Kina: nice woman, can style very well The weave as a whole: I feel like it could have been done better. The braiding process was fine. Not too tight or too loose. BUT it's not flat. I can't pull into a ponytail without it looking bumpy. I have ALOT of leave out, which I had her bring in and I was assured that I needed that much to cover the tracks. And just as i thought its a NIGHTMARE to try to blend everyday with so much of my natural hair left out. I didn't want to curl and flat iron my natural hair everyday like I have to now. Theres almost no weave in the front so u less my natural hair is curled, the front doesn't look full. Im noticing loose thread as well. So for what I paid, I honestly expected much more than what I received. I paid a lot of money with Kina so I wasn't going to just take it out, but I won't be returning. This review isn't to throw shade but to give my honest opinion. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO KINA:::: I feel like $175 for a sew in is the same money in DC as in Atlanta. If I'm paying that money no matter what the market, it definitely have high standards and definitely shouldn't be double tracked, which is what Im sure led to the bumpiness. The blending issue was because of too much hair being left out from the first wks. I've had installs longer than 6 to 7 wks and it held up just fine. I have been taken this install down. She helped pick out the perfect style for an upcoming photo shoot and ensured I was happy with the style before I left. This required her to make some adjustments after the initial styling and she did so quickly and with a smile. I would highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a new stylist. She made my daughter's first haircut memorable and she loves the finished product. The process was amazing but it was a bit pricey. I literally couldn't look in the mirror without crying for months. It has taken me a long time to regrow and recover from this haircut. I'm not writing this because I dislike Sabrina personally or because I'm seeking a refund. My review is pretty much identical to another person who got her hair silk pressed by the same stylist as me. The curls were non-existent as soon as I stepped out the salon even though she sprayed hair spray per my request. I didn't even really see the results until I saw it in my reflection in a window when I left. It looks like a blow out or how my hair might look if I leave it straight for a whole month. It is ridiculously dull looking. It feels like I have a whole head of fly aways. My grdauation is tomorrow, so this was *perfect* timing. I wouldn't be surprised if it's heat damaged (it wasn't thankfully, though I had to advocate for myself to have her put in heat protectant. She was a bit annoyed since she said she has a lot of exerience, but she did do it). Luckily, I was able to get it touched up by my sister. She commented that it didn't look like she straightened the roots in the back. If you happen to only see the reviews of your stylist while you're sitting in the chair like I did, I recommend making sure that you can see what they are doing - don't let them have you turned away from the mirror for long.
