So hard to find a tailor skilled in working on leather and equipped with special leather sawing machines (especially in The Woodlands / Spring area). I usually don't write reviews, but I'm making an exception. I had a great leather sport jacket that was a little too small on the arms and waist. I didn't think there was anything that could be done due to the style of the jacket. There were vent zippers on the sleeves, the underarm area was complex and there was a zipper on the wrist. I took the jacket to 4H Tailor. Even with just the fitting clips on I was certain I made the right choice. Anna added some stripes along the stitches and my jacket fits like a glove and looks so much better. There is zero way to tell that the jacket was altered . I wasn't disappointed with the final result! Ana fixed my favorite leather bag and two of the worn out leather cushion covers of my coach. I highly recommend 4H Tailor. Completely worth the price. read more

Place is great. She can work under a crunch and her prices aren't as high as others make it seem. I'm sure there is cheaper but you get what you pay for. I used a different tailor across 45 and this one was so much closer to home that I decided to give it a try. I took a shirt to be taken down to both places and she was the same if not slightly cheaper which sold me. I totally recommend. read more

She worked wonders on my wedding dress- I bought it for $100 off a Chinese website- when it arrived it didn't fit in any direction- I brought it to 4H last month and just picked it up - it fits perfect! Looks like a thousand bucks. read more

Ana altered my niece's dress for her Prom. She fit us in the same day that we called. She was clear and precise on her charges up front. She made a few pins here and there and my niece had that "This is gorgeous" look on her face and that is how amazing Ana is with her details and her recommendations. I have never had gowns, suits or otherwise altered but the price was a little the high side, in my opinion, but it was worth it for the excellent work! Last time I went here which was about a month ago, I brought in a pair of jeans with 2 holes to be patched. She told me it was $6 a patch. I talked to her about bringing in others after I picked up the first pair. Today I took in another pair of jeans with 2 holes in the exact same places that weren't as big as the others she had patched before and she said $15. I told her that last time she charged me $12. This would have been fine if she simply said yes, I had to increase pricing for whatever reason but no, instead she said well actually it's $10 a patch...HOW DID THE PRICE JUST GO UP?!?!?! The first pair of jeans were just ok when she patched them but at least they weren't messed up more so that's why I went back a second time. Lack of consistency is not going to make me trust your business...how do you expect to retain customers by just making up a price on a whim...that's dishonest in my book. Ana is a great tailor, there's no denying her skills, however, I had the same experience as a previous reviewer where she changed pricing on a whim. I've been taking clothes to her for about a 18 months and have noticed a steady price increase from about $15 to $20 to take pants in at the waist. I was willing to overlook this because she is by far the best tailor I've ever been to. I've probably spent close to $1,000 on alterations since making her my regular tailor and was happy with her until today. I had taken a pair of pants back to her to be taken in a bit more, this was probably the 3rd item of clothing I'd needed re-done out of all the things I've brought her. Normally, she doesn't charge me if something needs to be re-done. This time however, I went in to pick up the pants and she informed me she was going to charge me the usual $20 because I can't keep bringing items back to her and expect not to pay again. I don't have a problem paying again for an item (although in the past I've never had to do this with other tailors) the problem was she told me after she'd done the work, not when I dropped it off. She ultimately didn't charge me but I am hesitant to go back. The whole thing was poorly executed and her tone was rude as if I was taking advantage of her by bringing back 3 of the many pieces she'd altered for me over the course of 18 months.
