On the morning of service, Shane (15 years electrician) and Levi (7 years electrician) knocked it out in four hours. (And that included fixing a couple of minor problems, at no extra charge.) They were great (i.e. they put up with all my questioning). One star was removed for not contacting me that they were ready to install my new box until they were parked outside my gate. They were apprentice electricians or just handymen. Some had little qualifications, no verifiable license, insurance etc. Some quotes were ridiculous in price. I found on point electric. Rick is a Master electrician. He is licensed, insured, has a A+ BBB rating. His reviews were over the top. Some of the pics on his website of the jobs he's completed are home magazine material. I booked him with ease. He was able to get out to my daughter's house on move in date and knocked the job out in no time. His work is impeccable. His fees are very reasonable and he even offers discounts for military, first responders, elderly etc. He also warranties his work. We also had an alarm system installed in our daughters home. We wanted a garage camera installed. This required a hard wire job since there were no outlets etc. The alarm company was going to sub out the job then add their fees on top of it. We asked Rick to do it instead. It was not something he normally deals with but he agreed to help us out. His fee for this job was far more friendly than what the alarm company wanted. He saved us some money and completed the job probably far better than whatever sub the alarm company was going with. We will definitely be using Rick in the future for all our electrical needs. We bought a home in Flower Mound and I contacted Charlie Brown for the installation of 8 tvs and…read moreseveral Sonos products. I looked at his reviews and they all seemed good from his customers so I had no doubt in hiring his company. I met Charlie and he asked for a favor if I could purchase the TV's and the Sonos from him as he can match the prices I received and it would help him with his sales. I obliged but to only find out that after purchasing them, the pricing on the tv's went down a couple weeks later (at this point they were all at his location and not installed). He gave me an attitude and said once they are purchased he couldn't match the price and I proceeded to tell him I would return them and buy them somewhere else. Finally he said he could do it. Charlie gave me a price "not to exceed a certain amount of money to install the tvs and several Sonos systems". He arrived the first day, installed the large 100" and then he left for another appointment and had his helper install the rest of the tvs upstairs . Two days later, he came back and installed the other 2 large tvs and hooked up only 2 Sonos systems. He quoted me 245/hr for 2 men. He still charged me when he left early the first day, on his Invoice he said he was here a certain day and worked 8 hours (he didn't) and that particular day my hardwood floors were being refinished and there was nobody allowed in the house. With the miscalculeted hours, the numerous cigarette breaks he took in front of my house, I learned that this guy is not about customer service, he is about getting in and getting as much money as he can from the customer and not even finishing his work. I have wires hanging down from the tvs, tvs that are not level and 2 of the tvs that have apple boxes that were suppose to be installed behind the tvs are actually hanging over the tvs at this very moment. I contacted Charlie a week ago after his shoddy work and fabricated hours for the warranty cards, the manuals for the items I purchased. Between the Sonos and the TVS alone I spent over 25K and 2 days of labor was 3400.00, so almost 30K was spent and I have not heard from Charlie since this request. Don't be fooled by this con-artist and the reviews he has on here, if anyone wants to see the pictures, the receipts of the Invoices, the emails sent to him, please reach out. I want everyone to be aware that this guy is not who he says he is. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
