THE BIG: Beautiful Texas hill country backdrop with tons of pickleball spots in Spicewood, Texas. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with family friendly spots for kids to run around. Parking lot available. THE BLACK AND WHITE: We came here on a Sunday afternoon since this place doesn't close until 9pm. The place was PACKED! We were fortunate to find a parking spot and there is also a on-premise brewery if the wines aren't your liking. We got the wine tasting which had six wines that were all made from Monterey, California grapes. I wish there were more Texas wines here, but they were delicious. We got 3 whites, a rose and two reds. All different varietals. My favorite was the chardonnay. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall the wine tasting was around $40. Pretty expensive in my opinion. I wouldn't go for the tasting and focus on getting a glass or a bottle to share.

First time visiting, and it was a great experience! I tried their frozen drink and relaxed outside in the green area. The place is super kid-friendly with plenty of seating, and there was even a day market going on while we were there. Everyone was so friendly, and the weather made it even better!

Beautiful large area to relax and enjoy your beverage or pizza )food truck). I got the frose-- it was really good especially in this heat. There's pickle ball courts. Shares a courtyard with a brewery. There's a large open indoor area too.

This place is awesome and maybe a little too family friendly. So 5 soul owns all the property that the brewery is also on. When we went there, they had 2 food trucks. One did pizza and salads and the other hamburgers and other food. Inside of 5 souls is wicked cool. We tried many of the red wine and they were alright. The staff is super friendly and patient. They also have non alcoholic daiquiri for the kids. Just a few flavors, but the kids enjoyed them. Of course they did they are just like smaller but more expensive Slushies. The wine itself is pretty good and a tad on the pricey side IMO. $12/glass or $36 per bottle. But the atmosphere is so darn cool. It's probably one our favorite places to go to right now. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately they are an hour away.

Beautiful views, a winery, a brewery, nice grounds and Pickleball! What a great way to spend an afternoon! There is plenty of room for kids to run around, and leashed dogs are welcome. Our fur-girl had a fun time watching the kids and other dogs. We enjoyed a nice Cabernet while playing pickleball. The courts are nicely fenced and are lighted at night. There is a food truck (though we did not eat).

First time here!

First time here to celebrate a friend's birthday. There is a brewery and winery. Games such as pickleball and cornhole are also here. It's a really great atmosphere to come relax, try great wine/beer, and enjoy company

5 Soul is a GREAT concept BUT due in part to the fact it is so unleashed kid friendly the place is trashed. The GaGa pellets are all the way up to the wine bar. Kids have free reign to be kids sure BUT also demand of staff. Daddy couldn't be bothered to refill their drinks. At least the kids don't shit on the astroturf. Imagine getting ready to bit into your burger only to watch fido . Offer kid and pet friendly hours ONLY. Offer more food truck options. AND fix the mess. A leaf blower works wonders. Then fix the hundreds of light"s out ALL over the property. It looked like you only paid half your bill. Very unmanaged and Un kept.

5 Soul Wine Co has great wines and great outdoor space. They also have pickleball courts and food trucks there too. Shoutout to Jessica and incredible team for creating a wonderful spot for a wedding proposal! 5 Soul Wine Co, I will definitely return! The frozen sangria was excellent. Thanks for everything. They share space with Frontyard Brewing if beer is more your thing.

We arrived early, mainly to have a bite to eat before the tasting. Not a whole lot of food available, so we shared a couple of sandwiches. Not great, but it hit the spot. They need more food selections! The wine tasting event was first class all the way. A Winebow distributor presentation of wines from Tuscany. Very well presented, the wines presented were very good. The presenter offered extensive knowledge of the area and wineries included in the tasting. The Wine Cellar provided a nice space, somewhat small for the number in attendance. There was a cheese and charcuterie plate on each table. Really nice was the fact that the staff opened and poured the reds about one hour before the class started, giving the bold wines a change to open up a bit before the tasting started. All in all a wonderful evening. The wines presented were all very good. The Wine Cellar has a first-class wine list, comprising some of the "best of the best" from around the world... and at reasonable prices too! Recommend The Wine Cellar for a glass, a bottle, or a wine tasting class!

Responses were a bit slow initially, but with a few follow-ups she was helpful and did a good job answering my questions and clarifying details. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a great choice for a festive gathering. Our reservation was in the evening in mid-December, so we did not get to experience the outdoor views, which I imagine are beautiful. That said, the indoor dining experience was still very pleasant. Our waitress was wonderful. She was accommodating, communicative, and professional throughout the evening. The food was tasty and well presented, and overall the group seemed happy with their selections. I ordered the bolognese. It was not the best I have had, but it also did not feel like a standout dish on the menu. I would be open to trying other options next time. Overall, we had a positive experience and would return. We are looking forward to coming back.

They have this ceiling fans open that I don't know what's the reason behind opening it when the weather is so cold. And who puts string lights close to a ceiling fan??? It was a nightmare for me and my family members.. the ceiling fan and all the outdoor dining is a big safety concern! The ceiling fan got broken after it hit the string lights and one of the propellers broke and suddenly flew to my face, luckily I saw it and just turned around but still hit my neck to shoulder area. It was a huge, thick fan propeller and I don't think people will understand this if you didn't experience or saw it in person. Everybody was in shock and panicky because no one is turning off that ceiling fan even if it was still broken and hit ME on my neck! My family had to shout a few times just so everyone is aware to turn off the ceiling fan! Compensated all of our food but it will but our life will never be the same again.. the trauma you this restaurant caused us! And I think the staff wasn't really fully trained to execute an emergency because they don't even know what to do and at the end they just offered me free wine and the calling card of who ever we need to talk incase we have future claims with them. Other than that, one of the staff members were a little bit nosy and staring at us and giving us that annoying look! And that's unacceptable and inappropriate. To conclude this, someone needs to be liable.. definitely not coming back to any restaurants named after this company in future. Luckily, the food and server was good but still not a solution to a horrible accident that could have been prevented by the staff or maintenance. Safety of customers is the top priority but they have ZERO of that yesterday! Thank God for the EMT and for my family who took care of me.

However, we spent our entire time here with Ms. Patrice. She's such a great hostess! We decided on the wine tasting. The tasting is $20 and included six 1 ounce tastings, as well as a complimentary wine glass to take home. But don't worry, if you're not sure what to get, Ms. Patrice will not steer you wrong. She's very knowledgeable of all wines, dry, semi or sweet. I love the fact that most of the wines have a backstory relating to the owners, makes it even more special. Along with the several wines, they also offer cups, shirts, other trinkets, as well as meats from the Baxter farm (the owners). So glad to have found this place and they have reasonably priced bottles. I left with two but one of my friends left with four bottles! Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. If you're ever in town, you won't be disappointed.

We bonded on where we all previously lived among other things but even without that, he was fantastic; so knowledgeable and so fun. I love the tasting sizes so you can sample a few before deciding on a full glass, which I did with the Sancerre because it's just so phenomenally delicious. Paired with the Funghi and Brie pizza, it was orgasmic. Christopher sold us on the pizza and I'm so glad he did. It was absolutely scrumptious and very light! Delightfully un-American.
