Luckily, we happened across this one when we were visiting Schonbrunn. It was about a mile walk, but it was well worth it. The atmosphere was very home-like, with a friendly, cheery waitress. The menu was completely in German, so I did my best with my high school German and the internet. We ordered beer (massive fail, since we went there for wine), and I got a Reisenschnitzel, while my boyfriend got basically fried chicken. I found out AFTER ordering that Reisenschnitzel means "large schnitzel", and that was a very accurate description. It was a massive pork schnitzel that came with a side of cabbage, and potato salad. It was so good, I probably ate more than I should have, but I could only finish half. My boyfriend's fried chicken was really tasty as well. We then waddled about a mile to a U-bahn stop, quite sated.
As a side observation, Austrian cooking has a strange but admirable ability to fry food and yet have it still taste light and not oily.
