I had wood flooring in the den and bedroom (20 years old) so we selected a product that closely matched the existing wood. Took about a week to get the product in from the manufacturer. Doug called about three days before scheduled installment date and wanted to drop the wood off so that it could get acclimated to the house ( wood expands and contracts based on the humidity etc of the house). They have been in business for 30+ years so they know about the products. The two installers showed up on time, moved the large furniture and began removing the existing carpet. These two brothers are great. My fireplace has a rounded brick hearth that required cutting the brick so that the wood could be placed under the hearth instead of trying to cover it with 1/4 round wood. Now it looks like the fireplace was built on top of the wood floor. Total job took about four days. No way it could have been completed in less time. If a large franchise company says they can do it in one day. Don't believe them. It takes 24 hours for the glue to dry, so be ware. Recommend Carpet Connection without hesitation. These people are great.

The flippers who worked on our house before…read morewe bought it had sections of the floor installed directly over the old hardwood and a section of that hardwood plank was pushing up from underneath the LVP. Fast Flooring started on a Monday morning and removed the old hardwood, patched sections of the subfloor, added new paper, new plywood, a vapor barrier and the LVP flooring all by Friday afternoon. They provided pictures and updates throughout the process so I could stay up to date with their progress and ultimately, I feel that they did a high quality job.

They were super fast to respond to my initial request, less that an hour and I sent the request through yelp fairly late in the evening. David came and gave us our quote explained everything to us in detail (both positive and things that could happen to prepare for ie if we needed to replace some of the floor) answered all our floor questions and then some. (FYI he's a contractor too which worked out for us as we bought a home that needs a little more love) We were in a huge time crunch to get everything done before we moved into our new home. We called on a Monday, he was able to meet us Thursday, we signed on Friday. We had a week in-between to get a few other projects done (we painted and weren't especially careful with the floors) Noe and his crew were there the next week and it took them one day to get everything sanded and the first coat of stain on. Even with just one coat of stain it looked a MILLION times better! Who knew we had beautiful floors under all that grime! All in all it took them three days to do everything, and two days for our floors to dry. David explained how to best care for our floors and I couldn't be happier. Exceptional Quality: All facets of our Flooring installation…read more Having any type of floors installed is an involved process with many phases and each phase must be completed exactly right. In terms of securing a contractor and as a standard of practice, I would never suggest just getting one quote, but in this rare case I can state unequivocally a person can exclusively select Texas Best Flooring Company and not have to look elsewhere. This company and our experience is the exception and not the rule. Keep in mind, there is a great deal that goes into installing a floor. It encompasses many steps to do it correctly and it is a trade that requires precision. When we purchased our house in 2016 it had been a remodel with one of the rooms having hardwood floors that were not sealed and secured properly. Consequently, there were issues with moisture that exacerbated the original installation. Something a buyer could not detect initially. Fast forward to March 2026 and we interviewed two contractors who claimed from their website they had years of experience installing floors. I am sure those contractors had years of experience installing floors *incorrectly.* With Texas Best Flooring, David using specific instruments for moisture detection and moisture movement was able to analyize the data and then ascertain the root cause issues along with the subsequent impacts to the previous floor. What followed was one of the best proposals we had seen from a contractor that offered a comphrehensive solution for our floor. This proposal explained the methods and scope of work necessary to accomplish this installation the right way! The way it should have been done the first time around. The thoroughness of this proposal was indicative of the work that was to follow. From the grinding of the concrete slab phase, leveling, buffing, application of specialized expansion sealants, adhesives etc...the hardwood was ready to be installed. Every step of the process was completed with utmost quality and attention to detail. Their customer service is highly knowledeable and a pleasure to work. And David's technical team is cordial, considerate, clean and professional throughout.
