Again with the non existent restaurant! It must have gone out of business, and now there's a Pakistani restaurant there. So disappointing!

I originally heard about this place from my one older sister, she told me I have to check it out, I was like, yes, I do. Walking in relatively early today there were a few people sitting in the main section, I chose the back to not disturb anyone. Greeted friendly, looking through the menu I decided to go with the calabrese bowl with had eggs, fried onions, bell peppers over home fried potatoes. Now I never realized this until telling my sister I stopped but they don't automatically add cheese in most of their dishes so if you like cheese just remember to ask them. This was very delicious, now I do my go to being OJ and the big glass of moo juice, none of that coffee for me. If you are a "no coffee" or a "coffee" person buy my tee and support the show. I had the house brew, which was good. Even better was the employee's willingness to make it to my liking. The sandwiches were warm and eggs made just like my grandmother would have, fluffy and tasty. I decided on the buffalo chicken grilled cheese--a classic grilled cheese with shredded chicken tossed in buffalo sauce. The bread was perfectly toasted, the cheese melted all the way through, and the buffalo sauce had a mild kick with a familiar flavor. I really enjoyed this sandwich. I also had a cup of broccoli and cheddar soup, which was delicious, along with a sweet, iced tea. The cafe also has a boutique store and even offers yoga classes. Rarely in my travels do I encounter such a cute coffee spot that deserves a special shout out, but Blackwatch Cafe is worth a caffeine fix detour when traveling through the Scranton area. The unique vibe hits you as soon as you walk in, as there's decor worth a look in almost every direction. It's a tasteful collection of fixtures, pictures, and figures of all kinds. There is parking nearby the cafe, and the place offers a walk up window should you wish to sit on the patio outside or grab a drink to take for a stroll in the park. I ordered an iced mocha latte (half sweet), and it was prepared to perfection with a smooth taste and just the right amount of sweetness, and no hints of bitterness. It was probably the best iced mocha drink I've had in over a year. Service from the several ladies working there was really friendly. All in all, Blackwatch Cafe was a top notch cafe experience for me, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend others give them a visit when visiting Scranton. It's definitely the kind of coffee shop the world could use more of, offering a quality product, as well as a unique cafe experience. The park offers a wonderful place to stroll as well.

My server was professional, explained that at the time I was there they did offer both breakfast and lunch with at that time with the exception of soup. My fries were hot, tasted good with a little dash of salt. My burger was nice and juicy; the tomato was a thick cut reminding me of the ones that come out of my sister's garden.
