Dropped my kids pants off to be hemmed on 1/9/26 and was told it would be a day or two. I went today, 1/19/26- ten days later and they were not ready. $25 for a hem is pretty high to begin with, 10 days is more than enough time to do a simple hem. I took my son's jacket to have a snap repaired. Said they'd have to send it to their seamstress. They returned it with NO repair and 3 ADDITIONAL snaps broken. It was his favorite jacket and they don't make them anymore. Icing on the cake was that we had to actually call and ask for the refund for the money we paid up front. They didn't disclose that it wasn't fixed and had additional damage when we picked it up. read more

I had a special project involving a Broncos rug belonging to my husband's late father. The gentleman I first spoke to gave me an accurate estimate on the length of time it would take (over several holidays) as well as cost. In the end, the cost was much less than I had anticipated and the work was incredible. They were not only able to clean the rug but repair it as well. The woman I picked up from was super sweet! My husband actually thought it was a new rug when he saw it! We are so thankful to 4th Street Cleaners for allowing us to better cherish this keepsake. read more

Beware if I could give this cleaners a 0 star I would. I took my high end sweater to be pressed and when my husband picked it up for me it had holes everywhere... I called the cleaners the woman tried to say I brought it with holes already and was going to put it in the notes in the computer and hung up on me. I went down there to verify it was the lady who took my sweater and looked at together with me. Sure enough it her she claims she's the manager she was very rude. Didn't even own up to it that she ruined my sweater. She thought it was funny and laughing. but there's another gentleman there claiming he's the manager. May be a mom and pops cleaners very dead I never see anyone there dropping off there clothes I recommend going to a dry cleaners that has a chain of them. There more professional and know what there doing.... read more

I've never had my racing jacket cleaned for fear the white letters would end up being pink. Finally broke down and took it to 4th Ave. Cleaners. It looks great. It was ready for pick up a day early. The lady there was very attentive to my concerns. The cost is very reasonable. I'm never using someone else. It's only 4th Ave. for me. read more

I was using this place for a while until I found Ocean Cleaners at 104th and Chambers in CC. Had them do a couple alterations and dry cleaning and I'm not impressed. A couple times now, I've had articles of clothing that are special to me returned with missing buttons, like a machine just ripped them off. And the worst part is, when I call to explain and ask if they have the button, this rude lady answers, clearly doesn't care about the problem and doesn't know what customer service is, and says that I have to bring the clothing in (which is way out of my way) or take a picture and bring that in. She won't let me send an email and says the business doesn't have one. She really doesn't offer to help at all. I'll take Ocean Cleaners--they're very nice and they have a regular parking lot, whereas 4th Avenue is just all-around sketchy. read more

I'm finally bringing myself to write this review after several encounters with this place... what takes the cake for today is my wedding dress preservation experience. Though for the record I'll note some of the other annoyances I have with them is they're not always the friendliest, and they are extremely over priced on the most random of things. Back to my dress preservation experience - I brought in my dress, veil and a brooch bouquet that I hand made a couple months ago and asked that it all be preserved together. The dress was already clean so all it really needed was a steam... at any rate I explained that I wanted my dress to be "steamed and preserved" along with the veil and bouquet that I made. I specifically asked also whether they ship items out for this service and was told they "sometimes" do. They confirmed my request was doable and I left. Today I picked everything up only to realize (when I arrived back home) the reason it was so inexpensive was that nothing was done except a steam, and then everything loosely placed into a box! I've had a dress preserved before so I'm well aware of what this should look like - I used the "Wedding Dress Preservation Company" the first time, and when I reached out to them this time they pointed me to 4th Avenue as the closest authorized retailer for this service through their company. The box this dress was loosely laid into is not from the "Wedding Dress Preservation Company" - it doesn't have their logo at all, which should have been my first clue. Really, this wouldn't even matter had the job been done right. Several issues with what I got back: 1. NOTHING is secured in the box - I can't stand this up for storage or turn it upside down without the risk of my brooches busting off my bouquet or my dress piling up 2. It is NOT sealed air tight - the whole purpose of getting your dress "preserved" is so it doesn't yellow over the years and to do this it has to be stored in an airtight and sealed box 3. It appears all that was done was my dress and veil were placed into a plastic wardrobe bag and then laid into the box (with the same cardboard bodice I brought the dress in with) - it doesn't even look like any effort was made here The first time I had a dress preserved they did a beautiful job - they folded my veil very neatly over the dress in a way that looked very elegant - so you could see through the window what was in the box, and everything was very secured. Needless to say I'm extremely disappointed- no wonder why it was only ~$31... I basically paid for a very large box that I can't even store upright since nothing is secured in the thing! I was expecting this to cost closer to $150, which is what it was the first time. I did call the store when I discovered the issue and am waiting for a call back from the owner. Hopefully I'll get a better understanding of what happened here and figure out a solution. Stand by for an update. read more
