is not much better then lament, but in some ways worse than lament. They will up-sell you and tell you fancy words or describe it in a way that makes you believe it's strong and won't scratch or dent if you have animals. But it's all not true. This floor would dent even if I didn't have pets. I hate to think what it would do it I wore high heels. The floor is less than 2 years old and has more than 40 dents in it. Also, it's starting to show large gaps in areas, which I've been told is the normal expansion/contraction due to weather. Really, when it's not consistent through the whole floor and some areas are thicker than a quarter? If you take this "warranty" floor and complain to 50 floors they will tell you to take pictures and send it to them. Then after seeing the photos, they called to set up a time to see the floor. It made me believe there was something wrong with the floor, because why ask someone to sit around for 2 hours waiting for someone from their company to come out and examine the floor. Instead I'm told it's normal. So I wasted most of my afternoon to be told this is what "hardwood" does? If you read online about hardwood you will see it "might" indicate it can scratch but shouldn't dent. Mine isnt scratching. After getting upset with 50 floors they offered to let me replace the floor to tile, but I would have to pay an additional $2400 for product. They would pay for labor. It's a nice offer, but what about the almost $5000 I spent on this BAD so called "hardwood". Also, the men who installed the floor took out tile originally. This caused a lot of damage to the baseboards they removed. However, you sign away your rights on that. Yet, they also put some good sized dings in the wall and above the baseboards connected to the kitchen cabinets. Thus causing my walls needing to be repainted and my kitchen cabinets too. All in all the only winner to this story is 50 Floor for up-selling me with a story about how "hardwood" would be better than getting tile or lament. So beware, if you buy Trinity Industry flooring, Hillshire 5inch RedOak you are getting nothing more than plywood layers with a small layer of wood, not 5 inches of hardwood. Sounds like a scam but they say it's "Engineered hardwood" or what I call double talk. I now have an expensive floor that I have to baby like it's a carton of eggs. read more

Called 50 Floor after seeing the ad on good morning Texas. Had a very specific carpet in mind that I wanted to use. Very specifically told the woman who answers the phone that I was only interested in using 50 floor if I could confirm that they could obtain the specific carpet I had already selected. 50 Floors refused to check on the ability to order this specific brand and color of carpet and insisted I had to clear my schedule for a time to meet the sales person at my house to do the whole sales pitch before they would even confirm for me whether they could get my carpet! While I did not get my floors done with them, Tommy came out and provided excellent service. The only reason I mention this is that I had a Sales person come out after Tommy who worked for Empire and was horrible. They did not know what they were selling and referred me to the information on the back of the carpet sample. They tried to high pressure sales me wanting me to lock in my quote then and there and if I didn't want their service, I would have to call to cancel or be charged! ha. yea right. So this made me appreciate those that did a great job, were knowledgeable about their industry, and didn't attempt to pressure me. Tommy is what a great employee should resemble and I can only hope you have more of employees like him. read more

50 Floors was very professional and efficient in the meeting to do the measurements and quote. Very personable salesman and I signed the deal. They were also willing to disassemble/reassemble some larges pieces of furniture for me. However, after reconsidering the price, I felt I needed to do more research and get other quotes. When speaking with the exec, he was very accommodating when I wanted to cancel. I ended up not going with this company for my floors, but I want to say they were very professional and handled the refund of my deposit quickly and efficiently. I think they would have done a good job, but I opted to go another way. read more

Sales guy was terrible, extremely pushy (had hearing problems, which i don't mind at all but prefer to be able to talk to someone about a large purchase) Took way too long at initial appointment and once i said i was not making a purchase that night he left quick and didn't answer additional questions or even say thank you, etc. so rude. read more

Convenience of the customer representative coming to the house was awesome. We love our new carpet.

The salesman is not an employee, he is a contractor. Efforts to phone him at the number on his card were never answered. WORST INSTALL EVER. The installers didn't use enough glue (they told me this) resulting in about 1/3 of the boards not being bonded to the floor. Tapping on the hollow boards resulted in a drum sound, obviously not totally glued down.Installers solution is to drill holes in the new boards and inject glue, then plug the holes. They had to borrow my drill as they did not bring one. Then the injector to force glue under the boards book so they were done that day. Next time they were here they ran out of glue. One other day they were going to come out, but the glue store was closed on Saturday. Aaron a manager called and told me it takes several days for the injected glue to set up, so wait (a stalling tactic hoping I will just give up). The installers had told me earlier that it takes 72 hours for the glue to set up. So here I am with a definitely not new floor as it has holes drilled in it, and a company that won't honor their warranty. read more

I was hesitant at first that the salesperson would have enough samples to satisfy what I had told the rep on the phone. John came out and really listened to me; went to his truck and came back with *exactly* what I was looking for and did not know it existed. He told me it came with a warranty. The installation of the carpet was easy, and they really cleaned up after themselves. I had a cat urinate on one of the carpets and we didn't get to it in time for it to dribble into the rug pad. I called a professional cleaning service who claimed they could get it out and they did not do so. I called 50 Floor to ask them for advice. The rep had a manager call me and he offered to replace the whole room new carpet!!!! They really stand behind their product and their word. My highest recommendations!! read more

I simply wanted to know what they charge for the product I chose and installation service, shouldn't need my budget to tell me what you charge. No effort was made before the job to provide a copy of the contract. My house was not prepared as promised to protect my things from dust etc. They opened/mixed bags of powdery cement in the entry, causing a huge cloud of dust to suck into the house which hovered for days, coating everything. Only the biggest pieces were put back, & not the chairs and end tables. read more

After 14 years and water damage from the December 26, 2016 tornado that hit OVilla we researched and decided to go with 50 floors and from the sales representative, installers and customer service reps we recommend them highly. The carpet (Egyptian sand) on the stairs and the bamboo for an upstairs TV room floor look great. Looking forward to placing some throw rugs on the bamboo and spending time with family and friends watching movies. read more

This company overestimated the square footage of carpet I needed with waste by over 400 sq ft! Multiply 400 sq ft by the price they charge to see how much I would have overpaid. Being off by that much isn't a mistake, it's a way to make you overpay for material you don't need. Do your own homework before you blindly trust and go with this company. read more

The customer service here is wonderful. After hearing from the manager, the team came back to address our concerns and fixed most of them (as with squeaks there's only so much that can be done).
