For starters I've had friends who worked at multiple locations have a terrible time, which they only hire women, one of those friends was a person of color and would be treated differently then all the other workers and ended up getting slowly taken off the schedule. The other issue is they never restock. I came a couple weeks ago and asked for a roast beef sandwich, they are out. So I ask for pastrami, they are out. I ask for grilled chicken, guess what, they are out. I thought it mightve been because it was later in the day, but ever time I've tried again they NEVER have it restocked. I dont understand how you run a business but treat workers like that, and never have anything. I forgot to mention the donut crumble is just old donuts that didnt sell, so they crush them up and leave them in a bucket for rats to get to (true story from the inside, maybe run a business right and these reviews wont happen, dont let me get started on all the corners EVERY restaurant out here cuts.)

No one greets you when you walk in, and I usually have to start the conversation at the register. The staff often comes across as rude, which makes ordering uncomfortable. The only exception is one younger girl who always seems friendly, welcoming, and like she actually cares about giving good customer service. The donuts are okay, but nothing special. I've also ordered the breakfast sandwiches a couple of times, and when I asked for sourdough bread, I was given wheat instead (or at least it definitely didn't seem like sourdough). I wanted to keep supporting this place since it's local, but good customer service is just as important as good food, and that's been consistently disappointing.

Most recently, I came in with an idea for my son's 7-Eleven birthday theme, and the only things I knew were that it had to be a donut cake and with specific theme colors. The staff there helped me configure how many layers I needed and how many of each color per layer, and even helped mock it up! I ended up changing the layout anyways because I found a better tray later on, but I loved how it all came together! They only missed out on one design detail, but I didn't care. Most importantly, the donuts were all so fluffy, fresh, and ready in less than 24 hours. Love supporting small local businesses--Thanks for your patience and for the yummy donuts.

We ended up going around the block and then pulling into the side parking where people were double parked but eventually parking around the back. There were huge puddles and holes everywhere, so although we would return in the future, if the one street parking spot is not available when we drive by, we will most likely keep going. That being said there is lots of room to dine-in if you wanted. The shop itself is really just one small donut display and one small drink display. I did see that most of the low reviews here are centered around price and it was $15 for an apple fritter and old fashioned maple for myself and a ham and cheese croissant and a strawberry cruller for my husband. But the woman behind the counter was nice and very helpful. She even warmed the croissant for me. Everything tasted good and although the ham and cheese croissant was probably close to 40% of our whole purchase, it really hit the spot! The strawberry glaze n the cruller was also lovely. We would definitely return if we were in the area and the front parking was available.

I had already been having such a hard morning and had been crying. I originally stopped at ELIYANNA CAFE just hoping to get a cup of coffee, slow my day down, and give myself a little pick me up, but unfortunately I had such a terrible customer service experience that I actually left feeling even worse. After that, I came here because I wanted to grab some donuts for the kids, and I am so glad I did. I wish I had gotten the woman's name because she was absolutely wonderful. We started talking a little bit, and I think she could probably tell I was having a hard day. She treated me with so much kindness, patience, and genuine warmth. It was not anything huge or over the top, but that is exactly the point. Sometimes a small act of kindness from a stranger can mean so much more than they realize. She made me feel welcome. She made me feel seen. And after the kind of morning I had been having, that meant everything to me. I walked in feeling completely defeated and walked out feeling lighter and genuinely grateful. That is what good customer service is about. It is not just taking an order or handing someone their food. It is how you make people feel while they are there. Thank you so much to the woman who helped me today. You probably have no idea how much your kindness meant to me, but you completely changed the direction of my morning. I will absolutely be coming back and supporting this business. Places like this are a reminder that kindness really does go a long way.
